Very friendly and professional, easy to work with. She knows when to take charge and when to go with the flow. She did great with our engagement photos and wedding photos. Worked well with the coordinator and Master of Ceremonies to get the shots needed and keep the flow going. Would definitely use her again.

I enjoyed getting to know Chrissa, and I absolutely loved how she want to know what was going on apart from wedding planning as well. Depite the fact that we went with another photographer, I would love to work with her for a different event one day.

Chrissa is a very down to earth person. She photographed both our engagement and wedding photos. Unlike other photographers, Chrissa focuses on natural light. At first I did not understand the significance behind that, but viewing our photos really emphasized the beauty what she was capturing with the lighting. What I, also, really liked about her service is that she has an assistant (at no extra charge). Never ever hire one photographer for a wedding because they can not capture your whole day. Chrissa stayed with the bridal party while her assistant photographed the grooms party. At the church, one was in the front of the sanctuary while the other was in the back. Having two photographers captured everything that I could have asked for and I am very thankful for that. Chrissa is a very kind person who is full of suggestions, allowed me to make all the decisions, and never tried to change my mind. She has nothing but positive things to say. Another thing that I liked best about her was that she got the photos back to me in a timely manner. Every photo she takes is what she gives you as there is no limit on the number of photos she takes. After using Chrissa's services, we still stay in touch. I would highly recommend her as a photographer for any occasion.

Very professional had called me beforehand to interview me about what style of photography I liked and how the day would flow, our pictures were better than I could have hoped for!

Chrissa did our family pictures in October of 2019 (after meeting her when she did an amazing job at my sister's wedding in 2017) we were so happy with her attention to detail, patience, and professionalism. She was dedicated to making sure our photographs were a true reflection of our family and not just a pose-smile-click type of session. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a personal but professional photographer! The quality of our pictures was great and I was expecting to get maybe 5 "good ones", because I don't like pictures of myself haha, but I literally loved every single picture she took!!! The BEST!!!! Photography was the one thing I really cared about for our wedding since the pictures last forever and they did not disappoint! They did a wonderful job at capturing the big picture but making sure not to miss people’s expressions and joy. We got married in Michigan but live in Alabama so I did not get to meet with them before, but that was not an issue at all because they delivered 150%! Not only captured our special day but even helped with hair and makeup and making it run smoothly. Went above and beyond. Recommend highly.

We had the most experience with Chrissa and her assistant at our wedding. Chrissa makes you feel extremely comfortable and you make an amazing bond. 7 months later and we are still in contact as friends. I cannot praise her service enough!!

Ahrens studio is incredible! My fiance and I booked them for our wedding. We did an engagement shoot in July. She was incredibly flexible with locations and timing as well as willing to try anything. We got shots I dreamed about and more. She got the photos back to us very quickly, and they are stunning! Can't wait to have her at the wedding and to see the results!

Chrissa is fabulous. She is extremely flexible and does whatever you ask of her. She makes sure you are happy with the photos and creates a personalized USB with your photos! Chrissa is simply a joy to work with! Our engagement session was complimentary since we used her on our wedding day and all of the pictures turned out fabulous. She helps direct you in pictures but is also open to any ideas you may have! She was snapping pictures all night at the wedding and I love the posed ones as much as the candid ones. When I first started looking for a photographer, I started to get super stressed out as my budget was not exactly large. Chrissa was able to work within our budget and was able to capture all the shots my husband and I wanted for our wedding. She is super friendly and easy to get a hold of and was able to customize our photo package as we did not want an engagement session. I did not feel rushed or stressed out and she was even able to capture some great shots of our very active 2.5 year old son. I would highly recommend checking out her work and would definitely recommend her for any major events!!

Words cannot even describe how amazing Chrissa is, but I'm going to try. The second we met her we knew we just had to book her for our wedding. We had looked at a wide range of photographers from artsy-modern to a friend of a friend and in the end just felt most comfortable with Chrissa. Not only does she take full control of situations but she does it in a way that isn't over bearing and is just honest and caring. She listens intently and asked great questions to spur creativity for potential photo locations and themes. We are waiting on our wedding photographs and will update accordingly, but from what we've seen on our engagement photos she has an excellent eye for details and arranging amazing shots. During our wedding day she worked endlessly and way past her designated end time just to capture the best shots and we couldn't be more thrilled or excited to see how they all turned out. We are so happy we booked Chrissa and will be using her again in the future for any event we need help with. Also, my husband is big into photography (he takes photos for a hobby) so he is a hard one to IMPRESS and he could not believe how many amazing pictures Chrissa captured of us.

Quality of work is amateur! I hired Chrissa to photograph my engagement and wedding photos. We had our engagement photos done 2 weeks ago. Chrissa is a very nice person but, all of our photos were blurry with terrible editing. She refused to give us any portion our wedding depot back and now we are stuck with photos we cannot use and out $250. I would be sure to review her work very well before making your non-refundable deposit.

My husband and I are so in love with our wedding photos! We get so many comments on how beautiful they turned out! It was so stress free working with Chrissa. She met with us a few months in advance to get to know us and what we were wanting from the photos. She was with us the whole day from getting ready at the church, to the ceremony, she even road on our party bus and it was such a blast! We will be doing all our future family photos with Ahrens Photo Studio and highly recommend to anybody looking for high quality, beautiful photos!

Chrissa took our engagement and wedding photos. She does an excellent job with communicating reasons she wants you in a certain place (for lighting purposes). Chrissa takes the time to get to know you and what sort of photographs you are looking for. She gets your digital images to you quickly and includes the copyright release. While you're waiting, she usually sends you some sneak peeks to hold you over! Since our wedding, she has been our go-to photographer for all our family photos.

Neither me nor my husband love being in the spotlight, but we really enjoyed working with Chrissa. We ended up with great photos, and really enjoyed having Chrissa as part of our big day! We will definitely use Ahrens Photo Studio for all of our future professional photography needs!
