inning, Afrik worked to build a comfortable relationship with us, asking us about our relationship, things we love about ourselves, and what we were looking for from his photo coverage. He checked in with us throughout the process and had an established relationship with our planner that made so much of the process seamless. He did a confidence/getting-to-know-you shoot with us that helped us to spend some time with him, get to know him, and to help us to understand how to be comfortable in front of the camera on our wedding day. He came on wedding day full of energy and spark. He and his assistant truly made the entire experience fun and light-hearted. They helped me maneuver in my dress and found great spots for photos. And once the day kicked off, they moved through the crowd, seamlessly catching moment after moment. We loved every second of working with Afrik and cannot recommend him enough. Though we were initially crushed to hear that another couple had him on hold on our date ended up taking him, he went out of his way to make an arrangement where he still did our engagement/confidence shoot IN ITALY with us and edited our wedding day photos even though he couldn't be there. He even went to our venue with his backup photographer the week of the wedding to scope out shots which we didn't expect him to do. His photography speaks for itself and we LOVE our photos so much! He is truly the best!
