e was the place to host our wedding ceremony and reception. Katrin, Martin, and the staff are the epitome of hospitality. They did everything possible to provide us with our dream wedding and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Katrin’s assistance regarding planning and preparing for the event couldn’t have been easier. Even when we had unexpected changes or my ideas shifted, she reassured me about things and was able to accommodate. She was prompt to answer questions, had wonderful suggestions, and went above and beyond to ensure the process, and the day of, ran flawlessly. Martin and the culinary team executed the food perfectly, all the way down to our gorgeous wedding cake. The serving staff and rest of team were incredibly professional and did an amazing job. MY FAMILY’S THOUGHTS: My sisters worked with Affare the day of, preparing for the event and setting up all our décor. When I arrived everything was perfect. My sister later told me about how impressed she was with the staff and Katrin from the moment she arrived to when she was packing up. My sister is in the hospitality industry and went on about this being the best example of hospitality she has encountered regarding everyone going above and beyond. Providing me plenty of examples: helping unload, cutting down a cork to seal our sand ceremony frame when the cork went missing, providing a sippy cup for my crying nephew... My entire family was impressed and we will all be recommending Affare for future events. We can’t express enough gratitude to Katrin, Martin, and the staff for making our day, and the usually stressful process of getting there, easy and amazing. OUR WEDDING: We decided on a Sunday afternoon brunch celebration. The ceremony was outside in the beautiful courtyard against the blue brick wall that made a great backdrop and perfect place for our altar. Hor’ dourves of pretzel sandwiches, shrimp, and ham wrapped dates. Beverages included cherry limeades for the kids and mimosas & bloody mary bar for the adults. A served brunch in the private dining room. The cake was white chocolate raspberry and we had mini desserts. We ended the celebration with our favorite bottle of port that we drink every time we eat at the restaurant. All of the food was delicious. The cake and desserts are talked about frequently by our guests. We were so happy to share such a special day and place with our closest loved ones.

was the only place that we wanted to celebrate with our family and friends after our "I dos". Katrin and Martin have fully put their hearts into their establishment, and it truly shows. My husband and I really like that the restaurant is family owned and ran. Katrin is a very knowledgeable and experienced sommelier and handles the front of the house, and Martin is the executive chef and takes care of the back of the house. As for our wedding dinner reception specifically, it went perfectly. The private dining room in which we had the reception was beautifully decorated by the staff, the food was phenomenal and guests raved, the wine was amazing, and the wait staff exceptional. We cannot say enough good things about Affare. Affare has became our special spot that we will always continue to dine at while visiting our new, dear friends Katrin and Martin.

erything was perfect. Our ceremony itself was held on their beautiful patio and was followed by a reception with over 100 people in the dining room. From the food, to the wine, to the room itself we could not have asked for a more successful and well put together event. Katrin ensured that every little thing went off without a hitch. There was literally no stone left unturned and there were zero surprises the day of our wedding and reception, thanks in large part to the thoroughness of Katrin and her team.
