riend SLURP the short rib broth from the bowl towards the end of the meal bc it was THAT GOOD. People came up to us from the very start of the day - passed hors d'oeuvres - to the dinner/dessert - to the late night snacks - raving about the food. AT. A. WEDDING.
Agnes was such a pleasure to work with - she invited us to her home for the menu tasting, helped us order all necessary place settings/kitchen supplies, and provided expert advice and opinion on bar needs.
She is the best! I hope to be able to throw another epic part again so we can work with Agnes and her team.

on) for that many guests, but they all came out perfectly. The initial tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning! She offered many main and service-style options. Agnes was great to work with--highly communicative and well-versed in the travels and travails of catering. She provided her own (great) staff and we/the venue provided the kitchen and some waiter items, though Agnes helped us find rentals.

he hardest part was deciding which entrees to include since they all looked so good! We chose her Sour Cherry Beef Brisket and the Apple Cider Pork Shoulder. Everyone raved over it. Our two sides were the mashed potatoes and the English Peas...I had people tell me how much they hated peas, but they ate all of hers! The charcuterie spread for the cocktail hour was so good, the bride was lucky to get a single bite thanks to her sister. The best thing was everything was sourced locally so we could show off our lovely area to our guests who had come from out of state. Agnes is also famous for her Bee Cake, but she does others wonderfully as well. We went with 3 small cakes: The Bee Cake, a lemon curd cake and Japanese style Strawberry Short Cake (bride's request which was spot-on). Service was excellent. Everyone was so kind. I'd give 10 stars if possible.

Agnes is a true culinary artist — her stunning bee cakes are a prime example — and every single dish we tasted was delicious and beautifully presented. We've gotten countless compliments on the food from guests after the wedding, variations of "the best food that I ever have had at such an event." She was also very accommodating of one-off guest dietary restrictions and instrumental in coordinating rentals. We had complete confidence and trust in Agnes and feel so lucky that her team was part of our day.

e desserts were out of this world!!! (We can't believe how quickly the desserts disappeared in the hands of our guests.) She is one of the few caterers who really cares about the ingredients she's using, whose home is stocked with pickled ingredients and preserves that she makes and uses throughout the year. And the flavors in her food are unmatched as a result -- you can taste the care and ingredient quality in every dish. Our families are self-proclaimed major food snobs and they came over to us to rave about the food and ask who our caterer is. On top of all that, the service was incredible and everyone was so professional and kind. Anyone who gets to work with Agnes is truly lucky!!

The desserts at our wedding were DEVOURED! We ordered more than recommended and guests gobbled up every last bite. People are still talking about how much they enjoyed the pies and honey bee cake. Seriously delicious.
