About this vendor
Aide-mémoire Jewelry is a queer-owned jewelry studio now based in Port Townsend, Washington. We create bespoke, eco-friendly, fine jewelry with a focus on minimalist, modern, and rustic designs. Every piece is rooted in quality, ethics, and environmental responsibility, using recycled precious metals and carefully sourced lab-grown, recycled, and fair-trade gemstones.
We believe jewelry is for everyone. Rings don’t have a gender – they’re simply circles of metal meant to symbolize love. Our goal is to help you find something that feels good to wear and true to you.

I ordered a men’s wedding ring from Aide-mémoire in the spring and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. My wife and I went into the shop beforehand to discuss ring options, and th...
e staff was very informative and easy to work with. There was no pressure to buy anything and they were more than happy to let us think more about the ring options before we purchased. We love how eco-friendly their products are while also being affordable and high-quality. 10/10 recommend this place to others!
We were delighted to have Aide-mémoire Jewelry craft our wedding rings and to support this woman-owned business. We made two visits to their shop in Seattle, during which they wor...
ked with us to discern the type of metal and style of ring design that would be best for each of us. The results were just what we had hoped for. We’re proud to wear our wedding rings every day!
They made our wedding bands. Very happy with them.
Planning a wedding from abroad was incredibly difficult but they made it so simple. They fit our budget and looked beautiful online, and their customer service was prompt and help...
ful. And then, the rings came! My fiance and I ordered matching bands in the hammered texture style and we could not love them more. Thank you for wonderful service, excellent prices, and a beautiful product. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.
My experience with Aide Memoire was amazing! My fiance and I had an appointment together to try on rings and ended up not even looking anywhere else. The try on experience was real...
ly special and memorable and I'm so glad we did it. I got my dream ring a few months later and am still so in love with it. I can't imagine there is a better or more ethical choice out there!
Simply stated, my experience with Aide-Memoire was absolutely wonderful: I have a bespoke work of art that I can wear everyday, and the Aide-Memoire customer service and value were...
impeccable. I found Aide-Memoire because I was determined to choose a source for conflict-free, sustainable wedding rings, and I am convinced that I found the best one. I had some ideas about customized rings that I shared with Alaina at Aide-Memoire, and with her help we customized a ring I love at a very reasonable cost. In fact, I am not located near Washington and we did the entire transaction via email. I tried on their test rings to get the correct sizing and had my ring resized before it was finished. If you can go to their Seattle studio, all the better, but it was not necessary for me. My fiancee and I also have worked with the jeweler that is the big player in conflict-free wedding rings (initials B.E.), and, hands-down, Aide-memoire is better in terms of eco-consciousness, *price*, and artistic design subtlety. From direct experience, I can also say that Aide-memoire is also more accommodating with regard to customizations. I customized my ring substantially to remind me of my wonderful fiancee, and this beautiful result I now have will be a happy reminder.
