Adventure and Vow is an award-winning adventure elopement photography team for couples who want their wedding day to feel deeply personal, wildly meaningful, and completely true to them. We believe your wedding day should be built on intention rather than obligation. Maybe your relationship has been shaped by road trips, long days on the trail, nights under the stars, climbing together, traveling the world, or simply finding a sense of home in nature with each other. Your elopement should honor the life you’ve already built together while creating one of the most meaningful memories of your marriage. We photograph and help plan adventure elopements throughout Washington, Alaska, Moab, Arizona, the Eastern Sierras, and destinations around the world including Iceland, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the Dolomites. But Adventure and Vow is about much more than beautiful photographs in incredible places. From the beginning, we work closely with every couple to create an elopement experience that feels intentional from start to finish. We help you discover locations that fit your vision, navigate permits and marriage logistics, build a timeline around the best light and privacy, connect with trusted vendors, prepare for changing weather, plan meaningful activities, and create a ceremony that actually feels like you. Many of the locations we recommend have been personally hiked, explored, driven, climbed, or scouted by our team. Before your elopement, we scout again so you can arrive knowing the details have already been considered. On your wedding day, our approach is relaxed, supportive, and emotionally attuned. We know when to offer direction and when to step back and let a moment unfold. We want your photographs to feel natural because the moments themselves were real—not because you spent your wedding day performing for a camera. Our photography is focused on connection, emotion, movement, and the landscape around you. Every image is hand-edited with rich, true-to-life color so your photographs feel timeless and honest to what the day actually looked and felt like. Adventure and Vow was founded in 2018, and our team brings more than 41 years of combined photography experience. We have planned and photographed more than 200 elopements—from quiet mountaintop ceremonies and intimate days with family to multi-day adventures involving backpacking, climbing, helicopters, floatplanes, kayaking, off-roading, skiing, and nights beneath the stars. Every elopement package includes hands-on planning support, intentional questionnaires, location guidance, timeline creation, permit and logistical assistance, ceremony support, in-person scouting, FAA-certified drone coverage where permitted, sneak peek images, and a private gallery delivered within six weeks.
