Aimée is an amazing tailor who I absolutely recommend to any bride! Another review initially caught my eye because of “tight time frame” and “even tighter budget,” as my wedding was in less than a month and I was flabbergasted by the prices of other tailors with starting prices at $500. My positive experience ended up being so much more than a fast turnaround at a good price. In less than three weeks, Aimée transformed my wedding dress from “custom fit” — as ordered — to perfectly fit! It only took one fitting for her to reduce the dress by three sizes, make it fit perfectly, and add a bustle. She removed so much material that initial cloth layers disappeared and I started to see my form. During the fitting, she took helpful videos to show 1) the altered dress’s difference when I walked, and 2) my friend how to set the dress during pictures. My groom, who initially thought he could strap the dress tightly enough around me to keep it up, was surprised and delighted at the difference Aimée’s alterations made. Aimée had initially offered a free FaceTime session to show to him how to lace/tighten the corset. When she saw how there wasn’t any room left to tighten, she recommended a fitting session and squeezed me in the next day. Despite the last minute appointment, she still took her time to pin and re-pin the dress until it actually fit me. It looked so beautiful after she’d finished it that we wanted to use her for other tailoring needs too! Her talent, prices, personality, and communication make me wholeheartedly recommend her for the easiest and most complicated needs a bride may have. Thank you for making my wedding beautiful, Aimée!
