That’s why when we read Adventure Photo Stories’ philosophy about not trying to be perfect, and her honesty about how if you are looking for “perfection” she might not be the best fit for your event, we were sold. Genuine: that’s what describes Rachel as a photographer and what describes us as a couple. Genuine is what we wanted our wedding to be, and Rachel captured it better than we could’ve ever imagined. She did our engagement pictures and made it so easy for us, two shy people that had never taken professional pictures before. She climbed on a sail boat with two cameras to get the best shots of us and our dog. The day of our wedding, she made sure she captured every detail. She disappeared for a few minutes to find the best spot for our first look pictures. She gave direction in such a fun way that it makes you feel like it’s your friend taking your pictures. During the ceremony she was basically invisible: non of that non-sense of being in the way and distracting from what is important. She made sure she was on top of every fun thing happening and that we would have a true story of what occurred that day. Oh and also: you know how many DAYS it took Rachel to give us our edited pictures: 5! 5 days after our wedding we had our pictures ready to download, order prints, show to our family and friends... her speed is unheard of, and it doesn’t compromise quality. She was so easy to work with, she goes above and beyond, even if it means stepping out of her role as photographer and being your friend to calm you down on your big day or during the planning. We could go on and on bragging about her, but probably we made our point that Rachel is BY FAR the best photographer and definitely the best choice we could’ve made for what we wanted. You’ll never regret working with her because she will make you feel confident, comfortable and valued as a customer! So professional and so talented: Adventure Photo Stories is the way!

This may sound a bit cheesy, but the "stories" part of the company name is true; looking back through our photos, it's easy to see that Rachel told the story of our day. She was so easy to work with, was always available by text or phone call, and went above and beyond the traditional role of "photographer" in helping me plan out the timeline of the big day, what photos to prioritize, and giving advice on planning out the details! I am beyond thrilled with our photos and have sung Rachel's praises to everyone I know getting married.

w incredibly talented, kind, and patient Rachel is. She had her assistant, Andrea, who was an even bigger help. Both these ladies were such a breath of fresh air with their humor, kindness, and easy-going personalities. Rachel is professional and organized! Before the wedding we had at least 1 skype meeting about details of the wedding, pricing, etc. The website she uses that contains all the wedding details, packages, and photos, were great. She responds to emails in a timely and was always available to answer our questions. Throughout the wedding day, Rachel and Andrea were such a big help. Our guest and families loved them!
