Affair Hair by...Tanesha

Tanesha was awesome to work with. We did a trial run of my hair styles a few months before the wedding and I couldn't have been happier with her work! She is so kind and easy to talk to and does fantastic work! You can not go wrong with her....trust me!

Tanesha is great to work with, very energetic and super sweet. She did a great job on my hair and my sister's, the MOH. I also recommend booking her early because she is very popular. My hair did not move all day from 9am to 11pm. My sister's hair also looked fabulous all day. And she comes to you, which was great because I needed her at 7:30am on a Sunday, which would have been impossible if I wanted a salon. You will not go wrong if you book her!

I planned my Charleston wedding from Pittsburgh and was completely dependent on my planner for references. She did not steer me wrong with Tanesha. I first met Tanesha when I came into town for my engagement photo shoot. I knew Tanesha was great when we bonded over our love of celebrity gossip. However, back to the hair . . . Tanesha gave me the first updo that didn’t remind me of prom. It was soft, romantic and, most important to me, didn’t move an inch. She then did my hair down for the photo shoot which didn’t fall flat even in the South Carolina humidity. The day of the wedding Tanesha came to our hotel and did the hair for myself, my maid of honor, my mother, my mother-in-law and my ten-year-old step-daughter. She made everyone from the mothers – who have typical “mom hair” – to my ten-year-old step-daughter – with hair almost down to her waist – look and feel beautiful. And, for my hair she replicated everything we did in the trial run. It stayed in place until well past the end of our after party. Tanesha was fabulous and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

Tanesha was amazing. She spent almost two hours with me in my consultation and three different styles before we decided on one. She came to where we were getting ready and made the day much easier.

I recently got married and Tanesha the hair goddess did an amazing updo for my special day! Although we had a run through 4 months before my wedding I changed my mind last minute and was only able to send her picture of my new look. On my wedding day in April she styled my hair perfectly (even better than the picture). She was so easy to work with and even talked me through a melt down when a local hair dresser cut bangs merely 3 months before my big day. She was great with my bridesmaids as well and is so easy going and nice. If you are a Charleston bride and want FABULOUS hair then look no further, Affair Hair by Tanesha is the best! I was very hesitant about getting my hair done because it has NEVER looked good when I've had it "fixed" for other weddings or events. OMG - Tanesha did such an amazing job and I will never go to anyone else if I need my hair done. I am SO GLAD I went with Tanesha!! It looked natural and beautiful and I loved loved loved it. I went to Tanesha with a couple of pics, none of which were exactly right, and gave her a vague description of what I wanted. She knew exactly what I meant and my hair looked better than I have EVER seen it. I would definitely reccomend going in for a trial run because it was such a great feeling on the wedding day to have no anxiety at all about what it was going to look like! I was completely relaxed while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready because I already knew what a fabulous job Tanesha was going to do. I wish I could have my hair done everyday! :) Also, Tanesha is so fun that having her around the day we were getting ready just made the time feel that much more like a party! She is absolutely the best and you will not regret having her as part of your big day! My reccomendation would be book Tanesha and her friend and unbelieveabley talented makeup artist, Elizabeth Quinton at eqmakeup, and you will be so glad you did. Both of these ladies did such an amazing job and were so much fun! It was so wonderful to have a relaxing morning getting ready knowing that these two are going to make you look so good! You will be so happy you did!

Tanesha was so fantastic! She did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and my wedding. She was able to do unique styles for each of my bridesmaids, and we were all so happy with her work. I actually did not wear a veil, so my hair was really important to me. My hair and Tanesha were amazing, and I highly recommend her.
