We were having our wedding in PA and living in CA and knew that getting a reliable and professional wedding planner to help with making our dream a reality was essential. We looked...
at many reviews and decided on Ambiance hoping that they would fit our needs. Boy were we wrong. At first, things seemed great and Kelly was very responsive. Then, as time went on, there continued to be handfuls of unanswered/unreturned calls/texts/emails in the months leading up to our big day. When we did have calls scheduled, there were a number of them that were cancelled by her with little to no notice. It was frustrating being across the country with no access to the person that is supposed to be your lifeline for your wedding. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, we decided all would be forgiven and we can get past any issues and still have best day we could ever imagine. Also, we figured it would be much easier to communicate since we can meet face to face. However, the first thing Kelly does is try to cancel our first meeting the Monday of our wedding week when the wedding is that Friday. I have never met this person face to face and my bride only once before. She had promised the entire week would be for us to work on all wedding things by her side and now she was backing out of the first meeting. Sadly, the rest of the week was no better. There were so many things that were done wrong or just not done at all it was infuriating. She was supposed to send us pictures of the flowers throughout the week to approve but we did not see any flowers until the day of the wedding as she was still putting them together in the garage. She told a bridesmaid that she sent an example of a bouquet to my bride the night before, but that was not the case. The bridesmaids can attest to that since they were staying with my bride the night before the wedding. Flowers we paid for were missing from the ceremony. We ordered large bouquets for our alter but instead, Kelly used potted plants from the property we were renting in front of the alter instead of what was outlined in our contract. She never contacted any of our vendors to coordinate with them about the wedding. She did not even introduce herself to our photographer. But then again, she also didn’t speak more than a few words to my bride on the day of the wedding either. We were told that we would be the only wedding for the week of our wedding, but according to another review on another site, she did another wedding the next day. I could fill the rest of this review outlining everything done wrong by this vendor for us and I have a couple pages of paper listing it all to prove it, but since we can’t get back our wedding day, perhaps we can save another couple the heartbreak that we endured.
I think of the world of Kelly Moore! She is absolutely amazing and I sincerely wish I knew about her when we planned my other daughter's wedding. She is the BEST event planner/flor...
al designer ever! We had some challenging circumstances and many moving parts from start to finish and Kelly handled them all with ease and ALWAYS went above and beyond in every situation. Kelly frequently had things completed before I knew they had to be done. She handled all parts of the wedding for us as well as my daughter's bridal shower and flowers for both events. I absolutely could not have done this without her! I not only recommend her for all of the above mentioned services, I encourage people to CALL KELLY at Ambiance Event Planning and Floral Design!
Kelly functioned as the day-of coordinator for my recent wedding and her help was truly invaluable before, during and after the wedding. Just to name a few ways she assisted: --Cre...
ating a timeline --Organizing and transporting decor, favors, programs, etc for ceremony and reception --Providing emergency kits, etc. --Decorating the reception venue -- favors, seating cards, gift box, plus beautiful personal touches all around! --Cleaning up after the ceremony and reception--evening transporting my dress, top layer of cake, extra supplies. She returned the tuxes too! She even brought white flowers and pinned them in my hair once I took off my veil after the ceremony! Really, above and beyond. I am so grateful for all her help. She made the day more fun and easy for me without having to worry about, or assign others to worry about, these various tasks. Plus she's so sweet and funny. I really trusted her and it was comforting to know she was on top of everything while I was celebrating with my guests.
Poor Communication. Mostly delivered what we expected, but didn't exceed any expectations. We chose Kelly because of her initial enthusiasm and ability to do what others told us ...
they could not. For the most part after a very stressful several months, we did get the beautiful flowers that we wanted, however not everything was how we were told it would be. There were several times that we were worried we wouldn't have any flowers and it took weeks to get replies. We only hired Kelly for her florist services and were told that we'd have had more attention if we had hired her as a planner as well...
Kelly was such a pleasure to work with for my wedding! She truly helped make the ideas and visions I had of my wedding into a reality! She listens to everything and gets to know yo...
u as a person. She truly enjoys her work and it shows. Her work was spectacular.!!!! She developed a palate of colors and textures that were breath taking. The days up to the wedding she made sure to go over everything in detail and her staff executed everything perfectly even with the wedding being in New York. The night before the wedding she texted me pictures and sneak peaks of the bridal bouquet to ensure the bouquet would be everything I imagined. On the morning of the wedding my bridesmaid answered the door and for a few minutes just stared at the bouquets because they were so beautiful. The table arrangements with gold candelabras, lanterns, candles and beautiful glass jars overflowing with flowers and gorgeous colors and a floating cake table and big full flowers on every place setting made for such an elegant and wonderful evening. The only thing I regret is not booking Kelly sooner so that she could have been my wedding planner in addition to the floral designs!!!
Ambiance handled my flowers & coordination for my wedding. We were so happy with everything, I can not express how thrilled we were with our choice to hire them. We did not have t...
o do anything for our wedding day, just show up and party!
Kelly was absolutely perfect. We used her for our flowers including our flowers for the church, bridal party flowers and our centerpieces. They were absolutely gorgeous!! She even ...
sent me pictures the night before as she was preparing them which was awesome. She also was at the church and got all the flowers pinned on the groomsmen so it wasn't a disaster trying to get them to do it. Also, her and her staff were amazing at the reception. They basically did all the things you don't feel like doing when your the bride (collecting all the centerpieces and gifts and taking them back to our room). My family (esp. my Dad) said how amazing they were and helpful in any aspect needed. She exceeded my expectations and literally made the flowers picture perfect and my perfect dream.
Kelly was BY FAR the best money spent of my entire wedding. My husband and I decided to have our fall wedding at a new location near our hometown. I, unfortunately, was not one of ...
those girls who have had their wedding planned since they were a child, so the entire process seemed incredibly overwhelming to me. Luckily, I had heard about Kelly from a friend and decided to reach out to her. We hired her for both planning and the floral/decor. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with every choice we made, and vendor we booked. Even though we had talked often about the details of what the ceremony and reception decor would look like, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it firsthand. It was better than I could have ever imagined, and guest are STILL talking about how beautiful everything was! She made the whole planning process as easy and seamless as possible, and the whole day went off without a hitch (at least to my knowledge!) She truly is an incredible planner and I would recommend her for ANY event planning, especially a wedding.
As a groom, I didn't a lot to do with the wedding planning. My wife was more than happy to look at flowers, cake, and seating arrangements with just a few thumbs up every now and a...
gain from me. Kelly was our wedding planner and she made the entire process so easy. She made it fun for my wife to pick out things she wanted and kept her from going down that path to Bridezilla that I've seen far too many go down. My wife had the luxury of ENJOYING her wedding day because Kelly took care of all of the details. Thank you Kelly, for giving us that day. It was something I will never forget and I can not thank you enough for helping my wife and I plan the wedding she deserved.
Kelly from Ambiance Floral was fantastic from the start of my planning right up until the end of the reception. Although I did not use her for wedding planning services, it was alm...
ost as if she was one of my coordinators. She helped all the designers stay on the same page, and was even present throughout the wedding if we needed anything. Kelly's flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I just showed her some pictures of what I envisioned for bouquets/centerpieces, and she was able to create even more beautiful arrangements than were in the photos....and all while in staying within our budget. Our guests were raving about the floral arrangements in the church, our bouquets, cake table floral display, and especially the centerpiece arrangements she let the guests take home. Everything was exquisite, and Kelly was a dream to work with. I would definitely recommend Ambiance Florals to future brides!!!
