Hiring Aga to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisons we made in the entire wedding planning process. As soon as I saw her photos on Instagram I immediately reached out and did not hesitate to book her without even speaking. Her photos speak for themselves! We hired Aga for 8 hours of coverage, with a 2nd shooter who was absolutely amazing as well! Our package also included an engagement session, which was perfect! Aga told us exactly what to do, since we were nervous about posing, but she made us feel so comfortable. We appreciated her taking charge and making sure we looked and felt perfect. The engagement photos turned about stunning! The day of the wedding, Aga took charge again and was able to wrangle our wedding party and family and made sure we got every photo we wanted, and made sure everyone looked perfect as well! Our guests could not stop raving about what a great photographer Aga and her 2nd shooter are. Aga made sure we stayed exactly on time, and when we had guests arrive early, she was so patient and hid me away so no one would see me in my dress before the ceremony. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos, but have no doubt they will turn out amazing.

We found the BEST wedding photographer ever! Aga's wedding photographer skills are truly impeccable, and her prices are reasonable for the beautiful work she does! We chose the package with two photographers included, and we were so blown away how fantastic Aga and her 2nd photographer were. Aga was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. Her romantic, airy, light modern style was exactly what we had in mind for our wedding photos. Not only is her photography skills on-point, but Aga is also extremely fun, and made everyone feel comfortable. Aga was also our go-to person in recommending other wedding vendors that she had worked with. We were extremely happy with the two wedding vendors she recommended, who were also a part of our wedding day! We even had a mini-holiday session with Aga, and the results were breathtaking! We used many of the mini-holiday photos during our wedding day, and we received many compliments on it! On our wedding day, Aga and her 2nd photographer were so on-it on the timeline. The moment they arrived, they were so excited to be there for us and began capturing our wedding day. Also, Aga gave such amazing advice that we never even thought about and paid attention to all the minor details. She took charge, ensuring that everything was captured and that we looked our best throughout the day. Her second photographer was also a joy to work with, he was so kind and funny! They both recommended great areas to take photos around our venues, and we loved how they captured all the photos we wanted to have. We received teaser photos the day after the wedding, and they were absolutely breathtaking! We're so grateful to have found Aga and we will definitely be using her for future life/special events. Her photos are timeless, and we can't recommend her enough!

I had booked Aga back in 2018 for my 2020 destination wedding. Her packages were reasonably priced and came with 2 engagement photoshoots, in addition to the wedding day package. I also paid the extra fees for a second shooter and travel. Our 2 engagement shoots were local and Aga was very easy to work with, always responsive, gave suggestions for locations, had a quick turnaround time for photos, and the quality of the photos were great! Then covid happened, and our March 2020 wedding got postponed until September 2021. Aga was patient and accommodating. Two days before our wedding, I reached out to Aga about travel logistics, and she failed to mention her second shooter wasn’t coming until I asked. Aga said she couldn’t find another shooter but she could handle our wedding considering it wasn’t a large group, and then offered to shoot our rehearsal dinner in lieu of her second shooter. Although disappointed, we knew we didn’t have many options as it was only two days away and we agreed. We had already paid all of our final deposits, including two vendor meals (one for Aga and one for her second shooter), but unfortunately the second vendor meal was nonrefundable this close to the wedding. Aga took photos at our wedding, but I was still disappointed about some missed moments that would have been captured had we had the second shooter we planned for. Small wedding or not, that was a detail that should have been relayed to us earlier on. Our initial sneak peak of the photos did not appear to have the same editing style she had done for our previous sessions although she insisted it was the same; the photos were pale and lacked most color. Aga agreed to make some tweaks, and delivered our final gallery in January 2022. The photos in the final gallery had varying editing styles, with some having a blue tint that made our skin look green. It appeared green when viewing on my phone, laptop, tablet, and even after being printed at several different locations. I asked about this (after printing some samples out and viewing on different computers) in June 2022 and requested a few of the photos be re-edited, and she stated she would work on them over the summer. Summer came and went, and I never received any new edits, and she was less responsive. I followed up with her several times, and she blamed color on “your computer pixels are not good, the printing companies you used are not professional (even though I used the same ones on her previous photos and they were great), it’s because you made me do it asking for certain edits.” I offered to edit the photos if she would be willing to share the raw files but she insisted she could not share them and would re-edit and have our photos ready by Christmas 2022. Come Christmas time, she says she cannot find the hard drive with the raw photos and suggests I edit the photos myself, but wants me to edit the finished product that was in my gallery as opposed to raw photos, as she is not willing to share the raw photos, nor can she find them. In January 2023, she says she’ll spend time searching for the hard drive with the raw files to provide new edits. It is now February 2023. We have never received any new edited photos. While I had a great beginning experience with Aga, I also had a rough ending experience. I will not be using Aga for photography services again, nor will I recommend her to others.

We booked Aga for our wedding this year which came with an engagement shoot as part of the package. It felt like jumping through hoops trying to book the engagement session. Not once did Aga reach out to us or ask what we were looking for, location, style, etc. I wondered if she had forgotten we paid a $1600 deposit. My fiancée is in the military stationed overseas so we had limited time during this visit to get the engagement session done. Aga took weeks to respond to me many times. I had to reach out to her THE DAY BEFORE our engagement shoot to confirm that we were still on and she asked if we could cancel! She wanted to cancel due to the area being crowded and possible rain. The day actually ended up being gorgeous and the day she rescheduled us for ended up being awful and rainy. When she said "everywhere is going to be crowded right now" I felt like we were inconveniencing her. Thank goodness we parted ways with her before any photos w

Aga was hired for my daughters wedding. Great photos, it did take a while to get the full gallery.

We got married on 7/1/22 and got all of our photos in December. It took 23 weeks. We would’ve given more than one star if she would have communicated with us more. She sent teaser photos about one month after the wedding. We followed up in September just checking in, seeing if we could get an ETA. Two weeks went by with no response. Sent another email. Tried calling, left a voicemail, no call back. Still no response for more than 2 weeks. Our friends called her “inquiring about services” and she returned their call within a day. Finally received an email in October saying she would start uploading the pics that afternoon. Six weeks went by with nothing. Saw she sent the pics on Thanksgiving but were bummed it was only some. Finally received all of them the second week of December. The stress that we went through after continuously not getting a response was extremely hard to deal with. Did she lose the photos? Is it something we did? Do I need to contact a lawyer? This stress alone is why we gave this rating. I’d hate for anyone else to have to go through this, which is unfortunate because they were great photos. We received a lot of positive feedback about them but unfortunately, also received a lot of negative comments about the bossiness and pushiness our family and bridal party endured that day. I understand keeping us on track and sticking with the timeline (our fault-we were running a bit late) but the way she handled it could’ve been different. Going with the flow more and not being on such a tight schedule for certain poses she wants to capture would’ve made the day less stressful, although we probably should’ve told her we’d be okay with that, beforehand. Wish she had reached out to go over the wedding day with us prior - would've been a nice touch.

I was recommend to Aga by my best friend who has worked with hundreds of photographers, she said Aga is the best and I couldnt agree more! Aga was prompt, professional and kind. She was able to take the most amazing photographs in crowded,, unfamiliar places. She was so directive and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She also helped us stick to our timeline, we would have been lost without her help. She is so easy to work with and also incredibly talented. I am so incredibly happy we chose Aga to be our wedding photographer - If you have seen her work it goes without saying that her photos are absolutely STUNNING but here is why I would hire her over and over again. Organized - The day of our wedding Aga knew our exact timeline and she made sure we stuck to it. When my mom showed up an hour late she took charge and made sure to shift the photo schedule around so we could still capture all the pre wedding photos without skipping a beat. Detail Oriented - One of the main reasons why I think her photos are so incredible is because of her attention to detail. She looks at everyone in a group and realizes right away one of the guys hands isn't in their pocket or a boutineer is crooked and she fixes it. She doesn't mind telling you what to do to get "the perfect shot"  Leader- Aga will take charge in the most polite way and make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be in the photo. It makes you feel so confident that you will get all the shots you want and that they will look amazing. Knowledgeable - I think Aga's photos turn out so amazing because of how knowledgeable she is at her craft.- She will tell you if the light is too bright or if that backdrop will not turn out right. She will also scout the venue and pick out the perfect locations for photos. Good person - Not only does Aga love what she does but she has a genuine heart and every interaction I have had with her has been incredible. I would highly recommend hiring Aga for your wedding - I would personally talk to anyone who is considering hiring her and tell them about our amazing experience. Your photos will turn out better than you have ever dreamed of!

Aga was fabulous! We were so lucky to have her as our wedding photographer! She was extremely professional, was fun to work with and made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. Aga is incredible! Not only is she an amazing photographer but is the sweetest most genuine person. I could not even imagine someone better than her to capture all of our special moments. I worked with Aga on a wedding I helped planned 5 years ago, and her work has stuck with me since. We love Aga! I was looking for a photographer for engagement pictures back in September and she’s the one I picked based on the quality of photos and the reasonable price tag. She was willing to meet wherever, gave her honest opinion on locations, and even offered us a package deal for our small, short, intimate wedding since we weren’t going to have her photograph the reception dinner. Aga is the BEST! She came highly recommended by our wedding planner, Molly Stark. Aga was a pleasure from day one. She was super responsive, knows exactly what she's doing and makes you feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. However, my favorite thing about Aga is she's a BOSS! I am very particular about quality of photographs, so for my wedding I researched dozens of photographers before choosing Aga. We ended up doing a package with her for an engagement, boudoir, and wedding photos – all of which turned out absolutely stunning. She was entirely professional but still fun and made us comfortable in each setting. Aga provided a good amount of direction which is what we preferred and asked for since we are never sure how to pose / what to do. She was quick to turnaround each set of photos and at the end even gave us a beautiful wooden engraved box with a USB of all the photos. We were extremely happy with our experience with Aga and the photos she captured, and we’ll definitely be going back to her for future photography needs. From what I’ve seen she also does stunning newborn photography so will be reaching back out to her for that down the road. Definitely recommend her!!

Aga is an amazing photographer and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of any photos, but especially engagement and wedding. We worked with Aga for our engagement photos first, which she walked us through with professionalism and ease. Aga Jones was the photographer at our destination wedding to San Diego. We are so glad that we came across her contact info on TheKnot.com because she knocked it out of the park. Her romantic photography style and her ability to direct people made her the perfect fit for us. She made all our guests feel comfortable, allowing her to capture very natural moments. She was also very flexible with us when a couple things had to be moved around on our timeline the day of the wedding. We hired her for 7 hours, which gave us nearly 700 photos. Aga is just AMAZING! My whole family, entourage & even make-up artist praised her endlessly! One of the best decisions I made on my wedding is having her as a photographer. PRICE- Wedding pictures usually are very expensive and if you want it to look really beautiful like what you see in magazines & wedding websites, you have to be willing to pay thousands of $. It's almost unaffordable. But with Aga, her PRICE IS JUST RIGHT. Trust me, it took me months to decide on a photographer & I did look around price-wise & style-wise. Her price is just reasonable and WORTH EVERY PENNY. STYLE- Her style is a combination of vintage & modern photography. She uses natural lighting which makes the pictures look blooming & radiant. Her pictures truly have a romantic touch to it. She would tell us how & what we should do. She is so talented that she is able to capture the moments naturally & the pictures came out looking so romantic & full of love. She helped us calm down & be comfortable with the camera & to just enjoy it. She has a bubbly personality & she handles stress really well. TALENT- Aga is talented hand down. She knows what looks beautiful, what doesn't, she knows perfectly what good lighting is. In addition to her being a talented photographer, she listens well to as to what you want & do not want on your pictures. She will ask you what's your favorite side of your face & to remind her if she is not taking pictures on that side of your face. She will let you know if your position is unflattering. Aga saved my wedding. We hired Aga after our first photographer, the one who shot the actual wedding, sent us horrible photos. There wasn't a single photo the shot me from the head to toe, getting my entire wedding dress in the frame. Same goes for the groom's suit, the bridal party, the cake table and even the ceremony. It's like he was taking experimental photography where the style is everything in partials. My husband and I were absolutely heartbroken. So we found Aga online, donned our wedding attire again and returned to the venue for photos with her. What we got back from Aga was spectacular, we got all the portraits of us we needed and with use of only a few different props, Aga managed to recreate some of our wedding. I also had concerns as a plus-size bride, but Aga's photos captured me at my best, I couldn't believe how beautiful I looked. Without Aga, we wouldn't have had anything to show our family, or our kids. Aga saved our wedding. She was so professional, polite, answered calls and emails almost immediately. Aga was absolutely amazing when my husband and I first met her. She understood our vision and was incredibly flexible with us. She really listened to what we were looking for in our photos. After we did our engagement photos with her, we were so excited with our decision, as she captured everything we were wanting her to, and the photos were edited in the exact way we were wanting. We used Aga Jones Photography for our engagement session. After we saw how amazing her work was, we decided to book her for the wedding for the full 8 hours. We were a little worried to have her take the wedding pictures, because we are a big loud, bossy Mexican family. Aga was great at controlling the crowds and managing all of our 300 guest. Our bridal party was about 24 people and Aga was just awesome at managing everyone. The pictures came out amazing! Fro the moment I contacted Aga she was great! She quickly responded to my emails and calls and answered all my questions. I live in Long Beach and she gladly met my sister in San Diego so she could discuss my wedding and show her some of her work. I booked Aga even if I had not personally met her because her work speaks for itself. The day of my wedding she arrived on tie, kept us on time, and took amazing pictures! She took pictures of my husband and his friends/family and also of ours (two separate locations). She kept everyone on schedule to ensure we got as many pictures but in shorter time. She was great to work with. For being 1 person she did amazing!! She captured al of our special moments but never got in the way. I was so happy we booked her and all of our pictures arrived quickly and the 3 disc were amazing! Recommend her 100%. Thank you Aga!!

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! We planned our beach elopement over a 3 week period, so I used reviews like these to decide on a pastor and photographer. Aga was fantastic throughout the whole process. We never had an engagement shoot done, so we were both nervous about the pictures, but Aga made the whole process feel so easy and natural. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful of course! If we are ever in the San Diego area needing pictures done again, Aga will be our first stop.

Aga was amazing!!! We didn't meet her prior to the wedding, so we were a bit nervous, but she showed up early, scouted locations, met us promptly, has a delightful personality! More importantly than her amazing shots, great contrasting and color editing, efficiency, confidence and skill, she was very patient with us. She was extremely flexible upon changes and was able to cater to our needs. When events were not going according to plan, she was able to adjust and give us ideas of when to shoot pictures. But in regards to photography, I fell in love with her portfolio. Her did not disappoint! The pictures I saw in her portfolio were just like ours. She was very professional and allowing us to feel relaxed when we were taking pictures. Her friendliness and personality is hilarious, which made are nervousness more at ease. She's very pleasant and fun to work with. Upon receiving our gallery, I'm very impressed in her distribution of content and her features! I would definitely hire her again and I'd tell you to do miss out on this chance to hire her for your big day.
