Hi, I’m Ava — born and raised right here in New Mexico. This land isn’t just where I work… it’s home. I grew up under these big desert skies, chasing sunsets, surrounded by Southwest culture, wide-open spaces, and the kind of landscapes that make you pause for a second longer. I’ve been riding horses since I was five years old, and so much of the way I see the world comes from that upbringing. Horses teach you patience, awareness, and how to read subtle emotion — and I bring that same sensitivity into the way I photograph weddings. I notice the small glances. The nervous smiles. The deep breaths before you walk down the aisle. Being rooted here means I don’t just know the pretty locations — I understand the light, the seasons, the colors, and the feeling of a New Mexico sunset. That golden glow you see in my images? It’s something I’ve grown up loving my whole life. My approach is gentle and natural.
