He’s a super organized guy and broke every single detail down for me (which really helped my stress levels!) My wedding ended up being beyond what I dreamed it to be. Dave did both my ceremony and reception music, and did such a wonderful job with it all. I had a very short wedding, but regardless, all of my music requests were made and everyone had such a fun time! I’m so glad I booked with Afino! You really won’t regret it if you choose him!

ionnaire that covered what music we wanted for all the different parts of our wedding. Once I saw how thorough this was, I instantly knew I was in good hands. On our call to review the questionnaire, he asked good questions and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted (and didn't want). We had lots of specific requests (for example, starting some songs at a certain timecode, placing the speakers in a specific area, playing a special cut down version of a song and not the version from Spotify). He took note of every last detail and executed everything flawlessly. He played every song we listed on his questionnaire and set the perfect mood for the entire evening. Thanks to him, our first dance was a huge hit! My husband and I had spent six months working on a complicated choreographed first dance, and the song we chose has very low audio in the beginning. We were afraid we wouldn’t be able to hear our cues (which would throw off the entire dance), so we mentioned to Dave that this was really important to us. He took the time to listen to the song beforehand and he knew exactly what we meant. He made sure the beginning was loud and clear and even gave us a little nod to tell us it was starting. He's also a magician when it comes to getting the energy up and bringing people to the dance floor. Our speeches ran long so we were behind schedule, but even given the limited time, Dave got all the guests out on the dance floor right away and everyone had a blast. He also (very kindly) wrangled my entire wedding party and organized their entrance into the reception. He didn't have to do this, but it was incredibly helpful. Also, during my maid of honor’s speech, she mentioned that we had taken a road trip to see a boy band together, and I'm pretty sure Dave played a song by that boy band later on in the evening! It was such a special touch and just another example of how thoughtful he is. It is clear he loves what he does. I can't say enough good things about him! He is so sweet and talented, and because he's so experienced, he has lots of helpful guidance and ideas. I am very grateful for all his hard work. Dave, thank you for making our day so special and unforgettable!

He follows up with a detailed questionnaire regarding the music and events for the day and then consults with you again to review it, and offers more suggestions to make the day go as smoothly as possible and of course to maximize the fun! He literally helped me customize a playlist that I was unsure how to go about designing, crafted my wedding timeline with me down to the half hour, and suggested creative ways to end the night (not to mention he's also just fun to chat with, like an old friend!). He's highly professional, super responsive, thoughtful, reliable and just an awesome DJ. He is also very eclectic and versatile when it comes to music, so he can easily DJ for any type of audience. I highly recommend Afino Entertainment!

We had a lot of questions and he answered them completely. We felt more at ease after speaking with Dave and I trusted completely that everything would just go perfectly. My friends and family have been raving about Dave since the night of our wedding. There was a great flow of music throughout the night and it kept everyone on the dance floor. I was always so excited to see that he made a short video of the entire day. Of him setting up the event ,and all the hard work he put into it, to pieces of our vows, dancing, and the ending of an amazing night!

He provided specs, pics, and traded cell numbers. I joked, at one point on the phone, that I was just going to ignore him all night long and enjoy my wedding and he honestly told me I should: It was his job to make my guests happy and it was my job to enjoy my day. Boy was he right. Dave put together an instrumental playlist for the ceremony that had my guests asking for a copy the instant cocktail hour started and had the dance floor PACKED all night long. My friends and family had a blast. The real kicker? I didn't get to meet him until after cocktail hour! I'm glad I ignored him (and I say that in the fondest of ways!). That he was the Hand of the Queen all night, I have no doubt.

It was a hot day and the air conditioning broke at our venue. Despite the heat, Dave managed to get our guests on the dance floor to sweat even more! His recap video was quite touching as well.

DJ Afino was cordial and professional in his response that I read online to that review, so I knew he was something special. We had conference calls and communication through e-mail was super easy. He aced everything that I threw at him including changes with only hours (and minutes) notice. Everyone loved the music. He read the crowd and played music that got everyone dancing. A++++

September of 2017' when we married one another and it was the best day/night of our lives!. The music during the ceremony, cock-tail hour and reception were exactly what we had planned!. Dave is a great/active listener and very attentive when it comes to exactly what songs you'd like to play throughout each part of your wedding day. I was very impressed with how much time and dedication he took out of his schedule to meet with us and answer any questions we had leading up to the big day. He's never late to a meeting and always gives you a clear understanding of what to expect when hiring him. What stands out about Dave is that he is a creative soul and he isn't afraid to help you come up with unique/realistic ideas. I wanted to surprise my wife during our first dance with something different. I'm a musician and wanted to incorporate that somehow within the song we decided to dance to. I decided to pre-record myself playing the drums to our first dance song and then while dancing with her during our first dance, I'd run out of the venue. At that point, Dave would be responsible for projecting my pre-recroded video onto the big TV screen for the whole party to see. Dave helped me understand exactly how he'd be able to make this idea I had come to life. On the day of the wedding, Dave executed this plan flawlessly and made my wife so happy that she cried! It was a spectacular moment that I'll never forget. I'll never use another DJ Entertainment Company again!

om, it was contagious. We got his card at the end of the night and kept him in mind when we were planning our wedding. Our wedding was planned to be just a dinner party with 7 courses. We wanted a DJ to not only play music during the courses but also make the down time between courses more fun. From our first conversation with Dave, we knew we had our man. He knew exactly what we were trying to do and loved it. We went through all the songs we thought would be correct for the vibe and he built off that. The main thing we stressed to him was to feel out the room and play what the room wanted to hear. Once the dinner started, he played slower music to get people into the dinner feel then once the drinks started to flow, he played more and more upbeat songs (but didn’t force it). What started off as a dinner party became a full blown dance party. At the event he was professional, on time, had a great setup and knew what to do and when. We had several guests tell us the DJ was perfect and they asked where we found him. I cannot thank Dave enough for his enthusiasm, professionalism and skill as a DJ. We would highly recommend him for any event.
