n and were able to recreate exactly what I wanted and had shown inspiration photos of. I asked for soft glam makeup and Hollywood hair waves, and they did a phenomenal job. My hair is thin and can barely hold a curl, but Kelley was able to style my hair so it held the wave all night long in 90°+ heat! Very pleased with our experience!

really light and natural looking makeup. During our trial she eased my fears that bridal makeup would make me look like a clown. She is an artist and it shows. If you are looking for a makeup artist that will bring out your natural features and won’t cake on product, Jessica is your girl. So talented! I also brought in my childhood hair stylist who I have known for years to do my hair because she’s always been like an older sister to me and I wanted her to be part of my special day, so Adore didn’t do hair for me or my mom. This will become important later on in this review. I had 6 bridesmaids with hair and makeup services, plus a MOG hair and makeup, and makeup for my mom. The main issue was with Perla who did 2 of my bridesmaids’ hair, and her attitude was pretty bad. She didn’t have a very open or nice demeanor, which was obvious to us all. Especially compared to the other artists. And she made one of my bridesmaids feel really bad about her hair. Pressing her on when she washed it last (literally that morning), and then saying she couldn’t do a simple curl and bobby pin on her hair because, “her hair felt so heavy and there must be too much product in it”. Cut to that same bridesmaid going to my hairstylist I brought in for me, and she was able to do her hair no problem. It was pretty disappointing. She also just didn’t fully curl another of my bridesmaid’s hair, and my hairstylist had to do that for my other bridesmaid too. I don’t know if Perla felt weird that there was an outside person in the suite doing hair, but this was clearly communicated to the Adore team ahead of time, so it shouldn’t have been a point of contention. Perla did do 4 of the makeup services and knocked it out of the park. She is very talented in makeup, I just wouldn’t recommend her for hair unfortunately. Shirley, Adore’s coordinator for weddings, was really wonderful and great, so this review is not a reflection on her or the overall quality of her team’s work because the third artist Sara was so pleasant and very talented too. It was just such a bummer to have someone in the bridal getting ready area that brought down the mood so much. It was really very noticeable, so much so that we started to section ourselves off from that area because the energy was just so bad. I know everyone has crappy days, but to bring that into a group setting and ruin the mood on my wedding day just sucked. To end this review on a positive note, I went to Adore a few days before my wedding to have them clean up my brows and the end product was phenomenal! If I lived in Austin, they would become my go-to brow place.

hared a conversation about how important wedding makeup is that you still look like yourself. She truly did a perfect job of making me look and feel beautiful and I never felt odd or awkward at the amount of makeup I had on. She and Perla did my hair + makeup and my bridesmaids HMU and we all had such a great experience. Perla did my hair exactly how I had pictured it and it stayed all night despite lots of dancing! :) I am so thankful for the Adore team and cannot recommend them enough!

like I was wearing any makeup and everything stayed flawless the entire day! Shirley and Terra were absolute rockstars! As I'm planning for my own wedding outside of Austin I'm comparing everyone to this amazing studio! The best hair and makeup I have ever had done!!!

has great technique and product knowledge - I felt like a more beautiful version of myself instead of feeling like the make-up was "caked on." Terra was also great at working with a lot of different hair types and styles. I wouldn't go with anyone else!

All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well- their team also did touch-ups on hair/makeup before leaving which was awesome since some people had their hair done early in the morning. Our wedding was in May and everyone still looked perfect at the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend.

l stunned by Emily's work and how beautiful they felt that day. She really listened to requests about how I wanted my hair done and made it look elegant and beautiful to match my dress style. Beyond the hair and makeup product itself, she spent almost 6 hours with us that day - as people came in and out and socialized - and she was just a joy to have around and tolerated all of the chaos around her with professionalism and grace. She is a must in making your wedding day special and making you and your tribe feel beautiful!

for makeup. Both were absolutely wonderful to work with and did fantastic work! They did hair and makeup for myself, 4 bridesmaids, our flower girl, and the mothers of the bride and groom. A lot of work for sure, but they did a great job on everyone. I was aiming for a more natural look in makeup, which Michael was able to deliver on beautifully. Becky did different hair fit for each of the ladies, and as a result everyone was comfortable and beautiful. Take into account the very reasonable pricing, and they can’t be beat.

On the day of, Paloma and Kelley were EXCELLENT. They not only did a fantastic job with each person's hair and makeup, but were fun to be around while getting ready. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself when Paloma was done with my hair and makeup. Paloma and Kelley even kept the schedule so well that we finished hair and makeup a little early! I really recommend Adore (and specifically Paloma and Kelley)!

Not only were they wonderful artists, they were with us for 5+ hours and were a joy to spend time with. Shirley coordinated the schedule for six of us, and was excellent at communicating everything in advance of the wedding day. I was coming from out of town for my wedding, and wasn't able to do an in-person consultation, but they were able to accommodate helpful virtual consultations, which I really appreciated. I also loved the very helpful "tips and tricks" FAQ sheet they provided ahead of time. Highly recommend!

d they had availability on my wedding day. I hired them to do my hair and make-up for my bridal pictures as well. The make-up trial was amazing! Michelle did a great job. The hair trial could have been a lot better. We ended up running out of time and I was late for my bridal pictures. I reached out to Shirley, the Adore Coordinator, about my experience and she immediately made it right. I had another hair trial with another hair stylist and it went much better. The day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly for the most part. Everyone looked beautiful and it was relatively stress-free. One of my bridesmaids told me that the bridal suite (where we got ready) was the most chill one she’s been a part of and she’s been in like ten weddings. I owe a lot of that to the team at Adore Makeup. My only critique is that the hair artist made an insensitive comment to me, which really upset me. Overall I would still recommend Adore!

s an amazing hair stylist!! She did our daughter Caitlyn’s hair for her Bridal Portrait. She is so sweet and calm! Terra and Perla came to Boerne, TX to do the Wedding hair for the entire Wedding Party on the Wedding day! We all looked so glamorous ( and natural) and all of our hair stayed curled all day in the humid, 100 degree weather!! We can’t say enough about this Salon and the talented stylist there!! ink my wife is the most beautiful person on the planet, but I can fully admit that my brain exploded out of my head when I saw her walking down the aisle. If this was the 1600's, this salon would be on high alert for witch trials because I still don't understand the witchcraft that was done with the Bobby Pins I pulled out my wife's hair for roughly 90 minutes. I don't understand hair and makeup well enough to talk objectively about the service, but I can say as a groom I straight up blacked out from joy when they opened those doors and I saw my wife walking down the aisle.

always made my life so much easier. Not only logistically, but when it was my turn to be a bride, I couldn’t have been more excited or happier to have them do my hair and makeup! Honestly, I had Terra and Shirley do my hair and makeup THREE times in 2 days for 3 different events!! It was so great to have a team I trusted for my friends and family as well. Everyone looked beautiful and I will scream it from the rooftops - they have magic makeup that just stays on no matter how much you sweat and dance! :) They are professional, extremely talented, and just a wonderful group of people. Rhea, Terra and Shirley will always be in my heart for my wedding weekend and such a fun light throughout the weekend that kept me happy and relaxed. Sitting in a hair/makeup chair three times was a lot of hours but worth every second and spending time with them was a part of the weekend I will always remember and cherish.

The worst part though was having to hear from vendors that they were unapologetically refusing to give back any portion of the deposits or be flexible in the slightest -- "too bad, so sad; that's not our interpretation of our contract". This was NOT the case with Adore though. I cannot thank them enough for being the kind people that they are. I may not live the area but we love to visit Austin regularly. They now have another loyal customer and one that sings their praises to my friends and family in Texas. If you are considering them for your wedding or event hair and makeup, you can rest assured that you are doing business with people who have integrity and empathy. Just as importantly, they do a killer job!! Amazing makeup and gorgeous hairstyles. Cannot recommend enough. <3

t Rhea and Sarah helped me nail down a specific look through an easy and fun trial, as well as lots of photo and inspiration sharing. They were both sweet, professional and SO FREAKING talented! I wanted an enhanced natural look (I wanted to look like me, not super glam), and they both nailed it. I wish they could be my beauty squad every day, because I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. (And I think my 7 bridesmaids would say the same about how they felt!) de guidance. I never waited more than 24 hours to get a response from her. I did a hair trial at their studio with Kelsey. I must admit that I am very picky and Kelsey made each tweak as requested and wanted me to leave there with full confidence. On the wedding day, it looked even more stunning than the trial day. She stayed on time and kept us girls laughing and had a great time. The entire team at Adore are professionals and they offer on-site services or you can go to their studio close to downtown.

Moreover they were fun, kind, and easy to work with. Terra and Lauren listened to me to create a flawless look and make me feel like the quintessential beautiful bride. My bridesmaids looked beautiful and effortless. However, my mother looked especially radiant. As a retired naval officer, my mom always look put together and nice, but seldom has an opportunity to get all dolled up. She looked stunning - just stunning. Thank you so much for being part of such a special day for us!

the wedding. Shirley was so responsive and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. I was able to coordinate my hair and makeup trial with my bridal portraits and it lasted all day so I was confident it would look perfect throughout the wedding day. I had my hair and makeup done, along with 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and my grandma. They made sure that each person was happy with their own look, while still fitting in with the natural theme I wanted. And they stayed on time throughout the day - I was amazed that they were able to finish on time with so many people - and we started at 10am, so did not have to wake up super early that morning. My hair and makeup looked fantastic, and lasted throughout the wedding.

mudge. In fact, my photographer even asked about my makeup artist -- no shiny skin or smeared eye makeup during post-ceremony photos! She made me feel right at home in her salon. My sister, aunt and mom say the same. DEFINITELY using her again!

. My mom and I had updos , while my sister had long straight hair which Terra transformed into gorgeous, voluminous curls. Shirley worked on our makeup which was perfect for all our individual tastes ( subtle for me and mom, gorgeous for my sister). Terra and Shirley coordinated perfectly for the three women in our bridal party and we were done in record time. I will recommend Adore to all my family and friends !

doing lots of research, I went with Adore and I am SO GLAD I did!!!!!! They did absolutely fabulous and were so fun to work with. I had Rhea for my makeup and Terra for my hair. They absolutely rocked it. Perla did makeup and hair for a few of my bridesmaids and they all looked perfect! Will definitely be going back to Adore for formal events in the future.

I had a particularly difficult scenario in that we had a Sunday brunch wedding, on daylight savings! However they were professional and such a sweet presence in the morning, they started our day off with joy and made us look bright eyed, fresh and lovely. They were so kind, open to feedback and willing to make your beauty package fit your needs. Shirley’s a master at make up! She will make you look like the best version of yourself and invoke such a confidence because you’ll feel good, both physically and emotionally! Perla is patient and detailed and made our hair last all morning long, despite humidity and some sprinkles! I really enjoy working with them and will definitely be back for some classes!

t I was imagining, but the makeup she uses makes it feel like you're wearing NOTHING - it was comfortable, and at the same time waterproof, smudgeproof, everything proof. Plus, she's hilarious and sweet to boot! We also used Adore for my and my bridesmaid's hair - it all turned out beautifully and lasted the entire night. We had an amazing time all getting done up with Rhea and the team, and it all came out perfectly!

ll night long and my husband tells me how perfect I looked on our wedding day! Erin worked wonders on my updo! I knew I wanted an updo, even before my trial, but I am unfortunately not gifted with long thick hair. Erin talked through the option of hair extensions (which was the best decision) during my trial. I loved my hair on my wedding day, it looked gorgeous with my veil!

me to try out a few other salons. I came back to Adore so and the artist that I had for my trial had been booked so they gave me a complimentary re-trial for makeup. I did not expect them to do that. They were very transparent and accommodating which is one of the reasons I ended up choosing them. Another great thing about Adore is that they were able to travel to my venue since we would be spending the whole weekend there! It is an extra cost but worth it for the convenience and lack of stress. On wedding day Alex and Perla were wonderful. They were talkative, professional and sweet. However they weren't overbearing, the attention was definitely still on the bridal party. They brought all of their own equipment and came ready to go! I made some changes to the makeup and hair style I had done with the trials. Perla and Alex both rolled with the punches and were very helpful in choosing the best looks for my wedding day. The makeup and hair stayed on all day throughout rigorous reception dancing and sweating. However I also didn't feel like my makeup was caked on or I was wearing a helmet of hairspray. It felt natural and accentuating. I'd highly recommend Adore Salon to anyone in the Austin/Hill Country area!

I was also excited because when I cried, you couldn't even tell. Besides just being extremely talented, the Adore Make up and hair team are so fun! None of us wanted to stop talking to them.
