We are an exciting Latin orchestra, but are well versed in playing all your favorite English hits that you want to hear at your wedding! Once we are booked, we will sit down and customize your wedding to your liking. We'll ensure that everyone is on the same page with what music you want to hear at your wedding and make it happen. We are capable of providing DJ, Sound engineer, and photography/videography services. We're your one stop shop and will make sure your dance floor is packed and moving all night long!!

When planning our wedding, we knew that we had to make sure we had great food, amazing drinks and awesome music! We come form a Mexican/Puerto Rican background. While planning, we ...
thought it would be great to have some Latin Jazz play during our dinner so that it wouldn’t be your typical classical style music. We also knew we wanted Salsa music for everyone to dance to. We could have achieved this with a DJ, but there’s something about hearing the live instruments and seeing the energy our all the musicians perform that makes something as simple as music, memorable!
We connected with Afinca’o in 2019 and were planning a 2020 wedding. Needless to say, COVID halted all plans. Joe from Afinca’o was super understanding and very supportive throughout the entire time, every so often checking in on us. We appreciate how Joe took the time to go with us to the Final walk thorough of our venue to lock in some final details.
We are now about a month past our wedding day and we are still receiving great compliments on how awesome it was to have a Live Salsa Band! They didn’t disappoint! Afinca’o is an awesome band that continue to innovate their sound. We personally want to thank Joe and the entire band for all their hard work in making our day memorable.

ilies and our friends keep remarking at how great our band and DJ were (they offer to include a DJ and full sound system with their wedding package - well worth it!). Joe was responsive and did a pre wedding walk through with us, was laid back and accommodating, and completely on top of ensuring everything went off without a hitch. Really when it comes to salsa bands and honestly bands in general in the Chicago area, it is hard to imagine there is better value for the quality and professionalism you get with Afinca’o. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

They played our 2 hour cocktail, but by the end of their third set the crowd was chanting for an encore. They brought down the house, and the dance floor was full throughout the afternoon. I would hire them for any party, any time! By far one of the highlights of our wedding weekend.

They set up and disbanded without any flaws and made sure to take care of all introductions for our wedding party. After the band played for a few hours they also provided DJ services as we danced the night away.
I would highly recommend Afinca'o for any event, wedding or other professional event. We also booked them for our upcoming Puerto Rican Bar Association Annual Banquet in October 2013.
Their band members are very professional and provide a lively night of Latin music that will be sure to be the talk of your party or event!
