Since my husband and I are your average looking, slightly overweight couple, I was more interested in seeing examples of other “normal” looking folks. I was surprised by how the other photographers were reluctant to show me examples of their less-than-model-type couples. Tina was the only photographer willing to run through some of her photoshoots with average, everyday people. When looking through her examples, I was immediately struck by how she could capture the moment, the personalities, and the best angles of her subjects. She talked to me about some of her strategies in capturing the best sides of people and creating picturesque scenes, but you could also tell from the pictures that she simply has a great talent for taking beautiful pictures. We booked our engagement photo shoot with her as a sort of test run. Without going into too much detail, we absolutely loved the results. My husband hates taking pictures and is super awkward behind the camera. In our 3 years together, I probably have a total of 10 pictures with both of us in it. I told Tina that if we could get at least 3-5 amazing pictures out of the photo shoot, then I’d be extremely grateful. Not only did Tina deliver 3-5 amazing photos, but we had close to 200 images to choose from. It was hard narrowing it down to my favorite 10! Not only that, but she actually captured my husband smiling naturally! Dimples and all. If you could only understand how amazing that is! Not many people get to see that smile, but to have it captured in a picture that I can frame and keep forever, means so much to me. After our engagement session, all my fears and worries were relieved about the wedding. I kept telling folks that based on how not-photogenic my husband was, the most important thing to me was finding a good photographer. I knew that we’d be good to go in Tina’s capable hands! At the end of the day, our pictures from the wedding day were amazing. We ordered a photo album and had a very hard time narrowing it down to our favorite 100 pictures. Actually, I think we sent her our top 130, because we just couldn’t cut any of the others. We had great pictures of everyone getting ready, the wedding, the reception, dances, and toasts. But most of all, we had pictures of people having fun, chatting with each other, smiling and laughing naturally. That’s exactly what we were looking for! Our wedding album isn’t full of tired smiles and stiff posed pictures. Instead, Tina captured the day for what it truly was – an amazing, fun, happy time. Thank you Tina for everything!

Throughout the whole shoot, she was so fun and just made the overall experience awesome. My fiance (now husband) and I had such a great time shoot with Tina. Wedding photos: On the day of, Tina brought along two additional shooters, and they were just as professional and focused as she was! They were a great team. It can be a hectic day and ensuring everyone is where they need to be is not an easy thing. Tina did this so well. She has a gentle assertiveness about her and the family photos were a breeze because of how organized she was! At the reception, Tina and team were EVERYWHERE, capturing every moment. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL! We look at them all the time, and can't wait to frame and hang them everywhere. I'm so glad I chose her, and I wish I had more reasons to hire her again!

ngagement pictures. This was all a first to me, so naturally I had no idea what prices or packages to expect. When I first saw Agape’s blog/portfolio, I fell instantly in love! Only thing was, the price was out of the budget I had originally set (my budget went up after seeing that I wasn’t going to get up to par photos unless I paid a little more!). I kept on looking at other options, but I kept finding myself either intentionally or accidentally ending up back on her website and falling more in love with her work! After becoming more familiarized with the packages that all photographers offer for engagement pictures, I realized Agape actually offers an awesome deal! She gives you a 1-2 hour photo session, online gallery to print whichever pictures you like and ALL the pictures on a DVD with all the rights. She does unlimited outfit and locations (although she recommends a set amount of changes due to the time limit). In the end, her package deal is a great deal, her pictures are great (everywhere else I looked, the shots were either too cheesy, ‘posey’ or just eh…boring), and she is an awesome/helpful/sweet person! I am so happy I chose her and could not imagine having had a better time with anyone else! Another thing, we live in Houston and our session took place in Austin. She took the time to research the most beautiful spots in Austin! The pictures came out even better than I ever imagined :)

helpful! Her prices are very fair, especially for the quality of her pictures. My wedding was 8 months ago, and I still LOVE looking through all the pictures. My husband still uses one of her pictures as his profile picture on facebook because he says, "How could I have a better picture than this?" We had a very large bridal party (10 guys and 10 girls) and a lots of family. She took all the group shots we wanted along with some great couple shots in record time! I would recommend her to any friend or family member. She was so easy to work with!

What I love most is that Tina really loves what she does, and it really shows. She was so creative with her shots (we've gotten so many compliments on the poses and settings), and it helps people like us who have never been in any professional photography! On top of all this, Agape is definitely one of the most affordable photography studios out there. We're looking forward to going with Agape for all of our future special occasions as well! hy groom feel so comfortable. My fiance thought I spent way too much money at first. (He was not the one shopping around seeing what a quality photographer costs). The second we got the wedding pictures in, he apologized and said he would have paid twice as much to have Tina's expertise. She was so professional, positive, and flexible. We had a big wedding, that ended up being super hot due to AC issues. She never once lost her patience, and still came up with fantastic pictures. Every single one of our guests raved about her energy and positivity, and then about her stunning pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend Agapr House. If you go anywhere else, you are wasting your money!!! The quality and service you get for such affordable prices is impossible to come by anywhere else. Believe me, I did my shopping!!!

PICTURES, I FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO PICK WHICH ONES I WANTED TO ORDER :) MY EXPERIENCE OVERALL WAS AMAZING AND I WOULD RECOMMEND AGAPE HOUSE STUDIO TO EVERYONE. I WILL BE USING TINA AGAIN IN THE FUTURE :)
