The only reason I found this DJ is because I wanted karaoke for my wedding, because that was my groom’s only request. Unfortunately, this company was very difficult to get in contact with after I booked & paid my $100 retainer. They are budget friendly, hence the two stars, but you get what you pay for. Three weeks before the wedding, I emailed Nick. I didn’t receive an email back for a week, so I called. I was informed that I need to talk to someone else because they have several weddings on the weekend of mine. Then, one week before my wedding the DJ who was supposed to be there called to tell me that he was double booked and we would be getting someone else. On the day of the wedding, the DJ had trouble setting up his equipment and the pastor had to help him. He also forgot the keyboard we requested and we had to borrow one from the neighbor of our venue (Thank God for them!!). He didn’t start playing the song for the recessional until my new husband and I were all the way down the aisle. He didn’t announce anything that I heard (cake cutting, garter toss, bouquet toss, etc.) and when he announced the wedding party, he said everyone’s names right .... except mine & my husbands last name (Romero ... not too hard...). I asked him to start the karaoke at 9 pm because our reception ended at 11 pm. He started it around 10, so only 3-4 songs could be sung. Take it from me and spend the extra money to get a DJ you can trust and one that will respond to your inquiries in a timely manner and take your requests into consideration. Not one that has 4 weddings the same weekend as yours and obviously doesn’t care too much ab their clients.

Nick was a wonderful DJ, the audio for the ceremony was excellent and all of our music was great. He has a great announcers voice and has the perfect balance of talking/introducing songs and just playing music (some DJs just talk way too much!. We greatly enjoyed working with him to personalize the feel of our wedding through the music and would definitely book him for other events.
