Something I didn’t appreciate before having my own wedding is how much trust goes into hiring a florist. You can talk through colors, inspiration, and specific flowers, but so much of it is still a surprise until you see everything on your wedding day. I was SO happy when I finally saw what AYFH had created. Everything was beautiful, felt completely like us, and was even better in person than I had pictured. It felt like she read my mind.
One of the highlights of the wedding process was going to the flower market together before the wedding. She had me pick out flowers that spoke to me and gave me flowers to bring home to make my own bouquet. It was a fun activity, but also ended up being incredibly helpful. Seeing everything in person made us realize we actually wanted to shift the color palette we had originally planned, and Bobbi immediately saw it too. She was basically like, “I'm glad you came, we have to change this,” and I loved that she wasn’t afraid to pivot with me. She has such a good eye and really understood my taste and the overall feeling I wanted for the wedding.
The AYFH team also made the logistics unbelievably easy. She and the AYFH team have worked at our venue (Leo Carrillo Ranch) many times, and I genuinely think they could do the entire thing with their eyes closed. She knew exactly how to use the space and would just say, “We’ll do this here, this here, and this here.” I trusted her completely, and it took an entire category of decisions and stress off my plate.
Beyond being incredibly talented, Bobbi and the entire AYFH team are just SO lovely to work with. They are warm, responsive, easygoing, and genuinely seem to understand that part of their job is making the wedding process less stressful. I loved our flowers, loved working with them, and would choose AYFH again in a heartbeat. I wish I could get married again just to work with this team again. When I first reached out to Bobbi, all I knew was that I wanted lots of draping greenery, pinks, and to stay within my tight budget. She took it from there, offering thoughtful suggestions, creative inspiration, and designing arrangements that completely exceeded my expectations without ever pushing me beyond what I was comfortable spending.
One of the biggest advantages of working with Bobbi is that she actually lives at The Old Rancho, which is where I was getting married, so she knows the venue inside and out. She understands exactly how to enhance the space, and on our wedding day she even stepped into her home to grab something for a last-minute adjustment to make everything look perfect.
Beyond her incredible talent, Bobbi is kind, personable, and so easy to communicate with. She made the entire process completely stress-free from start to finish. Of all our wedding vendors, hiring Bobbi was one of the easiest decisions we made. I'd make again in a heartbeat!

During the wedding planning process, my mom became ill, and Bobbi showed such genuine care and compassion. She consistently checked in on her and supported both of us in a way that I will never forget. One of the most special memories from this time was when she took my mom and me to the Carlsbad Flower Market so we could experience it together and pick out flowers we loved. That moment meant everything to us.
And of course, her work was absolutely stunning. My bridal bouquet was beyond anything I could have imagine. It was elegant, thoughtful, and one of a kind. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were equally beautiful and truly stood out, tying everything together so seamlessly.
Bobbi’s and her team's talent is undeniable, but it’s her heart, kindness, and dedication that make her so incredibly special. I feel so lucky to have had her as part of our wedding, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

ng we had a budget and a vision that Bobbi went to work on thru inspo boards and turned it into a full vision. She proactively wanted to visit the venue with us to get an understanding of what would be best and was incredibly reasonable with how she would accomplish everything we asked of her. I think the thing that made her standout to many of our other vendors, was we had some rain concerns and Bobbi took initiative and called me (without me asking) to come up with ideas. She went out of her way and bought things for setup and backup plans for us at her own cost, sent her husband to home depot to scope out items, and did it all with the cheeriest attitude. And of course, on the day of, our florals were gorgeous and made the place look incredible.
If we could give another star we would. Thank you so much, Bobbi and team! We hope everybody who uses AYFH has the same amazing experience!!!
