I'm so happy we picked Afternoon Delight Bakery for our destination wedding in Aspen, CO. Ashley was so professional and very responsive! She definitely made this process so smooth and easy. The cake and cupcakes we ordered were beautiful and tasted amazing!!

Ashley’s ability is impeccable. I had a vision for a floral cake to go with our wildflower theme and she knocked it out of the park. On top of that, the cake tasted so good too. Multiple guests told us how nice it was to go to a wedding and eat yummy cake for once. Ashley was also able to make gluten free wedding cupcakes for us so the bride & GF guests could have cake too. We thought they were also amazingly delicious.

We are so delighted we selected Afternoon Delight Bakery for our wedding at Vista View Events in Rifle, Co. Ashley went above and beyond with my vision for a cactus cake! She worked with our wedding budget and guest count to create the most perfect dessert bar that guests raved about. We had a dessert bar with a two-tier cake, mini cupcakes and cookie assortment and each dessert was absolute perfection. I really appreciated the variety of her baked goods (outside of wedding cake) and how many flavors we could select from. We also had a destination wedding and Afternoon Delight mailed us our cake tasting, which was very special and something we will always cherish. Ashley was always quick to respond and very timely on our wedding day with her setup.

All I can say is WOW!!! Ashley from Afternoon Delight Bakery is AMAZING! I had a specific vision that I sent to Ashley and she created a mock up for me so fast and it was exactly how I had dreamed! Ashley is super easy to contact and she has great customer service! We weren’t able to do our tasting in person but she has an amazing system for customers who can’t make it out and we got sent our tasting flavors along with some other goodies and just the whole set up that she sent us was so nice and convenient! When I saw my cake day of..... I was literally speechless. I almost fell over! The cake looked identical to the mock up that Ashley had shown me at the beginning and it was quite literally the cake of our dreams. The most beautiful and coolest cake I’ve ever seen in my life. But the way it tasted....... oh my gosh!!!! Ashley is FULL of so much talent! Not only can she make a beautiful cake, but the taste is out of this world. By far the best cake I have ever had in my entire life. I’m not just saying that because it was our cake! Our guests are still raving about it! People were fighting over getting pieces of it!! Lol! Everyone is craving it! I knew this would happen though because when Ashley sent us our cake tasting, we fell so in love with them that we couldn’t even choose just 1 flavor! We are so happy we were able to get Ashley to do our cake! A cake we will all be dreaming about for the rest of our lives! Our wedding cake was delicious! The cake was most and full of flavor, but not overly sweet. The fresh raspberries folded in were the perfect touch to the cake for our spring wedding!

The best of the best cake and desserts in the state! Ashley goes above and beyond for any event, including my wedding. Not only are the desserts and cakes a hit, her creative & aesthetic designs also taste sooo yummy! You won’t be disappointed with her moist cake, not overly sweet buttercream, and her German chocolate cake is the best we have ever had.

Responsive, professional, accommodating. Got referred to her by our elopement photographer. We were so impressed with this business! Cake was 10/10! I’m serious. Both presentation and taste were 10/10. Not a bit of it went to waste. And our left overs stayed moist and delicious as the day received for 3 days of post matrimony snacking. So easy to work with! She came to us and brought cake samples for my parents, my husband, and myself. She was creative in making her flavors and designs. She thought of everything and many things we never thought of ourselves! Also the cake was sooo delicious!!

I planned a last minute mini-COVID wedding in Basalt, Colorado where my parents just moved. We didn't know anything about any vendors so it was a little stressful. Afternoon Delight Bakery was AMAZING! They were able to meet my last minute request and make a beautiful cake. I gave Ashley very little direction and it was beautiful! The flavor was cinnamon swirl and it was absolutely delicious! I made sure all the staff at our wedding were able to have a slice because I didn't want anyone to miss out on the goodness of it. Working with Ashley was amazing, the cake was delicious, pricing was reasonable, and it was overall easy! I recommend working with Afternoon Delight Bakery for your wedding!

We absolutely loved the cake made for us! I gave less than a week's notice and she was able to accommodate us for our elopement. We got married during the pandemic so we didn't really get to have a lot of the traditional things at our wedding. Having this cake meant so much to us and truly made our day special.

Afternoon Delight Bakery was fantastic to work with! We got married in the middle of the pandemic so we weren't sure until last minute whether we would even be able to have people at our reception. They worked with us to make sure we were taken care of and our friends and family had a cake to celebrate with. The taste was off the charts delicious!! Everyone was so complimentary about the taste and the design. Before the wedding, we were not able to meet in person so I had to describe the design I wanted so wasn't sure what I would get. When I arrived at our reception and looked at the cake, I cried tears of joy. She did EXACTLY what I wanted and even better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Afternoon Delights!!

Ashley’s cake was absolutely amazing! The cake was beyond beautiful and the taste was out of this world! She delivered to Denver more me and I kid you not, it was so moist I thought she made it right before I took the first bite! I also ordered other goodies and they were fantastic! Ashley is such a pleasure to work with and gave me the support I needed when I had to postpone my wedding! I could not be more thrilled I had Ashley as my amazing baker!!!

Ashely with Afternoon Delight was wonderful to work with. I found her after my first bakery couldn't accommodate postponing my wedding due to COVID-19. Ashley was so flexible with booking everything, and even arranged the cutest at home cake tasting for us (yay for social distancing!) The cakes and cupcakes she made for my wedding were amazing. And she was so efficient with her delivery and setup of the desserts. I highly recommend her for any sort of event!

We had THE BEST cake at our wedding! Ashley helped us create three different flavored tiers for guests and each one was perfect. I don’t think there was a single slice left on the table; people were even asking us if there were leftovers at our Send Off the next morning! Beyond the quality of the cake itself, I also highly recommend Ashley and her wonderful service. We worked with Ashley from a distance and never had a single worry about our cake arriving perfectly to our wedding in Virginia. She managed all the hiccups (and there were some hiccups as big as cancelled flights!) behind the scenes with absolutely no added stress to the Bride. What else is there to say? How about that Ashley also provided DELICIOUS late night cookies for our dance floor to keep the party going?! She has many dessert options beyond just cake! Afternoon Delight Bakery has the whole package of a top quality wedding vendor and you should be getting your cake (and more!) from this lovely little small business.

Ashley delivered exactly what she had promised for our wedding in August. We had a little two tier cutting cake, regular cupcakes, and mini cupcakes. They were all insanely delicious, and looked perfect! The setup was flawless. 10/10 recommend!

Ashley made us an absolutely AMAZING cake for our wedding! The tasting she offered was fantastic and she really worked with us to customize our cake. All of her designs are original! We received tons of compliments on how gorgeous and delicious it was. We can't recommend this bakery enough!

The wedding cake created by Afternoon Delight was picture perfect and tasted fabulous! The looked so real we had to keep the kids from sticking their fingers in it to test if it was really a cake. I would use them again and I highly recommend them to make your special cake!

We couldn't have been happy with Afternoon Delight! Ashley went above and beyond the call of duty to drive from her hometown to meet us in Vail for our cake and macaroon tasting. At our wedding, when the venue had a mishap and threw away the top tier of our cake, Ashley baked us a completely new one and even sent it to us via mail! She was amazing. Lastly, the cake was absolutely gorgeous - and tasted AMAZING. My husband isn't a huge cake person, but he wouldn't stop raving. All of our guests loved it too!

All of the options that we tried were delicious and it was hard to pick what our choices were going to be. So we picked more so we could enjoy them! Our choices did not disappoint!! Ashley was wonderful to work with and we LOVED our cutting cake and cupcakes! We had quite a few guests that are gluten-free and Ashley was able to provide amazing cupcakes (hard to find!) so that everyone could partake. Highly recommend!

When wedding planning my daughter said “Mom, no one eats the cake at weddings”. My response was “Then those weddings had lousy cake!” So, we hired Afternoon Delight and had AMAZING cake! Thankfully, we had a very smart bridesmaid who saved a piece for me or I wouldn’t have even gotten a bite. Ashley was so incredible to work with and makes the best tasting cakes.

The cake was absolutely delicious, like insanely good, and the details/display looked amazing! The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality.
