Hey, I'm Diego. I'm a San Antonio wedding photographer who specializes in guided documentary style photography. That means I capture real, unscripted moments as they happen, with just enough direction to make the photos look incredible without making anyone feel stiff or uncomfortable.
I've been shooting weddings for over 5 years now, 50+ weddings across San Antonio, the Hill Country, Austin, and beyond. I've learned that the best photos come when everyone is comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely having a good time. That's why I make it a point to connect with you and your guests, not just point a camera at them.
What makes me different? I actually become part of your day. I'll dance with your guests, crack jokes with your wedding party, and text you back at 11pm when you're stressed about your timeline. I'm calm, organized, and I match whatever energy the day brings.
I'm happily married myself, so I know firsthand what goes into planning a wedding. I keep things simple and fun because you've got enough on your plate. My job is to take one big thing off your list and hand you back a gallery full of moments you'll want to relive forever.

From the start, Diego’s communication was exceptional. He took time to understand our vision, came prepared with a detailed shot list, and made everything seamless. On the wedding day, he traveled between three locations, kept us on schedule, and adjusted when my niece became sick and had to leave early, ensuring we still got the most important shots.
Despite the freezing mist, Diego never complained. He captured every moment beautifully and even helped coordinate guests to keep the ceremony flowing. His presence was calm and reassuring, and he treated our wedding like it was the most important day of his life.
His artistry is unmatched. Every image feels alive, filled with movement and emotion. Our rainbow-themed wedding was a challenge in misty conditions, but Diego made every color pop vibrantly. We were literally the rainbow in the clouds, and he captured that magic perfectly. When the cold prevented us from finishing family portraits outside, he quickly added them during the reception.
