I booked Adleyn’s Canvas/Ahern Beauty for my wedding after hearing positive reviews from friends who had used them as part of other bridal parties. I wanted a very natural look, so I still looked like myself, but so I was also photo ready. I had two trials for my hair with Michelle. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but she was happy to try multiple styles and didn’t make me feel bad about it! I had one makeup trial with Lexi who also did my makeup the day of. Lexi took feedback positively and there was quite a lot of feedback from one bridal party member. She definitely practiced patience and kept the vibes positive! The combination of Lexi’s calm and quiet demeanor and Michelle’s bubbly personality were the perfect combination on wedding day. Myself and all the girls looked great. No one was in the bathroom “fixing” their look after the fact - and i think that tells you everything you need to know! Plus, they were great to communicate with leading up to the day, timely the day of, and overall really easy to be around. I could imagine the day going very differently without the right hair and makeup vendors! Thank you Michelle and Lexi!

Adelyn's Canvas was a dream come true for my wedding day hair and makeup! I did a trial with Jaclyn and Tracy a few months before my wedding day and they were so nice to work with that I immediately knew it would be perfect. I wanted more of a natural look that felt like a glammed up version of myself and they absolutely delivered! They made me feel absolutely gorgeous on my day and were so helpful the weeks/months leading up to the wedding with all questions I had about what products to get, how to prep my hair/skin beforehand, and even answered questions that my mom had! Along with their team, they made the "getting ready" part of my wedding morning so memorable. Everything went so smoothly, and they were able to make the morning really fun for all of us! My entire bridal party was so happy with how their looks came out too, and everyone's glam lasted all day and night long. I can't recommend working with them enough!

Jacklyn and her team are the best in the business! They did my makeup + 15 of my family & friend’s makeup for our wedding in Florida. They are organized, professional, but above all, kind and fun to be around on your big day! Jacklyn immediately understood my vision for Welcome Party and Wedding Day makeup. Not only did Jaclyn and her team exceed our expectations with makeup, but they assisted in day of planning and organization, coordinated with other vendors, and made sure we were having fun. Jacklyn and her team are absolutely amazing and extremely professional. They have done my daughter makeup in the past for various occasions and they were so good and so kind. When it came time for my daughter’s wedding we asked Jacklyn and her team to travel to Florida with us! They are that good!! Not only did they do a fabulous job with our hair and makeup they also worked extremely well with the photographer. They are wonderful to work with They help you relax and they are so much fun to be around The listen to each persons vision of what the want and they are able to execute that vision. They stay close bye all day in case you need a touch up or want to completely change your hairdo. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I got married on 10/15/23 and Jaclyn and her team were absolutely phenomenal!! I would recommend them to everyone! Jaclyn is SO talented, sweet, smart and fun to work with. My makeup has literally never looked better. It lasted the entire day and night -- my guests were amazed by that!! She really listened to what I wanted and helped me bring my vision to life. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her help. Leading up to the day she was always so communicative, professional and answered all of my questions so quickly! The makeup trial was a great experience as well -- it was a long trip to get to my apartment but she did it and was just so helpful while figuring out what kind of look I wanted. She and her team also fit right in with my bridal party and made the morning so fun and seamless. The team really vibed off our energy and it just felt like one big group of friends hanging out all day! My bridal party and family couldn't stop raving about how great they were, and the beautiful work they did. I cannot thank Jaclyn enough for being such a special and essential part of my wedding. Michele was my hair stylist and Lexi was my makeup artist. I so appreciate both of them for helping me to feel beautiful on such an important day. They were professional, attentive and amazing at their jobs! I last minute added an additional hair stylist and makeup artist, which was an easy process. They were also fantastic and helped everything go smoothly! My mom, mother-in-law, sister and friends all loved their hair and makeup as well. I would highly recommend this team for hair and makeup for your wedding!

Jaclyn did my makeup and Andrea did my hair for my recent wedding and omg they were fantastic!! I can’t express enough how beautiful I felt the entire day, all thanks to them. I didn’t want too much glam, just to look like myself but an enhanced version that would last all night and Jaclyn and Andrea did just that! Jaclyn and her team are amazing. Myself, my bridesmaids and family members all looked amazing. They tweaked makeup styles to make each person feel comfortable and everyone came out looking flawless. My bridal makeup lasted all night and Jaclyn listened to and executed my vision. Her and her team had great vibes for our wedding morning and were such a pleasure to be around.

I could not have asked for a better hair & make-up duo than Devon and Michele! They did an amazing job and were accommodating and receptive to everyone's requests and made sure that everyone got what they wanted. We had a very early morning but Devon and Michele were still so personable and fun and we loved having them as part of the day. The make-up looked natural but elevated and everyone's hair looked beautiful and held up for the whole day. In the planning process the team was responsive to questions and their advice was invaluable when it came to coordinating timing.

Absolutely LOVED working with Jaclyn and her team. They went above and beyond making sure everyone felt comfortable. Jaclyn was so easy to communicate with and made the entire process seamless with how organized she is. We didn’t want her to leave! Adelyn’s Canvas is amazing! I had such a great experience with Jaclyn and her team on my wedding day 6/25/22. They are professional, kind, and fun! She helped me figure out a perfect timeline for the morning of to get everyone ready and arrived on time. Everything went smoothly! I was beyond happy with my makeup as well as all my bridesmaids and moms. Everyone was talking about how our makeup stayed on all day long and it was a long, hot summer day! I had an absolutely amazing experience right from my trial to the wedding day. Tracy (hair) & Lexi (makeup) were INCREDIBLE!!! Not only did they make me feel so comfortable from the start with their friendly conversation and kind words, but they also made my bridal party and family feel so good about themselves, too! I met them 10 months ago when I had my trial and the two of them, along with Jaclyn, made sure to stay in touch leading up to the big day to answer my questions, go over logistics, and discuss my desired look. In addition to doing my hair and makeup, they also took care of 7 other ladies, including the MOB and MOG. They made sure we stayed on schedule and that the room was light and carefree all morning. All of the ladies in my bridal party were so happy with their looks, which made me so happy. Furthermore, our hair and makeup stayed in place the entire day - even after hours of photos outside and lots of dancing! Highly recommend Adelyn's Canvas! You won't regret booking them! I was immediately at ease with Jaclyn from the moment she came to my house for a makeup trial way back in 2019. Despite several postponements because of COVID, she was always professional, warm, and great at responding to my emails and texts. As a plus size bride, I was really nervous about finding makeup and hair vendors who would make me feel confident and comfortable. Jaclyn truly made me feel beautiful on the day of my wedding (3/13/22). She was wonderful with my bridal party, including my mother and mother-in-law, adjusting based on their requests and even replicating a makeup look for my MOH based on a photo! She didn't try to force any particular look on me, and I still felt like myself, but just turned up to 100! She's professional, warm, accommodating, and so talented. You and your bridal party will look stunning.

Best wedding hair and makeup! In love with my wedding hair/makeup from Jaclyn's team! Andrea did my hair and Michelle did my makeup and they are total pros! I felt like royalty on my wedding day, and looking back at pictures I could not be happier. The makeup photographed beautifully in all lights/spaces and held up for the entire day/night! Stunning bridal hair / makeup! On behalf of my 9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, flower girl and myself - wow! Aside from enhancing everyone's beauty, Tracy and Jackie were truly a joy to have on my wedding day. It felt like getting ready with girlfriends, laughing and having the best time. Their natural aesthetic is truly what sold me - they listened to the "natural but enhanced" vibe I was going for and brought it to life. Initially, I was nervous about the amount of people in the bridal party and the timeline to get out of the door on time. As the true professionals they are - we were early! Everyone in the bridal party loved Tracy and Jackie and a few already have them in mind for future events. I could not be happier with the service - I absolutely recommend!

Tracy and Jaclyn were absolutely amazing. They were so efficient with hair and makeup which was so impressive considering the large bridal party I had! They were a pleasure to work with and were so nice and calm! All of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous and I couldn't have been happier with the way my makeup turned out. Jaclyn and Devon absolutely killed it! They did 13 of us in a matter of hours and we were all so beyond pleased with our makeup. It’s hard to please 13 women, but they made it happen! They both travelled for my destination wedding and communicated with me through all the planning and traveling. My makeup held up all night. They were so personable and fun to get ready with. I'm so happy with your services and how all the ladies (including myself) who got ready with me on my wedding day looked so beautiful and felt taken care of. Both my mother and mother-in-law tried on fake eyelashes for the first time AND they kept them on for the entire night! Originally, I had planned to change my hair to an up-do but decided against it because I loved my curls so much that I kept my hair down the entire time to enjoy them even while dancing. I could not be happier with my choice to use Jackie and Adelyn's Canvas for my wedding! I loved Jackie from the moment I met her at my trial. We tried a couple of different looks and she did such an amazing job, that even my dad loved the look (he hates makeup). I used Adelyn's Canvas and Ahern Beauty for my engagement photos and April 2021 wedding, and could not have been happier!  Both Alexi (makeup) and Danielle (hair) did such an amazing job on both days.  Alexi is so gifted with makeup, she made me and my bridesmaids look so elegant but still natural.  As someone with not the best complexion, she made my skin look flawless and photograph so well, with no retouching needed!  Danielle did my hair down in loose waves for my engagement photos and up for my wedding, both looks were perfect and better than I imagined.  She understood exactly what I wanted and my hair stayed put both days, a testament to her skills!! My bridesmaids were just as happy with their hair and makeup.  I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID and Adelyn's Canvas and Ahern Beauty could not have been more helpful and accommodating.  They are professional, responsive, and truly love what they do.  I could not recommend them enough and will definitely use them again for future events.

I hired Ahern Beauty and Adelyn's Canvas for hair/makeup for my wedding day and it was the best decision! First of all, they were SO accommodating and helpful when we had to move our wedding day from 2020 to 2021. On top of that, both Jaclyn and Devon are amazing at makeup! All of my bridesmaids were raving about how they looked. I had over 14 women getting ready that morning and they did such an amazing job of making sure adequate time was given to everyone, as well as just bringing such an amazing vibe to the morning! Everyone loved them - it was so fun to get ready together! We even realized we needed Jaclyn to come back for touch ups for me after she had already left and she came back to help, no questions asked (even though she was already 15 minutes away!). I cannot thank the Adelyn's Canvas team enough for making me look & feel so special on my wedding day and would absolutely recommend to work with them! Two of my bridesmaids even asked for their contact info on the spot because they loved how much they looked!!

BEST of the BEST!!! I found Adelyn's canvas on The Knot and after reading all of the amazing reviews knew that I needed to reach out, and I am SO GLAD that I did.... I first contacted Jaclyn in March of 2019 for my originally scheduled May 2020 wedding, right from the beginning she was incredibly responsive and kind-- even though I would later learn that she was away in Hawaii for a project during that time-- I was specifically looking for a Makeup AND Hair team, and right away Jaclyn connected me to Tracy, at Ahern Beauty..... THIS IS THE DREAM TEAM. I scheduled a trial and they came to my house and tried several styles with me to find what I liked best. Beyond that, meeting them at the trial was so much fun- they made the experience feel really special and by the time the trial was over I KNEW I NEEDED to book them and signed on the spot. This was the easiest and best vendor decision I made for the entire wedding. Fast forward to 2020, the pandemic hit and our plans, like so many others, needed to change. Jaclyn was incredibly accommodating, switching over our contract to our new date for later that year. When we realized that our new date was also unlikely and changed our plans once more Jaclyn jumped right in. We spoke on the phone and via email several times to iron out all of the details and was incredibly flexible with me, especially considering I only gave her 1 month's notice. On the day of the wedding, Adelyn's Canvas and Ahern Beauty showed up on time, opted in to our covid rapid testing--- which stretched out timeline--- and still managed to get everyone's hair and makeup done and LOOKING AMAZING on schedule. All of my bridesmaids were ecstatic, many claiming that this is the best they've felt for any wedding. Even more, everyone loved hanging out with them all morning. I had them stay for touch ups, which I highly recommend, especially because they have such positive energy and a calming presence while so much is going on around you! The best decision I made for my wedding was hiring the Adelyn's Canvas / Ahern Beauty team. Jackie and Tracy are not only incredibly talented, but they are genuinely wonderful human beings that I enjoyed spending my big day with. Jackie has this impeccable ability to match the perfect palette of colors to each individual that I have not experienced with any other makeup vendor I have worked with for my friends’ weddings. Because of this team, I looked and felt like a goddess all day while still looking like myself, rather than feeling hidden behind heavy makeup and extensions. Choosing Adelyn’s Canvas as a vendor for my wedding was a complete joy. From my first email- this company made me feel so relaxed and taken care of. I had the pleasure of having Michele and Tracy as my hair and makeup the day of. They are true gems. Pleasant and warm, exactly the type of people you want to surround you during an emotional morning. During the trial, I was struggling with the makeup looks I thought I might like/ look good on me. I brought my ideas to them and they happily helped me figure out what worked and would complement my dress. On the day of, both were early and ready to start. They worked quickly but with such precision and care, truly listening to what everyone wanted. We stayed on schedule and everyone loved how they looked. I asked for slight variations to my hair from what we did at the trial and they adjusted without issue. My sister who had never had her makeup and hair professionally done felt so at ease with them, it was awesome to watch. My own hair and makeup lasted the entire day- past the after party. And I personally felt amazing and confident- loving every aspect of the look they had created for me. I can’t thank them enough.

Samantha was a true makeup professional and lovely person. She listened to all of my concerns and came prepared with makeup that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. As a person who doesn’t wear much makeup she made me feel like the very best version of myself (with a little extra wedding glam.) My makeup was also PRISTINE for the entire night—through tears and all. 10/10 would book for every occasion.

From the moment I met Jaclyn, I knew she was special. It was like I was on one of those dating websites, and I didn't want to look at any more makeup artists because she was the one. For the first time in a very long time, I looked at myself in the mirror and felt beautiful. That was very important to me - to see MYSELF in the mirror staring back in my wedding dress. Jaclyn gave me an extraordinary gift on my wedding day, which was confidence. I didn't think I would be able to have that. Even looking at my pictures, I can see a pure smile because (1) I was marrying my best friend and (2) I felt beautiful. Jaclyn followed me from my hotel to the church, and then to my venue. I used Adelyn’s Canvas and Ahearn Beauty for makeup and hair for me and my 12 bridesmaids and I cannot say enough positive things. My sister had used them for her wedding a few years earlier, so I was not that surprised when they wowed us once again. ALL of my bridesmaids were extremely happy with how their makeup and hair came out. Jaclyn and Michele and their staff are super friendly and were fun to hang with while getting ready. They made sure that each bridesmaid got what they wanted, continuing to do touchups as the bridesmaids asked. As for me, the bride, well they knocked both hair and makeup out of the park. After trying multiple hairstyles at my trial and still being indecisive, Michele continued to work with me until I decided on the perfect style. I absolutely loved how I looked on my wedding day (as did my husband). They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend both companies to all brides.

Adelyns Canvas was absolutely wonderful! Jaclyn and her staff did the most amazing job on my makeup (bride) and all of my bridesmaids. Everyone including myself looked like rockstars on the day of my wedding! Jaclyn was so easy to work with, and really concentrated on everyone’s personal aesthetic, making sure she captured the style everyone was looking for. All of us had airbrush, and let me tell you, the next morning the makeup was literally perfect! It did NOT move! I never felt more beautiful in my life than how I felt on my wedding. I found Adelyn’s canvas by researching on the knot after endless hours of trying to find the perfect makeup artists. I wanted to book people who did hair and makeup, as it makes it easier to manage my vendors, and also peace of mind knowing they already know how to work together—so it was perfect she has a sister company, Ahern Beauty which does hair. Jaclyn had great reviews and a modern website so I sent an inquiry and booked a trial for my engagement photos. She came to my apartment for the trial which so was so nice and convenient. The engagement makeup came out great, but since I’m really not used to seeing myself in professional makeup I booked a second trial to coincide with my hair trial closer to the wedding date. I tend to be pretty particular about my makeup and she had no problem continuing to change and tweak my look little by little until it was perfect in my eyes. I basically wanted an “enhanced” version of my regular makeup I do on myself and she totally nailed it. I LOVED the way my makeup looked for the wedding, she spent time making sure everything looked perfect and I was happy. She even make sure to bring the same brand lashes that I loved from my second trial. The day of my wedding I had makeup and hair for 7 ‘maids, 2 moms and myself. The makeup came out amazing—everyone looked stunning and the makeup lasted well into the night. My BM’s that got their makeup done as the first appt (9AM) still looked flawless at 2AM (and for reference it was a hot day in the middle of July). The wedding day went very smoothly, and they were done early, so there was absolutely no getting ready stress. During the whole planning process Jaclyn was extremely quick to respond to all e-mails. Another thing I loved is that I could pay ahead of time so I didn’t have to worry about a bunch of cash the day of. 100% would book again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing makeup!

I booked Adelyn’s Canvas for my New York wedding (I’m from the UK) and wasn’t disappointed. Michele Aherne did both my hair and makeup and made me look and feel a million dollars. She was super prompt, so lovely and took away all my nerves. Michele is a lovely, very talented lady and I’d recommend her wholeheartedly- in fact I just have to a friend who also wants to get married in NYC!

I worked with Jackie for my bridal makeup and she is honestly magical with her makeup skills. I found her as a bridesmaid in another wedding she did, and was amazed at how great I looked after working with her. On my own wedding day, she nailed my look perfectly. Feeling confident in your own skin is so important that day and she made that happen for me. She's also a very relaxed and lovely person which is exactly what you want on your wedding day! Couldn't recommend more!

I came across Adelyn's Canvas by chance on Instagram. On a day to day basis, I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my make-up and I know my now husband doesn't like "too much make-up" so it was very important to me to find someone that really nailed the natural look. Bam, enter Jaclyn. She is so great at what she does, and it really shows. She and her team came to my house to do make-up for 9 people and it ran so smooth and everyone truly loved their looks. I felt beautiful the entire day as did my mom, MIL, and bridesmaids. She is also so easy to get along with and she answers all your questions to take any stress away before the big day. Devon and Andrea did my Makeup and Hair for my wedding in October. I am SO sorry it has taken me so long to write them both the amazing review they both so badly deserve. I don't even know where to begin, they were both AMAZING. I wouldn't recommend using anyone else. Anyone who asks me I always tell them to use Adelyn's Canvas. Both girls are professional, personable and made myself and my bridal party look like supermodels. Both of them were phenomenal to work with from start to finish! My day was complete with them there and I wouldn't have changed a thing when using them. I HIGHLY recommend them both to all!

I got married in Montauk NY this May 2019 and I could not have been happier working with Tracy and Jaclyn for my big day! I highly recommend them to any bride looking for an excellent beauty team. They were incredible from the trial all the way through to the last minute touches on the big day. I wanted an old Hollywood glam/waves look and wow did they meet all my expectations! Hair and makeup can feel like a big deal on your wedding day (something I was nervous about) with most of the attention all focused on the bride, all the photos being of your face and the full bridal look; with Tracy and Jaclyn, it all happened with ease and perfection. We tried a couple different makeup and hair looks with 2 trials I did, and the final look on my wedding day was 100% what I wanted and I could not have felt more beautiful. My 5 bridesmaids, flower girl, mother, and mother in law all got their hair and makeup done. Everyone looked so beautiful and all were happy with their look! I did go with their suggestion to use extensions and they were very nice quality clip in ones that I was able to take out on my own, and I do think it made a different like Tracy suggested (I also got to keep them which was a nice perk). As far as working with them and having them in my space to get ready, Tracy and Jaclyn were super fun, a pleasure to work with, both such lovely people who I would choose to work with again and again if I could relive that journey over! Thank you both so much for making my dream look come true on my wedding day!

My event planner recommended Adelyn's Canvas telling me that all of the bridal parties that Jaclyn worked with always seemed to be having the best time. I'm so glad that I listened to him. My bridal party and I had such a great time getting ready with Jaclyn. She listened to each of us, taking our own style into account, making us look like better versions of ourselves. Not only was I impressed, my best friend took Jaclyn's card so that she could recommend Jaclyn to her future sister in law.

Jaclyn & Tracy were phenomenal to work with from start to finish! My bridesmaids arranged for them to come for my trail the day of my (SURPRISE!) shower. They worked with me to create several different looks until I was able to pinpoint exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. They also stayed to create an additional style that I wore for my shower. The day of the wedding, they were prompt, professional, and fun to be around. One of my bridesmaids had some skin and allergy concerns - Jaclyn was so patient and accommodating in selecting the right products to use. My bridal party and I felt well taken care of and loved our looks! Thank you both!

Choosing Adelyn's canvas was one of the best wedding decisions I made. The entire team was so sweet and reliable from the day I reached out to them. I was lucky to have Michele for makeup. During the trial, she was so patient and open to any re-dos necessary to perfect my look. On the big day, she arrived early and everyone was ready with plenty of time for photos. We all looked so beautiful and natural, truly the best versions of ourselves. Michele did much more than makeup that day, she painted an unexpected chipped nail, and even helped my mom get ready. Lexi and Michelle were amazing! I got so, so, so many compliments on my hair and make-up! Not only did they come meet me in NYC in a hotel room for my trial, they came to my parent's house in Amagansett for the wedding - which was full of my family (nieces, nephew, babysitters, etc) and they were completely unfazed by all of the chaos. They listened to what I wanted and had very helpful suggestions when needed. My mom, sister, and sister-in-law also got their hair and make-up done and they were all very happy with how they looked! Lexi and Michelle were early for every meeting and very responsive throughout the process. They were an awesome way to kick off my wedding day!!
