Engagement photos were included in our wedding package, and they were a great way for us to get to know the feeling of being in front of the camera as well as to get to know the photographer. On our wedding day, both of them were super helpful and fit in everything we wanted even though we were running short on time (thanks to an overly complicated wedding dress =)). I haven't received our final shots from the wedding yet, but I am completely confident that they will be everything I could have asked for! If you want to work with a kind, funny, and skilled photographer I highly recommend AJ!

scheduled the session for a Sunday afternoon in November. First, we filled out a questionnaire so AJ and Christine could get to know us and our style/aesthetic before suggesting locations. We were able to bring some props, and AJ and Christine brought a few that complemented what we brought. They ended up photographing us in the Oak Canyon area in Anaheim Hills. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous as we drove the area. We brought a few different outfits and Christine helped us pick out the ones that would work best. When the shoot began, there was a wedding taking place at our designated site. Nonetheless, AJ made the most of what could have been a bad situation. He was a quick thinker and had a good eye for spotting new opportunities. He saw an old wagon on the side of the road, and that made for a great background for our first round of photos. Christine was great about keeping an eye on my hair and other little details. I was able to trust that she would keep us looking good, that way we could focus on being ourselves. Next, we drove a short way to an oak grove at the bottom of a hill. The light shone through the trees to create picturesque shadows for a picnic scene. Some horses nearby started kicking up dust that passed through the sunrays in the background. AJ jumped on that opportunity, told us right where to stand, and knew just what to say to set up some amazing photos. After a quick wardrobe change and a short uphill drive, we found ourselves overlooking a vast canyon as the sun continued to set. The lighting in the canyon made for an amazing background. AJ also caught some of the most romantic sunset moments that you only see in magazines and movies. It was a total “Princess Bride” moment. Normally, I'm not a fan of getting my picture taken. I never feel like I look like myself. Maybe I'm too self-conscious when I'm being photographed. However, with AJ and Christine, both JP and I felt so comfortable that we were just able to be ourselves and have fun. I felt like that was totally captured in the photos. Anyone can take a pretty picture, but it takes a talented photographer to capture a genuine moment. Some of the most genuine and authentic photos were taken when we didn’t even know the camera was watching. AJ was a total photo ninja. Even though we “won” the photo session, the session and the photos themselves were totally worth the price they would have been. Even though we weren’t paying for the shoot, AJ still gave us the royal treatment. He’s definitely someone who enjoys, takes pride in and stands by his work. Our shoot lasted at least 3 hours and it wasn’t done until the sun was completely set. Even as we were walking down the hill, back to our cars, anytime AJ saw a chance, he would continue taking pictures. This was an incredible experience and now we have these stunning photos that we can look at for the rest of our lives. Thank you, AJ and Christine!

me for our engagement pictures. I was not able to express the details in words but AJ nailed it right on the spot without me having to say much. My husband (Fiance at that time) and I were both extremely nervous. AJ and Christine were both amazing by making us feel soooo comfortable. After a while, we felt like natural celebs! He is so detail oriented and will keep shooting until he gets the perfect shot. His patience, personality, knowledge and incredible skills allowed us to have amazing and memorable pictures which we are so grateful for. He provided us with quality pictures in a such a good timeframe as well. Our pictures came out amazing and 6 of them were displayed at our wedding in huge poster sizes which looked so crisp and clear. We couldnt have asked for a better photographer!!
