I should say that we are not spring chickens but they perform their magic and the fnish product was magazine picture perfect and we all felt beautiful and ready to take on the day. For sure recommend to schedule a trial before your big day, you will meet your artist and they help you figure out what is best for you, that way on your wedding day everything goes smoothly.

l with one of her stylists, and while she was very talented with make up, when it came time to focus on hair, she seemed rushed and in a hurry to leave. We tried a side swept look and I thought it looked pretty, but I voiced my concern about it covering half of my face, the side that would be visible during the ceremony. The stylist brushed my concern aside and I didn't push. Looking back it was obvious that a side swept look with nothing holding the hair is not a good idea for a bride, especially if the hair is to the side shown during the ceremony. I wish I would have insisted more, but issues with almost all the hair in the face is something a professional stylist who does many weddings should see coming a mile away. The style caused a number of photos to be messed up, and was generally uncomfortable to keep brushing hair out of my face the entire day. Additionally, after the trial I noticed my curls fell flat shortly after. I contacted Aimee who promptly responded saying she would talk to the stylist. On the day of my wedding, I reminded the stylist that my hair would need more heat so thay the style lasted at least the 5-6 hours. Unfortunately, the curls lasted 1-2 hours at most. My hair can hold curls (when I was MOH at a wedding earlier that year, my curls lasted one day), so it was disappointing to see my hair fall flat quickly on such an important day. Finally, my stylist appeared to be in a rush on my wedding day. She said she would take 30-45 minutes on my mom and MOH but took half the time and then was in a rush to leave. I didn't witness this myself, but my sister (MOH) said the stylist put her down for wanting very light make up (something along the lines of "that's it?" in a judgmental tone). It may have not been meant negatively, but again, professional stylists should be sensitive to the fact that every client has different tastes. Seeing all of Aimee's reviews about her and her team taking the time to listen to the brides and perfecting their looks had me feeling that this was not my experience at all, unfortunately.

for my wedding date, even though she knew my wedding date for the months leading up to our trial, and we had been communicating for the days leading up to the trial as well. This wouldn't be a big deal for most, but I was only in Miami for a couple days and won't be there again until my wedding. She did offer suggestions for someone to fill in for her, but the whole situation was very unprofessional and I would suggest going with someone who is organized enough to keep their appointments for a day as important as your wedding day.

She was so kind and helpful in our initial conversations, I knew she was the right person to have with me on my wedding day! When I met her for my hair and makeup trial, she was fabulous! She is so good at what she does, she made me feel like princess and that was just the trial! On my actual wedding day she and Ashley made all of us look amazing! They were so easy going, kind and wonderful on a day that was a little stressful! Without reservation I recommend using Aimee for your wedding! She knows what she is doing and does it with a smile! but I realized I wanted a more natural look for my wedding. So on the wedding day, we essentially did the opposite of everything we did on the trial run and it worked out! Aimee will come to your house and bring everything she needs to get the job done. Highly recommend!

and was not confident about anyone. I used to study make up back in the dates and was too picky about it. At the same time I wanted it to be one person who will make hair and make up because I had a sunrise ceremony and was afraid to not be on time. So, as I already said, I was extremely lucky to find her, she was at my hotel at 3 am (!!!) without any delay, she is so kind and sweet, I felt so comfortable and easy during the night when brides may be stressed. Needless to say that make up and hair was exactly as expected. Thank you so much, Aimee!

I had my hair and makeup trial that I had chosen the right company to work with--they were both extremely open and flexible to creating the look I wanted and making small changes in order to perfect it. Not only were they accommodating regarding my look, they were also both willing to rework their schedules only a week or two prior to the wedding when, due to a scheduling change, I needed to start my hair and makeup almost 2 hours earlier than we had scheduled!! I genuinely teared up when I saw the finished hair and makeup on my wedding day--you can call it wedding day emotions, but I was so touched that they really listened to what I wanted and worked so hard to achieve that. I cannot recommend Chic Makeup and Hair more highly--you are getting SO MUCH MORE than your money's worth with them! Thank you again, Aimee and Jany!

responsive, professional, and kind. We had 7 people in our party getting their hair and makeup done, and their ages ranged from 16 to mid-60’s. Aimee and her team really hit the mark. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL and age appropriate, and felt so confident and good about themselves. Aimee knew how to enhance everyone’s natural beauty without using too much makeup. I don’t really wear that much makeup in my everyday life, so Aimee made sure to use a lot of natural colors so that I felt comfortable. For others who wanted more dramatic makeup (smoky eye, etc), Aimee worked with them so they could achieve the look they desired. I could not recommend Aimee more. Thank you, Aimee :)

Aimee and Janna had the photograph of the hair and makeup example I provided with them on site. Janna made my hair even more beautiful than the example! My hair had movement but stayed all day/night through the Miami heat and humidity. She styled a beautiful, romantic updo for my lady of honor. And my mom, who has thin, fine hair, had mature curls full of body—it’s difficult to believe it was done without hair extensions! Before Aimee began our makeup she reviewed our desired looks, color palettes, etc. Then she expertly applied makeup, mixing airbrush, matte and sheens to make sure it didn’t look cakey or accentuate wrinkles. I wanted a bold lip but when I decided after application that it was too intense, she was happy to adjust it to my comfort. She also provided us with powder and lip samples for reapplication. Janna is quiet and sweet and Aimee is bubbly and friendly. Though they had other appointments that day, they took their time with us, did not make us feel rushed, and made sure we were happy with each step along the way. They were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

Lynette also contacted me the day prior to the wedding to coordinate last minute logistics and arrived on time early in the am since I had a morning ceremony. She was SO wonderful. They are very easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. I cannot recommend them enough!

I had in mind & she would get it done perfectly. It was just the right amount of glam without making me look like a different person. She also hired someone to do my hair - Maria. She did a great job as well. My hair is very long & heavy & she managed to get it to stay in place for (almost) the whole night. my bridesmaids were also very happy with how their hair & makeup turned out for my wedding. I highly recommend both of them!!

They said all of their brides who had used her always looked amazing. I checked out her website and loved the photos of examples of her work! I got in touch with her via the form on her website: she was very quick to respond and was great to work with. Her emails were always so nice and she was happy to answer my hundreds of dumb questions! Booking with her was easy to do over emails, which was great since it was a destination wedding for me. On the day of the wedding, she was punctual and so friendly. I didn't really know what I wanted (I'm not a big makeup person in my normal life!) but I found some pictures on Pinterest to give her an idea and pretty much put it all in her hands. She did a WONDERFUL job! My makeup turned out gorgeous not only in person but it also photographed beautifully. I'm sure that if we had had a reception, it would have lasted all night, too. Even though I had a very small wedding, I still felt so special and glamorous for my big day. Thank you Aimee!

I was really wary of getting my makeup done, as I generally like the more natural look, but Aimee really executed, not to mention she is such a sweet, kind person! Her partner, Jany, did our hair. She was also incredible! I was explaining the look I was going for to Jany, and she suggested that I should get a blow-dry rather than style my hair with a curling or straightening iron, and she was right. I was so happy with the way my hair turned out. My entire bridal party looked beautiful, and I have Aimee and Jany to thank for that! HIGHLY recommend.
