she right. Adena was the first venue we looked at, and we knew right away that it was everything we were looking for! ~Alana & Kevin feel like family, no joke. From the beginning, Alana was extremely communicative and transparent about costs, vendors, and even time. We have had such an amazing time communicating with her, that it's so hard to think that it's finally over. Desmond and I knew from the get-go that we would be having a large, bohemian, non-traditional, DIY wedding, and Adena fully truly wholly delivered. From the GORGEOUS setting deep in the Catskills, to the STUNNING authentic barn that Kevin has put so much work into restoring, our wedding would not have been anywhere near as magical or perfect had Adena not hosted it. ~Alana's thoughtful and thorough list of vendors in the area was integral to us finding the perfect collaborators for our big day. The whole family was incredibly helpful and excited to get to help us iron out details and move tables around the day before (and of). Kevin had the best technical considerations and advice throughout the whole process. If you are looking for a transactional, cookie-cutter, wedding factory, hands-off venue, find it elsewhere. If you are looking for a human touch, endless enthusiasm, plentiful creativity, to feel cared for, look no further. This family feels like our family. ~Things we love in no particular order: stunning and thoughtful get ready rooms (for both me and Desmond, it was so important that we both felt special as it was OUR day!); lovely vintage furniture in the barn and main house; idyllic views of the Catskills; how Alana just hopped in as our wedding fairy godmother (no joke, this is her name in my phone) when we didn't have a wedding planner; everyone's willingness to creative problem-solve and roll with the punches when our day-of timeline flew out the window; the bonfire at the end of the night (our guests have not stopped raving); all the little nooks and areas for folks to explore and disappear and contemplate (the willow bridge & the tree tunnel, to name a couple); ok I could keep going on and on and on, but there is nothing not to love. ~We cannot wait to get our photos back so that we can share more, but please enjoy these two magical images (courtesy of Rosey Red Photography, you HAVE to book them). ~Adena fam; there are no words to describe how important you are to us, and how wonderful it has been to work with you. nue itself is beautiful, with a gorgeous 200 year old barn, amazing ready rooms, SEVERAL stunning ceremony locations all with great views of the mountains, and a bonfire after party — what more could you ask for? Alana and Kevin were so incredibly accommodating, making sure that all our questions and concerns were addressed and that we and our guests were comfortable throughout the event. We especially loved that for each event held here, they plant a tree for each couple who gets married. They even went out of their way to secure a cherry tree for us, which was so thoughtful, as cherry blossoms are meaningful to us. Our guests loved wandering the property and we had an amazing time ourselves just reveling in the beauty of it all. Thank you so much Alana and Kevin for helping us have the wedding we’ve always dreamed of.

n nothing but sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail allowed us to have the most perfect wedding day. The grounds and barn are stunning. We had our ceremony in the great lawn, with a beautiful view of the mountains. After our reception in the barn, we had a lovely bonfire to end our night. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

Between their beautiful barns, huge gorgeous fields, big pond, and awesome vintage getting ready rooms and the good hearted souls these two people have, topped everything. If you could wake up the next morning after your wedding and ever say to yourself damn that was my dream wedding this place is it! The location of this venue spot also is in the catskill mountains! The views of the mountains on their property are peaceful and serene. With a few measurements and a couple cuts They are inches away from an $11,000 venue!

From the moment you meet them you know they truly love one another and are not just in it for the money. Throughout the entire year leading up to our wedding day, if there were any questions or issues at all, they were right on top of it. Even us being 3 hours away on Long Island, we never had any problems communicating with them. They really could not have done more for us. With the mountains in the background and the leaves changing color, our day was beautiful and I’ll never forget it. All wedding planning comes with stress and anxiety but once we arrived friday to set up the barn, Kevin and Alana were there to help every step of the way when they could’ve just sat back and let us do everything. They take impeccable care of their property and the barn. Their house, which the bride and the bridesmaids have a room to get ready in, is beautiful. You can tell upon pulling in this couple is warm and inviting. It is now a week later and our families and friends are still talking about how perfect it was. There are no negative things for me to say. It was fate we met these two and when our day came, they made it so we will never ever forget it. What it comes down to is this is not a typical factory wedding venue. In fact, this review really should just be about them. Everything else is an added bonus. We’ve heard horror stories about other people’s weddings. How the venue people were nowhere to be found or couldn’t care what went on because they were making their money and were onto the next one because people need a place to get married. Well, this isn’t one of those places, and these are not your typical venue owners. Kevin and Alana are both warm hearted, kind individuals who want you to have the best day of your life. And that we did. When touring the property you really get a feel for how amazing your wedding can be. We held our ceremony outside next to a big beautiful tree in front of a barn. Kevin is currently working on turning it into an inside ceremony space. There are plenty of options where to hold the ceremony with every way you look having a beautiful backdrop. The barn was beautifully made, with ample space. We had 80 people turn up and we could’ve easily fit another 25 comfortably. The day of the wedding Kevin and Alana were there every step of the way. Any questions we had they were right there to answer for us. The day before we were allowed to come and set up the barn with everything we brought up. They allowed us to stay and work for hours way past the given time frame. In fact, we found ourselves at the end just hanging out and talking to them for over an hour after everything was done. Thats how personable and down to earth they are. You also get more than your money’s worth and are able to basically set up the barn and property in whatever way you like. It really made it that much more special. Like I said this isn’t a factory wedding venue, it’s a place you go to have your special day be everything you could have ever wanted and more. Our wedding was a dream come true and for that I will be forever grateful to have not only been able to work with but to know such amazing wonderful people.

beyond perfect, and we were able to set up the space exactly how we wanted to. All of my guests can’t stop talking about it, and I keep hearing “this is the best wedding I’ve ever been to.” The usable space near the barn is huge, and we even played with the idea of doing a large wedding tent as well as the barn. They have multiple options for areas to do the ceremony- all set with the mountains in the backdrop. The bridal suite area is seriously something out of a bridal magazine. The best part of the whole experience, however, are the two fantastic people who own this space. They were always available for my new husband and I to ask any questions, or for any of our vendors to reach out to. They checked in often with logistical, and checking in to see if we needed anything leading up to the day of. They were truly beyond helpful when it came to day-of setup and could not have been sweeter the entire process! By the end, I felt like they were family! I could not be more sincere, the first time I saw Adena Orchard & Vine, I was in LOVE. I knew it was the one, and that was in February, when everything blooms or the leaves start changing it is just perfection.

erience for our friends and family, outside of the conventions of the wedding industry, and from the moment we stepped on this property we knew it was special. The views are amazing, the barn is gorgeous, and the land itself is a beauty- but beyond all of that is just the Spirit of place. There is so much love, sweetness, and just about every good thing you can imagine at Adena Orchard and Vine. We attribute this to to Kevin and Alana- who are down to earth, do this for all the right reasons, and treated us and our entire process with so much heart... Some of the highlights of our experience: —Visiting the barn, walking the property and enjoying a cool glass of water courtesy of Alana 😊 —Tasting the delicious apples from the orchard —Doing a tree planting in the orchard with our family the weekend of our wedding (they gifted us with our very own tree) and enjoying a toast with our friends and family —Enjoying some intimate moments in the bridal salon with my bridesmaids on the morning of our wedding—it was such a beautiful and serene space to get ready in —Walking the grounds with our photographer on our wedding day, and finding even more breathtaking spots we hadn’t noticed before for our photos —Looking out at the mountains as we sat under our tent...and watching our friends and family take in the incredible views —Watching the sun set in the distance as we danced the night away in the barn —Enjoying a bonfire after the festivities were over There’s much to be said, but long story short- this place is a treasure, and was a major part an experience we will never forget. We would recommend it over and over again.

ers Kevin & Alana. Normally there is a bridal suite and a room for the grooms but at Adena Orchard & Vine there is the most endearing Honeymoon Saloon for the brides and Hubby Cubby for the grooms. The Honey Moon Saloon's details were so precious with antique photos, an antique wedding dress and perfect lighting for preparation photos. The Hubby Cubby is a perfect fit for a gentlemen with its own built-in bar and own entrance to ensure the bride & groom don't meet until that special moment. I would surely recommend this venue for a one of a kind experience! You can't go wrong!!!!

Alana and Kevin, the owners, are dedicated to detail and anticipated our every need. Getting ready in the bridal suite, with its gentle natural light, vintage decor, and relaxed atmosphere was a special treat. We appreciated the opportunity to personalize and put our own stamp on the event. The location is remote enough to feel private and exclusive but close enough to many small charming towns (great for lodging) and major cities. With its rustic charm, the spacious Adena grounds provided exquisite photo opportunities to capture our happy, memorable moments.
