e, so many things come into question: Are they going to catch the moments I want to cherish forever? Are we going to work well with each other? Is the price worth the investment? With all of these things in mind, I chose Agave Creative. They made me feel comfortable, as though we were already friends. My photographer had recommended them after having worked together on a previous wedding. They are based in Austin but had no issue making the commute to San Antonio. When my fiance and I met them, they were funny and relaxed but very insightful and knowledgeable on what would work best. They put me at ease and I knew that we were in good hands. Agave Creative is run by a husband and wife team, so you get the best of both worlds: a man's eye and a woman's touch. Most brides will probably say that between budget and vendors lies the most stress. For us and as probably many in the past I questioned the value of a Videographer at our wedding and whether spending that amount of money was worth it when we already had photographers. After reading blogs about deciding and listening to the "well how many times are you going to actually sit down and watch it" argument, I still decided that the price for Agave Creative to be a part of my wedding was worth it. Our wedding was beautiful and everything was perfect; it was a real party. We danced and enjoyed our guests the entire night on the dance floor. We left for our much anticipated honeymoon eight days later, when just four days into it we received notice that my father had passed away suddenly. It crushed us and made for a very heartbreaking flight back to the States to begin the funeral arrangements. In the saddest times of my life, where nothing seemed to fit or make sense, Agave Creative stepped in. Andrew and his wife made me a video full of the most beautiful moments I shared with my dad on the happiest day of my life. In the video you can see the happiness and the glow from my dad that was so blissful and comforting. The letter I am recorded reading, is from my dad minutes before the ceremony. Throughout the last two months, I have been able to watch this video over and over again and feel happiness and joy in knowing my dad lived such a wonderful life and was so delighted to be such a part of my special day. While I never would ever wish such horrors on anyone, I couldn't begin to describe the priceless action Agave Creative took on my behalf and how invaluable that video, and the videos to follow, are to me. Life is so precious and everyone should take every opportunity to cherish each moment they have with one another. There are not words to describe the gratitude I have for Agave Creative and their kindness. I will forever have them in my heart and cherish this video and the care they put into it. Thank you Andrew and Joyce for every moment you have preserved for us. With a grateful heart, we will offer your name to anyone looking to capture the special moments of their lives.
