Hi I'm Amy! Being artistic with floral has fueled my passion in life. I'm excited to be able to wake up each day doing something that I love. I especially enjoy working with tropical flowers and have developed a niche in this specialty. Our logo the bird of paradise represents paradise and freedom, which is our mantra, to be free doing what you love, creating your own paradise.
Afloral Concept has a special love for the tropical flowers and enjoy working with those exotics. Whatever your style is from garden flowers to tropical, our dedicated team looks forward to the opportunity to use our creative talents to design dramatic flowers that exemplify you. Afloral Concept is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and we work all over the state and beyond.

Amy was undeniably amazing as a florist for my wedding. Above and beyond my expectations. The centerpieces were full, had variety, artful, tasteful, and exactly what I asked for. She also did 4 very large, high ceiling beams in my venue wrapped in greenery, string lights, and hanging wisteria that took everyone’s breath away.
She had quick response times, was friendly, and took care of any venue requirements well beforehand.

Amy is the absolute best! So personable and professional! She really knows her stuff and her creativity and passion are evident through the beautiful arrangements she creates. She knows what flowers work together well and she took my half baked idea and turned it into something better than I could ever imagined! She is so helpful and dedicated, she even drove to my house in the middle of a snow storm to drop off part of our order we forgot to pick up from her! She guides you through the process like a true professional-which is exactly what she is! The flowers for my wedding were so memorable thanks to Amy and all of her hard work. If you are searching for a florist, stop searching because Amy is the best one!!

Amy was amazing to work with and she's so nice! She's very responsive and really works with you and listens to what you want! She made honestly the most beautiful bouquets I've ever seen and I'm so grateful to have had them for my wedding! They were exactly what I was looking for and SO many people said how beautiful they were! I will for sure be ordering from Amy again the next time I need flowers! She also gave us some flowers for our tiny cutting cake, and she did an amazing job on the boutonnieres, corsages, and the toss bouquet looked exactly like one of the bridesmaids bouquets! It was just as beautiful! Also, we were surprised that she made the grooms boutonniere magnetic but that actually was perfect because that meant the grooms mother (who has really bad arthritis in her hands) was able to actually put his boutonniere on him for the photos. The magnet later broke but luckily Amy also included an extra pin to convert it if needed. It worked out perfectly!

I cannot even begin to describe how great was to work with Amy!! She asked us a million questions to make sure that every single detail for the wedding was exactly like we dreamed it. She was absolutely delightful to work with and saved me when I forgot to bring enough floating candles for the centerpieces. She immediately ran home and made sure I had them. The flowers were also absolutely stunning, everyone said my bouquet was gorgeous. And the arch for the ceremony was exactly like I dreamed it! I highly recommend working with Amy! You won't be disappointed!!! ❤️

It was SO wonderful working with Amy! My husband and I couldn't be happier with her amazing work, designs, & affordability! She is a great communicator and responded back to my messages/emails very quickly!
I had many different floral visions that I kept switching between over the past few months and Amy always made my new vision(s) come to life. She is AMAZING & ALWAYS provided a solution! Only 4 days before my wedding day, I messaged her that I was again, indecisive about the floral choices I already made and she was able to work her magic and helped me achieve my final vision! She is very talented!
I am truly humbled by all the time & effort she put into helping me throughout this entire process. I was the most indecisive person when it came to my floral arrangements and Amy was there helping to guide me every step of the way & always very supportive!

Amy did a great job articulating our vision! We had four different colors for our bridesmaid dresses and wanted all four colors represented in our bouquets, Amy understood exactly what we were after and delivered the most beautiful bouquets. We get so many compliments on how beautiful our flowers were! Amy delivered, set up our ceremony flowers on the pergola and coordinated with our venue and photographer so there was less we had to worry about.

Amy of Alforal Concept was absolutely fantastic! As someone who has no knowledge of floral and brought really no specific direction other than some inspo photos, I was beyond thrilled with what Amy created for our wedding. She was so easy to work with through the entire process, and stayed on top of all my little shifts along the way, all while making me feel so comfortable and heard. I found florals to be one of the most intimidating pieces of the wedding, just because I had no idea what to actually expect or what would look good. But when Amy showed up on the wedding day, she instantly put all my fears to rest. She truly brought my vision board to life and delivered exactly what I’d envisioned for my day. She also secured all the décor rentals for both my ceremony and reception, arriving promptly for setup and tear down, which was such a relief and time saver on my end. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I lived 3 hours away from the venue. Amy was very accommodating & made my vision a reality over the phone! I received endless compliments from my guests & even the event coordinators at the venue!

Amy was phenomenal to work with. She was super responsive, listened to our requests and managed to nail every single detail. We had an outdoor wedding followed by dinner in a greenhouse, and Amy and Afloral Concept made it look absolutely stunning. I would absolutely recommend working with them!

Amy made our wedding unforgettable with the flowers and greenery she provided! My bouquet was gorgeous as were the bridesmaids bouquets! I received many compliments on our big day from family and friends. Amy made our entire wedding planning process a breeze when it came to deciding on flowers, etc. She was very responsive and communication was so easy with her! Amy went above and beyond with our wedding flowers. We had a vision and she knew exactly how to create what we wanted, but better! The bridesmaids' bouquets and bride bouquet were everything I dreamt of. The garland, and the floral piece on the archway, flowed perfectly with the theme of our wedding. She even threw in a surprise display for our bar! It was stunning. I would definitely recommend working with Amy when you need beautiful florals.

Hi! I started out as an artist, & fell in love with floral design. I have worked in all aspects of the industry for 7 years. I worked at a Greenhouse flower shop as a lead designer, & freelanced with other talented floral companies. Eventually I branched out into my own floral business with the support and love of my husband. I participated in Art in Bloom, and featured in WeddingDay. I specialize in tropical flowers, but enjoy working with all types of flowers and have a variety of styles. I really enjoy getting to know couples and create flowers that showcase their unique personality.
