Ailyn was an absolute DREAM wedding photographer. She was a photographer I had been following (and drooling over) on Instagram well before I got engaged. So, when I did get engaged and I was lucky enough that Ailyn had my date available, it was a no-brainer! Ailyn took our photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding- all were absolutely stunning! As I looked back on our day, I was happily surprised how many details Ailyn captured and how perfectly she captured the memories that mattered most. Ailyn went above and beyond on our wedding day, even becoming my personal tailor! I'm not kidding- the nude lining of my dress under the lace came apart for my train and just didn't look right. Ailyn was the absolute BEST!! She is easily one of the most friendly and energetic people I’ve ever met. She made taking photos (one of me and my husband’s least favorite things to do) a fun and stress-free experience for us. She went above and beyond – arriving earlier than scheduled and making sure we got enough outdoor photos even though the weather didn’t want to cooperate. Where to begin with sweet Ailyn? I knew going into wedding planning that photography was of the utmost importance to me. I wanted images that were soft, romantic, and timeless. As soon as I stumbled across Ailyn's work, I knew we had to set up a meeting. After spending just over half an hour together during our initial consultation, I was beyond sold! Ailyn captured the most gorgeous photos for our 2 day wedding. She's super flexible but takes charge in getting the perfect shot. From the second we met with Ailyn we were obsessed! I knew we had to have her! Ailyn took the time to get to know us as a couple and was always supportive and loving. She shoots with natural light, and her photos are different because you can truly feel the love between her couples! We loved having Ailyn as our photographer- she was always professional, prompt with communication, and open to our ideas. We planned our FL beach wedding from NC, so I was a bit nervous to do most of the planning and prep via phone; however, once I talked with Ailyn I knew she was the perfect choice! Her style is clean, crisp, and romantic- exactly what we were looking for. Also, Ailyn knows how to direct individuals and groups without seeming bossy, but in a way that maximizes times (which is very precious on your wedding day). She got all of our 'must have' shots and we just LOVED our pictures- so, so happy with everything! The only things I would have changed would have been to allow more time to be photographed before the ceremony and also our group photo shot on the beach wasn't 100% centered with us in the middle. I would highly recommend Ailyn for your wedding photographer!

Ailyn was simply the best wedding photographer..in all ways..that pretty much sums it up! Her personality is so warm, caring and sweet which makes all the difference when you're working with her. She had fun hanging out with us and taking pictures, and really wanted to get to know us..it was genuine! On your wedding day, you're with the photographer the most out of all other vendors so I feel like a loving, organized, fun, creative, and experienced photographer is key! Ailyn was so on point and followed the schedule of the day perfectly. She was also very open to feedback and took any requests we had about photos/styles that we wanted. I love photography and always appreciate talent when I see it. I’ve been stalking..I mean following Ailyn for the past 2 years on Facebook...and I always thought “If I ever get married I want Ailyn to be my photographer!” The best decision ever! Ailyn was the first vendor we booked for our wedding. She guided us through the process…advised us where to find other vendors (caterer, DJ, etc); and helped us to put together the schedule of our wedding day. Planning a destination wedding is extremely overwhelming…and Ailyn eased that stress. Ailyn is a natural, and you can tell she loves what she does. She is extremely professional and at the same time so sweet and nurturing making you feel that she’s your best friend helping you on your wedding day. She laughs with you and calms you down when you are feeling overwhelmed. She’s your number one cheerleader on your wedding day…making the experience that much more special. Oh and let’s not forget her lovely husband Doug…we loved seeing them work together…they complement each other. The end results are beyond amazing! Ailyn did a wonderful job capturing our special day, she made us feel so comfortable and she and her husband were like family on the day of the wedding. The price was great considering what all we got and the quality of her work. If I could change one thing it would have been to pay for additional hours 8 hours seems like a lot but it's really not. I would have like to have more pre-wedding photos.

We cannot say enough about the beautiful work Ailyn produced from our wedding celebrations. She captured every moment! Moments that we didn’t get to experience because we were so busy. We chose Ailyn as our photographer based on her stellar reputation, but more importantly on her professional yet personal demeanor. It was very important to us that we had a true relationship with all of our wedding vendors. Our families were travelling from thousands of miles away and we needed someone who would make them all feel comfortable. Without a doubt, Ailyn achieved this. In addition to our wedding day, two evenings before our wedding we had a henna ceremony at our home in order to incorporate my husband’s Indian traditions. Ailyn was an amazing photographer. I look at my pictures continuously because they are just incredible. Between quality, details, and all the special group picture she captured were just perfect. My engagement pictures was my very first photo session ever, needless to say I was a nervous wreck inside! Finding a photographer was one of the most important aspects about our wedding. I always heard "in the end of it all, all you have left is your photographs to re-live the moment and pass on to future generations" and this is certainly true. We didn't want the mass-production photographer that shoots wedding after wedding without really getting involved. After searching online and going to 2 bridal shows, I had narrowed it down to 10 photographers (that was a little overwhelming, I must admit), we were looking for quality, creativity, value, and 'that special something'. We almost signed up with another company but something didn't feel right, so I held on and attended a last bridal show at the Staz Center in Tampa, and there's where I found Ailyn and Doug. There was something so different about them! Ailyn is so sweet and a beautiful soul that can be your photographer and sometimes act as a wedding advisor offering the most honest yet warm opinions. After a couple emails, and a Starbucks meeting (where Ailyn came in armed with a beautiful welcome package that included a wedding-tips brochure she designed, a 'to-do' list, a pocket planner, all delicately put together in kraft paper folder tied with a green flower), we finally booked Ailyn! Another important aspect that made her stand out from the rest is that she is bilingual (English-Spanish) and since some members of our family feel more comfortable speaking Spanish, we knew she was 'the one'. I could not say enough good things about our choice. Ailyn made the experience from start to finish easy and fun. She made both of us feel special and unique. Ailyn paid so much attention to detail, prepared for our day, and made sure she knew our story before the wedding, and that is priceless. I mean, who takes the time a couple of days before the wedding to scout for the exact places where the first look pictures will be taken? That is really going above and beyond. The day of our wedding everyone felt so comfortable following her directions to pose for portraits, Ailyn and Dough were like part of the family. She captured our day so beautifully and we are beyond pleased with her professionalism. We are happy to say we have found our family photographer. When my husband and I first saw Aiyln listed on The Knot and looked at her website, she only had a few weddings in her portfolio. When we spoke with her, we found out that although she'd been in the industry as a second shooter for a long time, she had only recently started her own company. Our friends and family cautioned us about choosing someone who didn't have 100's of albums for us to look through. The day we met Ailyn, and she presented herself with a warm spirit, adorable personal style, and a portfolio of her work wrapped in kraft paper stock and tied with raffia and bright green flower, we immediately knew we had made our decision. She was so friendly and outgoing, and we felt that we were sitting down to coffee with someone who would become a friend very quickly. She interviewed us about how we met and got engaged, and seemed genuinely touched by our story and interested in our relationship on a personal level- not just as a business person. We met with Ailyn a few more times before our big day, and each time went over details about what we were looking for in our photos. She was clearly on the same page with us from the start and we completely trusted that she would come through for us. Fast forward a year after meeting her, and we could not possibly be happier with the outcome. Most people I spoke with told me to expect a thousand shots, which maybe would have 25-30 good ones. We were completely and totally blown away when looking through our photos for the first time yesterday, EVERY SINGLE ONE was incredible. I didn't count, but am guessing we are talking about a few hundred. I don't know how we will ever choose which ones to blow up and frame. Ailyn's taste is top notch. Her warmth with our family and friends made everyone feel so natural and comfortable in photos that even our staged formals look relaxed and the people look happy and at ease. No stiffness in this family. No fake smiles on anyone. Ailyn's second shooter is her hubby, Doug. The two of them have the most wonderful dynamic. They are incredible professional, but also clearly in love- and their obvious joy at seeing other's joy is infectious. There is no question in my mind that we will be calling Ailyn again for any future photos we need. Hopefully there will be a baby in our lives soon and we can see what magic she will do for us then. Until that time comes, I can't possibly say enough good things...I could seriously go on and on gushing about the talent that Ailyn has. Photography is arguably the most important part of a wedding day. The whole event flies by in a blur and after all the dust is settled, only your photos remain. When I was searching for photographers, I was shocked at the price being charged out there by amateurs wielding fancy cameras calling themselves photographers. Having a production background, I have a high level of expectations behind the framing/lighting/and overall capturing of an event. Ailyn is a PRO. She seriously knows what she is doing and her gift goes beyond technical knowledge. She can connect with the subjects in such fashion that she winds up capturing much more than the action -- she can capture the raw emotion of the hundreds of single moments throughout your day that make up a wedding event. If her professionalism and talent weren't enough -- Ailyn is also a joy to work with. She goes above and beyond the role of photographer. I swear that day she was so connected to me that I felt like she was part of my wedding party! She calmed me, she made me laugh, she kept me feeling gorgeous and giddy. Ailyn is worth every penny. My sister and girlfriends married before me paid over 3000.00 for photography, this is an average price for a "good" wedding photography package. We have recently experienced the most memorable & important day of our lives. I married the man of my dreams! I want to remember this day for the rest of my life. Without a doubt in my mind Ailyn La Torre Photography has captured the love, fun & memories we created that day. I love the attention that Ailyn & Doug paid to all of the details of our day. From the very beginning to the very end- they did not miss a step! We had a destination wedding in Palm Coast, Florida at The Hammock Beach Resort at Cinnamon Beach. With us having a destination wedding we had to base a lot of our decisions on our conversations with the bakery, photographer, hair dresser etc. Ailyn & I Skyped a few times & I just knew that she was up for the task! She has such a great personality- she easily organized & brought the bridal party together for some great portraits, at the same time she was able to capture so many shots that truly displayed the fun we had during the day.
