Where do I even begin? LaVonne's positive spirit was what originally drew me into working with her and the final result at my 2 day destination wedding made me glad I did. My now husband and I, along with all our guests, were beyond impressed by Adorations' work of art - from my hair pieces and lighting decor on night one, to touching almost every piece of our wedding & reception. It was great to see how she interpreted my "midsummer night's dream" vision, utilizing unexpected colors like blue into the mix. She really listened to my asks and went above and beyond every step of the way, with changes in setup and table arrangements up until the last minute. She gave us the most Pinterest worthy dream wedding and we couldn't be happier.

After a long search for a local florist who had an eye for design, creativity, and style, I found LaVonne and booked immediately when I first met her. She understood my vision from the very start and executed it perfectly. The flowers and décor were simply the best and I could not be more thankful. In my opinion, LaVonne is one of the most talented florists and designers in San Diego. She didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond my expectations in making my wedding very special. I do not have enough words to describe how incredible it was working with LaVonne for our wedding. LaVonne was recommended from our wedding venue, Vista Valley Country Club. We are truly appreciative, grateful, and blessed we had LaVonne as our designer. I had the opportunity to meet with LaVonne multiple times before our wedding. She is very personal and friendly. LaVonne always took the time to understand not only our vision for the wedding, but my family, the groom, and myself (the bride). LaVonne took the time to get to know me on a personal level, which no other designer had taken the time to do. I truly appreciated her detail oriented work ethic, her outgoing personality, and her artistic vision and execution. During our floral trial, LaVonne blew my mind with her floral creation. Not only had she executed my vision, but also she went above and beyond my imagination. I could not wait to see the flowers and the designs for the day of the wedding. LaVonne created the most beautiful, elegant, and extravagant floral and decor pieces. She created pieces for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. LaVonne created floral pieces for the ceremony gates, floral pieces along the aisle and flower petals for the aisle, and floral pieces for the altar. She created the most gorgeous bridal bouquet for the bridal party and me. The bouquet took my breathe away and I could not wait to walk down the aisle with those flowers. My bridal party and guest were raving about how beautiful and gorgeous the bouquets were. LaVonne created beautiful small centerpieces with candle for the cocktail hour, which matched the venue beautifully. Finally, the reception had the most gorgeous centerpieces. The ceremony had community tables and LaVonne created centerpieces that ran down the entire center of the table. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. The centerpieces also included beautiful candle pillars of all different sizes and dimensions. The centerpieces were incredible. My favorite part was the sweetheart table. The sweetheart table was placed in front of a fireplace. LaVonne created a floral piece for the fireplace which ran the length of the top of the fireplace and done the sides. The sweetheart table also had a floral piece for the top of the table and for the bottom of the table. The table looked like an enchanted garden. LaVonne went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. I would highly recommend LaVonne to be your designer for your wedding day or any other special occasion that requires beautiful flowers and designs.

Adorations was SO incredible to work with. LaVonne completely understood our vision from the very start and executed it flawlessly on our wedding day. It was a floral dream. One of the most frustrating things about planning a wedding (for us) was not being able to see how everything would turn out until day of, but Adorations helped me feel at ease and confident that it would be just as I expected it to be and it was. Adorations put so much care into each and every element, not just florals but votives, table and overall decor. We would highly recommend Adorations Botanical Artistry - they helped to make our big day all that more special.

Working with LaVonne to come up with a floral proposal for my wedding was very lovely. Although, a little slow at responding to emails and hard to schedule time to meet/talk, After working through logistics with her for a month, she was very sweet and really understood my vision for my wedding. After deciding to choose Adorations as my floral vendor of choice, I received a contract and had a few questions before I was ready to sign. However, before I got any answer to my questions, I received an email from Adorations stating that they already filled my date with another bride who signed a contract and provided a deposit. While there was in no way an expectation that Adorations would be holding my wedding date prior to me putting down a deposit, I found it very rude to have been taken by surprise like this. Most vendors that I’ve worked with so far, have given me a heads up when there is another bride also talking to them about the same date. It would have been a nice curtesy for them to have done the same. Just doesn’t seem like the nice way of doing business with someone - especially when there was already so much invested in both parts (at least that was how it felt for me).

If it weren't for LaVonne and her incredible talent with flowers and decor, our wedding wouldn't have been half as glamorous and memorable as it was. She is an absolute artist and has a way with taking an idea and turning it into a dream. I chose LaVonne after having done a ton of research of local florists, looking for someone who had an eye for creativity and could create something a little extra unique for our wedding. LaVonne was perfect for it. From our very first phone call (I was an out of town bride, which she worked out amazingly ), she didn't ask the generic questions. She asked about myself, my groom, who we were as a couple, fashion I liked, movies and songs, what we did for fun. She wanted to get to know us to create the wedding environment we'd love. When we got to creating, she was more than just a florist honestly. She became a wedding guru, helping us understand some of the ins and outs of planning, connecting us with a few vendors who we could use for rentals and decor, and also helping us understand what would work with our vision for the wedding overall. This helped me out so much as I had a general idea of what I wanted but she helped specify what would make my wedding pop. We ended up with gorgeous centerpieces for our guest tables, an insanely lush headtable, plus she worked with my Persian Sofreh Aghd vendor to create a stunning wedding table for my ceremony. I have to say though the one key piece she created that I will love the most is my own bouquet -- it was everything I wanted and she truly listened to what I was going for and created it perfectly. Now like I said, I did my research -- met with a ton of florists, looked up their work/reviews/etc. LaVonne in my opinion is THE florist who will listen to everything you're looking for, help you figure out details you're unsure of, and make you feel calm and excited during the whole process. I say the last part especially because both my mom and I worked together on my flowers for the wedding and my mom and I had 2 different ideas of how things should go. LaVonne was a master of working out the ideas, seeing what mattered traditionally and also to me, and created a memorable wedding setting. We're getting compliments still for how gorgeous everything was. She is simply the best and your wedding will be unforgettable if you choose her as a florist!

We just received our wedding photos and video, and I literally (still) cannot get over the beautiful arrangements created by Adorations. As the wedding approached, I absolutely loved working with LaVonne. She is so phenomenal, and an incredibly creative person. I always felt she was genuinely interested in me and our wedding. Also, she truly captured my vision while considering my budget for the wedding day. I knew she would make the the venue even more beautiful with her tastefully soft floral arrangements. Also, I especially loved the ability to rent decorative pieces from Adorations as well, because there were such amazing lanterns, votives, and other pieces available. On the week of the wedding, rain was on the forecast. I emailed LaVonne with my concerns, and she immediately called me to discuss ideas to compensate for the potentially dreary day. She totally calmed my nerves, and continued to make me feel confident the day was going to be amazing... and it was AMAZING. I feel lucky to have had Adorations as my wedding day florist. I already miss planning with them!

They pulled out the most beautiful flowers for my wedding I have ever seen. Exactly what I had hoped and more. Not to mention incredible customer service. Highly recommend!

LaVonne took the time and care to get to know me as a person before she even asked what I was looking for in wedding florals. That care definitely came through in the absolutely gorgeous work she did on my wedding florals! My personality shined through my bouquet and every, single, flower was absolutely perfect. I asked for something really unique; I asked for the flowers to be incorporated into my vintage wedding decor rather than having them be the star of the show and LaVonne was really willing to work with that idea and my budget. I am forever appreciative of her flexibility and creativity in designing exactly what I was looking for!

I had been on the market for a florist for my wedding for a few months. Both style and price were huge consideration factors. On a serendipitous afternoon, the internet at home wasn’t working so I went to work at Coffee & Tea Collective in East Village. Scattered across the cafe tables, LaVonne’s arrangements caught my eye. Her arrangements were what I was looking for — fresh, casual and loose yet somehow artful and elegant. With gentle persuasion, the barista found me Adorations Botanical Artistry’s number :) What I appreciated most from LaVonne after meeting her at her studio was the philosophy behind her passion. She believed flowers were for everyone, not just for those who could afford them. So she worked with my style (by the way, she was a huge help in defining into words) and advised me on what aspects I could give up to meet my price point without compromising my vision. I needed flowers for the bridal party AND arrangements for 20 farm tables. Both an artist and a business-woman with logistical sense, she really knew her stuff. The end result was a beautiful summer California-tropical wedding with bright and vibrant florals. In my bouquet: vivid coral, pink and orange dahlias were coupled with miniature protea while botanical lush foliages added texture. Our sweetheart table had a bushy eucalyptus garland draped from edge to edge. Each of our farm tables had trios of clear glass apothecary vessels filled with blooms and botanical foliages. It was exactly what I wanted. If you have a vision, LaVonne can put it into words. If you have a budget, LaVonne will be straight up about what’s realistic and what’s possible. Thank you Adorations!! I could not have asked for a better florist. The flowers/decor at my wedding was everything I could have ever hoped for. Not only was everything beautiful but I also did not have to worry about setting things up on the day of the wedding. LaVonne even hand delivered my bouquet to me making it extra special. I am so thankful for Adorations. I highly recommend!!!

LaVonne and the staff at Adorations is extremely talented. She was able to take my ramblings about what I thought would look nice, and translate it into a vision that was beyond my wildest expectations. While she was preparing my florals the day before the wedding she called to inform me that the flowers were larger that she expected and wanted to do a last minute change. I appreciated her communication and how she really is inspired by the materials she is working with, I told her I trusted her and to do what she thought was best and I am SO happy she did. My friends and family can't stop talking about how amazing the florals were. LaVonne is truly an artist and a super nice person to work with. I can't recommend Adorations enough.

LaVonne and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with and all of our guests were raving about the stunning floral arrangements at our wedding. As a bride who knew very little about flowers with a mom who insisted on “lots of flowers everywhere,” I was a little concerned about getting the flowers just right. But I shouldn’t have worried: LaVonne was able to help us find the right kinds of arrangements to get the look and feel we wanted while staying within our budget. One of the few requests I had was for lots of different colors – I wanted bright, vibrant, and something that popped. What she came up with was absolutely magical and better than anything I could have imagined. She even came up with a very creative centerpiece using a large spherical glass vase, which was something I had never seen before. I would certainly recommend LaVonne and her team for your wedding florist, especially if you are a lover of colors, like me!

Flowers were very important to me for my wedding... and LaVonne helped me make my dream a reality and all within my budget!! She worked to understand the style and look my finance and I were going for and brought that through in everything from the bouquets, the ceremony flower, centerpieces, and even the cake flowers! . And what her and her team do is so much more than flowers.. she really helped make the atmosphere beautiful and perfect. I received so many compliments on the work she did and I can't stop looking at the pictures.

We found Lavonne and Adorations Botanicals thought our wedding planner Susanne Duffy, and I"m glad we did! Her vision, her ability to be flexible and create beautiful floral scapes really astounded us! She did an amazing installation that hung from wood slats at the Scripps Seaside Forum that we didn't get to see until our wedding day, but when we did, it was the most amazing thing we've ever seen! She really knows her flowers and offers endless possibilities to what she can create for your wedding! Also, she's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, which is important at putting you at ease!

We found LaVonne, owner of Adorations Botanical Artistry, through our Wedding Planner, Susanne of Crown Weddings. She was amazing! From the first moment we met her, our daughter said she is the one. I cannot tell you what an incredible experience it was working with her. At the first meeting, she tries to get an idea of who the bride and groom are and today that is rare. She Listens and she hears what is being said. She has a wonderful calming aspect to her personality that really gives you a feeling of such confidence in her and her abilities. Her artistic side will blow you away!! Everyone who was at the wedding and others who have seen the pictures have commented on how gorgeous it all was and they had never seen such incredible flowers. The design work throughout the venue from the outdoor ceremony and cocktails and then following through to the inside for the reception was truly a work of art. One of the things for my daughter was having a chuppah that was not typical in design, with flowers adorning it. After working on the design aspect of it and meeting with LaVonne, relaying our ideas, she created one of the most breathtaking chuppahs we have ever seen. But above everything else, LaVonne was an absolute pleasure to work with. She showed such patience with every aspect through the planning process, changes and all. She is an absolute professional in every sense of the word. I would highly recommend her and hope to use her again myself some day.

Adorations Botanical Artistry did an amazing job on the flowers for our wedding!! LaVonne and her staff were wonderful to work with and had beautiful, creative ideas! They added extra touches like a flower in each folded napkin or additional bouquets on the buffet tables that really made the venue look richly decorated. Adorations coordinated the linen rental and made sure they looked wonderful with the place settings and centerpieces. We were even able to re-use the flowers from the wedding/reception the next day at brunch so the guests were able to enjoy them again! Adorations did an amazing job and I couldn't imagine any prettier arrangements!!
