Hello, my name is Dennis Chaney (DJ D) of Afford-A-DJ, based in Hamilton, OH. I consider it a privilege to play weddings for people. I started Afford-A-DJ to help people get more for their money. I'm always there early and the last to leave. My price even includes playing the ceremony if needed. One thing I don't do is charge for setup time or tear-down time, only charging for the hours played. I do, however, charge extra for weddings over 25 miles from home. With 2 portable PA units, one with a wireless microphone, I can do ceremonies even where there is no electricity. I will put together an itinerary, a playlist, captains call, announcements, and an MC for the night. I have a great sound system, some over-the-top lights, and wireless mics for the announcements. I've been playing music for most of my life, and I like giving people a DJ who does everything at a reasonable rate.

Back in the 60's I was a speed skater, so I know my way around a skating rink. While being at the rink pretty much all the time, as I got older I started floor guarding and playing the music. This came natural to me, so I did it all the time. Music became a part of my life all the way to the present. The 70's was the best rock, the 80's the best dance music, and now some of the new stuff is good also. As a Dj I can play which ever genre or music you wish to hear, or I have go to music that get people dancing. As you can tell I've been doing this in some form or another for a long time, Thanks.

Dennis worked with our coordinator and vendors and made sure every announcement was timed perfectly, his audio sounded great, very clear easy to understand, the right amount of volume. He had every song we requested, even some obscure ones. His prices are very affordable, and I feel like I got a lot more for the money than I would have from most DJs.
