ADK Wedding Officiant

I booked this vendor last year for our October 2021 wedding. She asked me to reach out to her this summer so we could meet up in person and talk about our ceremony. I reached out in July and she answered and asked what days and times work best. I answered her and have not heard back at all. I’ve attempted to call, I have sent numerous emails, I’ve even messaged her many times on here and have not heard a response. Unfortunately I’m out my deposit and had to book another officiant because it is so close to my wedding. Hoping to share so other people do not book her and share the same experience I have.

My fiance and I originally were scheduled to be married in 2020 and it was pushed a year to 2021. We booked Annette in 2020 and then confirmed the move to 2021 once we cancelled. In July, we began to reach out again for our September wedding. There have been double digit attempts at emails and phone calls/messages. We were able to connect once via phone where we were told to call back later, which we did to no answer. I think it was answered because we used a different number that was not recognized. As our date approached and after 1 month of trying to get in touch, we were forced to find a new officiant and kindly asked for our deposit back. We again have not heard anything back and not received the deposit back. The professional thing to do would have been to give us our deposit back instead of keep it for services that were not provided, and let us know she was not able to complete what we hired her to do. Extremely unprofessional and I could not recommend to anyone. No couple should be put into this type of bind.

Thank you to Annette for making our day so special! From changing venues because of COVID, she had no issue with traveling. We sent our vows ahead of time to her so she had them ready for us to read to each other. Building up to the wedding day, she was able to put my mind at ease as to how the ceremony goes. Annette was amazing! She worked with us to create a custom ceremony that was personal and reflective of us as a couple. She was always quick to respond and provide us with updates as needed. The day of she arrived promptly and helped us feel at ease. Would strongly recommend!
