ridal party order (bridal & bridesmaids’ bouquets and groom & groomsmen’s boutonnieres). The bride’s bouquet was very pretty, but we were expecting it to be a bit larger (thus the 4-star review). The bride specifically asked that the arrangement be large enough so that the stems were not shown when it was held (it was one of her only requests). The bouquet did show the stems and was not as large as expected. We would definitely use Carly & Affordable Arrangements again, but perhaps ask for a picture of what the arrangement will look like so there are no surprises.

e off to meet with vendors as I was going through the hiring process. Carly was willing to have an initial consultation over the phone with me to talk about my vision. I told her I wanted rustic, blush and sage colors, and lots of greenery to fit our venue. She started by having me state everything that I wanted and we can always go back after and remove anything that doesn't work in our budget. Before I found Carly, I was growing frustrated with other florists who didn't really grasp the idea that we had a very strict floral budget and we couldn't spend an arm and a leg on flowers. Carly was so accommodating by making sure she found flowers that were in season and giving us a line item proposal with the costs of each item. Carly was always really responsive and quick to come up with new ideas when I had second thoughts about 6 months before the big day on my color scheme. Thankfully I stuck with my original plan because it turned out so well. She even found us a rental company to provide the milk glass centerpiece vases I was set on having for our wedding.
Carly did the most wonderful job. I gasped when I saw my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets because they were so beautiful and beyond anything I could have ever imagined myself. She actually emailed me about a week before my wedding to ask if I wanted to incorporate some blush peonies at no extra cost because she had a bunch left and didn't ant them to go to waste. I am so thankful to her for that because peonies are one of my favorite flowers but I knew they were expensive and I didn't think we could afford them. Everything was absolutely stunning and she executed my vision better than I could have ever imagined. I would recommend Affordable Arrangements to anyone!

She made pomander balls for us to use as isle decorations for the ceremony, which we also re-used as centerpieces. They came out beautifully and lasted all day and then some. I enjoyed many of my wedding flowers for a week after the wedding before trying to save some for a scrapbook. Carly also created a beautiful alter decoration for me out of tulle, creating a large rosette with tulle that flowed out to the side. I was nervous how this would turn out, as it was something she hadn't done before, but it was beautiful! I would highly recommend Carly for your wedding flowers. She is personable, affordable, and her arrangements are beautiful!

Carly understood my vision right away, and seemed genuinely happy to work with me. My first meeting with her made me even more excited for my wedding day after she helped layout how the ceremony, reception room and bouquets would look like. Flowers went from a low priority to something I was most excited to see. The other vendors tried to up-sell and add fancy flowers that didn't fit with what I was showing them.
Throughout the whole process Carly was very friendly, professional and always prompt with responses.

our budget. Her work definitely is "affordable"... And excellent! She did altar arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for us. They were all lovely, with bold colors (from flowers she grows herself in Virginia!) and they stayed together well -- no lost corsages or boutonnieres! We would sometimes have to wait a couple of days to get a reply from Carly, but never a period of time that was worrisome. I definitely recommend her!

d amenable. The only issue I had was that my bridesmaids' bouquets (made of hydrangeas) barely made it through the ceremony and by the time we reached photos, they had started to wilt. By the time the reception occurred, their bouquets were no longer useable. My bouquet (made of roses), however, was fantastic and lasted all night with no problem.

All the flowers were perfect... the guys boutonnières, the bouquets, centerpieces, flowers for our moms, and all the accent pieces. Everything was fresh and in full bloom (some are still blooming on my counter a week later).
Carly was even able to add a few last minute flowers (as in, the day before I asked for more, she made it happen!)
For comparisons sake, I was told a friends wedding flower budget was the same as mine. She got her bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, and 3 boutonnières, and 1 alter arrangement. I got my bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, 12 boutonnières, 2 moms bouquets, flower girl petals, 9 centerpieces, an alter piece, and several smaller items for the cake, buffet table, and guest book table.
Carly also made 2 deliveries to my venue so that the girls would have their flowers in time for pictures, and then a second delivery after the caterer was there for set-up.
Will definitely use Affordable Arrangements in the future.

She was willing to allow me to provide all of the flower vessels, as opposed to renting them, and she suggested that we recycle the bouquets as centerpieces for some of the tables in order to save on cost and flowers.
I was worried about the flowers meshing with the rest of our DIY decor, since I had provided her little inspiration, and hardly any color guidance. I was floored when I walked into the venue and saw how perfectly the flowers matched my vision. They were exactly what I had wanted, but hadn't been able to express to her. They were simple, yet beautiful. I would definitely recommend using Affordable Arrangements for your event!
