I want to say first that the makeup artist and hair stylist were not at fault for this at all and did a great job. I told the owner Randi that the time and location to get ready changed 3 months before my wedding from 12:00 to 9 am. She told me that it was updated but she never told the girls. I called her and emailed her at 9:27 the day of and didn't get a response. I thankfully had the makeup artist's business card when she did my trial run and told her the issue she told me that they would get there as soon as possible. The hairstylist arrived till 10:30 and the makeup artist didn't arrive till 11:00. I had to prep my hair to help with time. One of my girl's had to do her own hair since we were so far behind. I had to ask the hair stylists if they had heard from Randi given that I haven't heard from her yet. They told me that she did call them to let them know of the issue but I already made them aware. Randi finally texted me at 11:14 only because I texted her asking if I would still be charged if one of my girl's did their hair. She finally apologized and said my hair would be comped given the fact I had to prep it. I even sent her a text asking what my new total would be and she told me to discuss it with the girls. I honestly thought that was rude because this was not their mistake and I didn't want to put them in that awkward situation. Later she sent me a screenshot of one of my emails from when I said the ready time was at 3 pm. That made me even more mad since that was the original ready time when it was at noon. I didn't think that by telling her the time change to 9 am I would have to give her my whole wedding schedule even though it wouldn't matter since she would never have told them to begin with. Due to her not communicating with her team my schedule with my photographer was messed up and I had to do my bridal photos at the time that I was supposed to be enjoying the reception and dancing with my groom and guests. I honestly didn't agree with what I ended up having to pay. She ended up sending me a new invoice asking if I agreed but at this point, I was so angry and had so much anxiety that I did not want to talk to her anymore. The original total was $785 and the new one was $725 I honestly think it should have been lower I left the money with my aunt to give the stylist and again I was not going to put them in that awkward situation since it was not their fault.
