Dorota is the most talented, understanding, patient, and kind-hearted person to work with. My experience at A’Dor Couture was nothing short of exquisite from start to finish. I highly recommend this bridal shop! Dorota is so talented, friendly, and makes you feel at home. From my first appointment my mom, grandma, moh and I had the studio all to ourselves and were treated to champagne and macaroons. The process was so special and beautiful. I wanted a bottom with a different top to the dress and Dorota made me a completely custom gown in the material I wanted for an INCREDIBLE price within my budget with ALL ALTERATIONS included! She listened to all of my needs throughout the fittings. The dress is made for my body and was created using a muslin fitting first. The dress and veil are absolutely gorgeous and no one will have the same dress as me. It’s perfect and I cannot wait for my wedding! THANK YOU DOROTA!!!!!

I am so happy that I found my dress at A’Dor Couture. Dorota and her assistant truly made my wedding dress shopping experience a memorable one. Their knowledge, professionalism, friendliness, and responsiveness are second to none. I constantly found myself stuck between two dresses at other locations thinking “if only the designer paired that bottom with this top”. I was shocked to learn at A’Dor Couture I had the opportunity to work with the designer on the pattern, material of the dress, shape of the dress, etc. Dorota’s assistant was so well prepared for my appointment, she was able to use an app on her phone to show us what the changes would like, though I ended up falling in love with a dress without making any changes to it. Dorota’s dresses are unique and one of a kind and I promise you will have a fabulous experience regardless of making a purchase.

Dorota and Haley were absolutely AMAZING! From the moment I spoke with Dorota over the phone, I knew I would get the dress that I wanted from A'Dor Couture. Dorota is very passionate and knowledgeable about what she does. I told the ladies my must haves (long sleeves, form fitting, slit, lace, and pockets) Dorota was able to nail 4 out 5 must haves, I think that is really impressive. Dorota didn't rush me and even had me try on something that she was working on for her new line. I definitely CAN NOT wait to see the finished product. My friend who was with me also decided during my visit that she would have Dorota design her wedding dress as well.

Such a great experience working with Dorota. I purchased all my wedding accessories from A'Dor and so glad I did (veil, tiara, belt). Everything was high quality and perfect. Dorota has beautiful items and truly cares about her customers. Her shop is so pretty and clean. She handmade my veil and you could see how high quality her work is.

We had a wonderful experience at A'Dor Couture trying on dresses! The owner and designer helped us personally and was fabulous. I was super indecisive about what I wanted and she worked with me to help me find something that was absolutely perfect. It was private and intimate. Throughout the whole process, I felt that my concerns were heard.

Where can I even begin? I could not thank A'Dor Couture & Dorota enough for everything they did to make my wedding absolutely perfect. I had come to Dorota with three different dresses / styles that I had loved and I just NEEDED to somehow combine! Every dress shop that I went to and every dress that I had put on was just so "been there done that", not really fitting my body right, the consultation hosts were blah - I even went to Kleinfields and I can honestly say nothing beats the experience at A'Dor Couture. Dorota took my ideas and created a custom dress, made specifically for me, my body type & walked me through every part of the process. From the sketches, to fabric choices, from even ordering sample beading work to make sure we had it absolutely perfect - she included me and guided me through every decision that needed to get made. Even when I felt like something needed to get changed, she brought in every resource she had to make sure I felt absolutely PERFECT in my dress! My mom accompanied me to one of the first fittings for the Muslin (they fit the piece of fabric just to get a base of the wedding dress) and she was in SHOCK seeing how happy I was - I put this blank piece of fabric on but I could tell, this was going to be IT! The fact that Dorota could do that with one piece of fabric after I had tried on hundreds of dresses.... is amazing. I can tell you, she worked endlessly to make sure it was perfect - texting and consulting with me late night if I had any questions or concerns, fitting me in for fittings around MY schedule - sewing, changing and then re-doing back to the original way because I was a crazy bride - anything she could do to accommodate me. More importantly, she made me feel right at home. We became friends through the entire process, and I just knew she was the only one I could trust to make my dreams come true. Not only did she make my gown, but she also made a custom dress for my daughter as well! It was the most perfect dress I have ever seen - to the lace detail, clip on bow - so elegant and sheer perfection. Dorota is extremely professional, her shop is stunning & her work is flawless. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else but to her! Thank you Dorota for all that you did for me - my wedding was an absolute fairytale thanks to you. XO

My experience with A'dor Couture was beyond phenomenal. I won't lie, part of me was dreading the whole wedding dress shopping experience because of prior misconceptions that were further engrained by wedding stereotypes presented in the media. A family friend, however, recommended that my mom and I check out A'dor Couture in Southport; I will be forever thankful for that recommendation. I was a bit nervous at first because my wedding date was coming up quickly, yet I still had not found the perfect dress. I made an appointment with the boutique and upon our arrival, my mom, maid of honor and I were very impressed with the way A'dor Couture looked. We were instantly made to feel at home in our surroundings and everything was kept to high safety standards- in terms of the awful Covid epidemic that has befallen the world. Upon meeting the owner/designer, Dorota, and seeing how passionate she was about her craft, I knew that this was the woman I wanted to create my wedding dress. Dorota's designs are very captivating and unique all the while remaining very timeless and classic. I knew that I personally wanted something with a Bohemian, yet Old Hollywood feel and their were so many options that met my specific parameters. Honestly, all the dresses she showed us were incredibly well thought out in design and function, but I finally tried on one of her Fall 2020 designs and it was absolutely perfect. When I looked at myself in the mirror-- I knew this dress was the one. Dorota told us that she was able to customize any of her designs. so I was able to add on long sleeves and a closed back to her already beautiful wedding dress template. I truly never thought I would actually find my absolute dream dress, but Polish/American Designer, Dorota, made it happen and was able to get everything done in time for my Halloween wedding date. I will forever be thankful to Dorota and Expert Seamstress Theresa for making my wedding dress dreams come true.

A’Dor Couture made my short dress for my wedding reception. I came to Dorota with a vision - a combination of a long dress I loved (that didn’t fit me well) with some personal touches. I had several fittings and each time Dorota was so meticulous about the fit and the look. We built the dress together step by step and it turned out to be absolutely perfect.

A'Dor couture will give you all the bridal feels! They have an amazing selection of dresses and veils, ALL are high quality. It is all made in the U.S. so you do not have to worry about shipping delays from other countries. PLUS they can take a top you like from one dress and a bottom from another to make one seamless dress. Ladies, that is a very hard find! This place is a gem.

My experience was horrible, In the beginning it was okay, but once designing my custom dress with Dorota it was a disaster. I didn’t get what I wanted in a dress. We had verbally made plans on the way dress should look like and how much it would cost, but once it came around to what the dress actually looked like it wasn’t what I had envisioned when we first discussed it. I told her I wanted to fix it and she said that it would be a few thousand dollars more. So we did minor changes. When we made the deal she said it wouldn’t cost anything if I wanted to change it, because it was verbally planned. After I picked up my dress, the boutique also posted my dress before I even wore it and my fiancé who wasn’t supposed to see the dress saw it because he follows their Instagram page. When they posted the dress I noticed someone was wearing my CUSTOM dress. They said it was to “fix” the zipper, but Dorota, the women who put on my dress, is probably a size or two bigger than me, why is she fixing a dress for someone else, on her body if she is not the one wearing it. I made my self available plenty of times I live less than ten minutes from her store and told her to text me if she every needed me to try the dress even for minor work. We are also amid the COVID-19 PANDEMIC and her husband had the illness and she thought that it was okay to put on dress that is not for her. When I spoke to her via the phone she said, “I thought it wouldn’t be an issue,”. I asked her to return the dress and have yet to hear from her.

I absolutely love A’Dor Couture and the women who work here. I am a bride who is getting married August 7,2020 and my experience with Dorota and her team have been Amazing. She has custom made my dream wedding dress to fit my body like a glove! She was patient (even through the pandemic) to make sure that whatever plans I had for my big day fell through!
