Ainsworth House & Gardens

This review is for both Ainsworth House & Gardens, and for our amazing day-of coordinator Jocelyn. The venue is incredibly beautiful and they made the process as painless and easy as I think is possible when planning a wedding. I booked with Ainsworth before the new owners took over, but the transition seemed at least to me to be pretty seamless. The updates the new owners have made so far are very nice; I'm hoping they just make sure to keep the old-school charm that comes with this property as they continue to make changes. There is not enough that can be said about Jocelyn, and if you are able to get her as your coordinator you will be extremely lucky! She was kind, personable and responsive, and on the day she addressed absolutely everything I needed, often before I even thought about needing it.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience having our wedding at Ainsworth House and Gardens! Laurie was our day of coordinator and she was amazing. The whole property is gorgeous and all our guests were so in love with the whole event. All the staff was friendly and wonderful! When you book your wedding with them (for a pretty fair price I think) they give you a great list of recommended vendors. We selected most of our vendors off this list and Laurie worked and communicated with them, making sure everyone was on the same page. The bridal and groom suites are great! Really, the whole wedding was borderline perfect! Thanks Laurie and AH&G staff!

Stunning venue! We booked the venue for 7 hours and it was the perfect amount of time! The team was very communicative and made sure our day ran smoothly! The owners of the venue did change before our wedding day, but the new owners are in the process of making amazing renovations! We had the perfect day!

The garden was beautiful, we had a wonderful wedding, all their recommended vendors did a good job. There is new management from January, but it didn't affect our experience at all/they seem to be continuing similarly to the previous management.

We had our wedding here a couple days ago. It is a beautiful place! Everyone who came here walked the grounds before and after the ceremony, exclaiming about the special touches everywhere. Nice big reception room. Good value. The owners are new and did a great job.

When we went way back in April of last year to see the venue we feel in love with it. Kevin was so helpful and gave us so much great information for us to use when we went to other places. Which helped us know what to ask and sealed the deal for Ainsworth house. The price was great. They provided some extras that made it even better. Joslyn the wedding coordinator that is included in your price by the way was sooooooo amazing!!! She helped me through my mom freak outs and was wonderful to work with. She is fun and helped us get just what we wanted for our daughters wedding. I can't say enough about how positive our experience was.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and the perfect space for our small wedding. So many of our guests asked how we came across the venue and were truly amazed by how quaint and lovely the space was. It was especially ideal for us since our wedding was late in the year; the flexibility of indoor/outdoor spaces was great.

We had our wedding a couple of days ago at Ainsworth House and Gardens. We can't recommend them enough! From the very beginning, the Ainsworth team was so welcoming and easy to work with. Laurie, our wonderful coordinator, was on top of every planning detail, very professional, and made our day run so smoothly. Not only are the people great, but the location is stunning! Beautiful historical details, gorgeous grounds (even after a huge rain and windstorm the day before our wedding), serene and lovely. I couldn't have imagined a better place for our special day. This venue is definitely pretty. We were so excited based on the reviews. We definitely did not have the same experience and ultimately are sorry we chose it for my daughter's wedding. We were assigned Laurie Morris as our wedding organizer. She was nonresponsive from the beginning. We finally had to ask the venue owner, Kevin, to intervene to get a response from Laurie. However, Kevin never apologized or seemed to care. On the day of the wedding, Laurie would not respond to our inquiries about where to set up things or where we could find things. She was in a foul mood and was rude to our guests. Once again we had to get Kevin to intervene. However, when we saw Kevin come out to speak with Laurie, it was obvious that they are good friends and laughing. This all while my younger daughter, who was the maid-of-honor, was on the point of tears because she was so flustered and stressed. The outside area was set up in a haphazard and unattractive way. They did not set up the microphone for the readings during the ceremony (and Laurie was nowhere to be found) so we had to awkwardly work our way through that. When we went inside for the dinner, we found that they did not put the table displays that we requested. There were no water pitchers put out on the tables. So, guests had water glasses but no water. Throughout the reception, Laurie remained unpleasant and inaccessible. Laurie got upset at a group that went up to the buffet and asked if there was more of the vegetables. She laid into them quite harshly that they were supposed to wait and actually glared at them when they stayed put. (So glad we had guests who knew that her behavior was unacceptable and not going to back down to her bullying.) At the end of a long night, my husband and I had to figure out where things were. Laurie looking very put off just kept walking away from us. She made a stressful situation even more stressful. I don't understand why she was so rude to our guests and so unhelpful. I don't know how Kevin would allow it. Literally several dozen guests asked what her problem was. This is her job for goodness' sake. I'm glad I was able to insulate my daughter from Laurie's ugliness. I'm so sorry many others were not. There are just as pretty, if not prettier, venues around. No wedding should be marred by the disrespect and disservice that Kevin and Laurie showed our party.

The lovely people of the Ainsworth House & Gardens gave us the wedding of our dreams. Kevin showed us around and we immediately knew it was where we wanted to get married. The garden and spaces are so beautiful that they function as their own decor, and most of the other items we needed were provided by the venue (including linens, centerpieces, and weather contingency plans) which allowed us to haul in and out as little "stuff" as possible. They were able to accommodate every little thing we asked. Especially the wedding coordinator who worked with the venue, Jocelyn, was really excellent. She ensured that everything ran smoothly and she really had a great time with us besides. She solved so many little problems for us and always with a smile, it was clear she is very good at what she does. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make our wedding so lovely!

We couldn't be happier with our wedding day! Indeed, the event went well above and beyond our expectations! We fell in love with the venue when we saw it, and the staff were very helpful guiding us and leading us on our path! Jocelyn, our wedding planner, was simply THE BEST!!! It was a very magical day! We would whole heartedly recommend any event at the Ainsworth house.

My son just had his wedding here last weekend and it was beautiful! Every detail was perfect! The venue was gorgeous and the fact that we got to use the entire place was great, inside and out. Jocelyn Badali Barrett, our wedding coordinator made the day a breeze and took care of everything. What a special place!

Ainsworth House & Gardens is the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen, and upon meeting and talking with Kevin, the owner, we knew we wanted our wedding here. Kevin continued to assist us throughout our wedding buildup and calmly guided us through the ever-changing pandemic rules. Each of our guests commented on the unusual beauty of this place. An on-site wedding coordinator is included in the rental fee, and our coordinator Laurie made our wedding evening run perfectly, even in the Portland 110-degree heat wave. I highly recommend this gem of a wedding venue.

This venue is absolutely beautiful! There are so many spots for pictures and the space for the ceremony was perfect! It was great working with them and staff was very organized and helpful.

I just had my wedding here on 11/7/2021 and everything was an absolute dream! From the beginning stages of planning, to the meetings leading up to the wedding, and then the day of, everything was flawless. This venue is beautiful and comes with a day of coordinator. Our coordinator was Krystle and she made our day stress free and amazing. She was so kind and kept the show going without any issues. The people who work here are very responsive to emails, easy to work with, and go above and beyond. They even worked with us when we had to change our date. They could not have been nicer! I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom who want a beautiful location with people who genuinely care about you and your special day.

Ainsworth House and Gardens was an absolutely wonderful venue for our wedding! Every staff member we worked with was kind, helpful, and great to work with. We loved the venue-- we got married on a cold and rainy November day last week and the inside space was warm and inviting and beautiful for our ceremony and reception! We can't WAIT to see photos from the event-- there are so many beautiful spots to take your professional photos at this venue, even in the rainy fall months! Thank you for everything. The Ainsworth House & Gardens team was amazing from the first email I sent them. So organized, professional, and accommodating. It was a dream to work with them--particularly our planner, Nancy--though the challenges the pandemic has thrown us--I'm so glad my husband and I chose this venue!

Ainsworth House: This is a beautiful location within a neighborhood, but don't let that turn you away. The site itself is a natural and private setting that made for incredibly beautiful photos. The venue coordinators were very responsive, and we were able to get a viewing quickly with follow up information. We write this review in the times of COVID with the caveat that this was new for the venue as well. At the start, they were communicative about changes, however as things developed we would have appreciated more updates. Laurie, the wedding coordinator that was provided by the venue, was immensely helpful in organizing and directing us in things we needed for the wedding. The venue was well prepared for COVID-19 restrictions, clean wedding rooms and facilities for guests. Overall, our wedding was impacted by COVID-19, but Ainsworth House and team worked to help make sure we still had an amazing and beautiful day.

During this current pandemic, we were not sure if we can have our wedding in July. Our original guest count was 120 and had to cut down to 25. Our families from overseas were not able to attend. However, we decided to go ahead with the wedding with the restrictions and limitations. We had a virtual option set up so our guests locally as well as globally can attend. The wedding turned out to be beautiful and magical. Kevin and Laurie made everything run smoothly and worked with us. The weather was perfect and the venue grounds were absolutely gorgeous with flowers and trees in full bloom. The ceremony and reception was social distanced and our guest had masks on (party favors). The matching masks made memorable photographs refelecting the 2020 situation. It didn't look empty with the small group of guests. The best part was we got to visit with each table and spend some time with them during the reception. We felt safe and made it the best COVID-19 wedding.

We had a great experience with Ainsworth. For a moderate extra amount we included a planner that made the process super easy, practical and with great outcomes. The venue was beautiful although a bit difficult to find by guests, because it’s in a residential area. It all worked in the end though.

Great place for a wedding and wonderful experience

Gorgeous garden setting! Everyone went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They are the epitome of professional and obviously enjoy their work!

We cannot say enough good things about Ainsworth House and Gardens. From the first meeting Kevin was super informative. When looking at venues one of the requirements was accessibility for my sister/Maid of honor and this was the first venue that had experience and offered more then "we can figure something out I'm sure", and the owners even bought a ramp for the venue so she could be in the getting ready room with us. There were also a ton of options for where to have our ceremony and they were happy to make each work. Laurie was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure everything ran super smoothly and she was absolutely fantastic to work with.

We could not have picked a better place to have our wedding. The venue was gorgeous inside and out. Our day-of coordinator (Nancy) went above and beyond to help us plan out the big day (down to the smallest details). We could not have done it without her. The rest of the staff were so kind and professional. Like I told my friends: I didn’t start sweating until I started dancing and that’s exactly how I think it should be.

Very beautiful venue! They had everything organized, it was so easy to get through the day and everything looked amazing. They were one of the easiest parts of the planning process and i appreciated the up frontness. The day of was stressful, and the ease they made everything was wonderful. I highly recommend

Ainsworth is a beautiful venue conveniently located in Oregon City. It boasts lovely gardens/grounds and an amazing historic home. The house made for a wonderful place to get dressed for the ceremony and it was also a stunning backdrop for photos. Our wedding was Victorian themed so it was perfect! The staff is incredibly helpful and they truly go out of their way to may sure the day is exactly as you dreamed!

My husband and I were just married at the Ainsworth House in May 2019 and it was elegant. We had our ceremony outside under the large Oak tree and everything went according to plan. Laurie was beyond wonderful in making sure everything was as stress free as possible. Kevin did an amazing job as officiant for our wedding and made it a personable event for our families. We really enjoyed the variety of flowers that were in bloom during this time of the season to make our ceremony spectacular and colorful

I can't even begin to express how happy my husband and I are with our choice to have our wedding at Ainsworth House & Gardens. From our very first visit, Kevin had us sold. The grounds are nothing short of magical. I chose their concierge package which came with a wedding planner/day of coordinator. Nancy was my planner/coordinator and I COULD NOT have done this without her. She did all of the vendor contracts and made sure everyone was paid on time. We just had certain payments we made to the venue, then Nancy dolled it out to the vendors. We had to have exchanged close to 200 emails throughout this process and Nancy was ALWAYS so happy to help and easy to work with. She answered all my questions, offered up suggestions based on her expertise, and everything went perfectly. Planning a wedding is freaking STRESSFUL. If it weren't for Nancy, I would have said, "Screw it!" and we would have eloped! Agh... just EVERYTHING! She helped with decorations, choosing a caterer and photographer, a place to have our rehearsal dinner.... Kevin was supposed to be our officiant, but had a family matter come up a few months before. He and Nancy recommended Pastor Mike who ended up being absolutely PERFECT. I'll never be able to fully express my gratitude to Nancy and all of the staff at Ainsworth House. We had around 90 people at the ceremony and about 80 at the reception (no kids) and it was the perfect amount of people for the space. If I could give more stars, I would! DEFINITELY check them out on your search for the perfect wedding venue. I promise you won't be disappointed. THANK YOU AGAIN, AINSWORTH HOUSE!!!!!!!

My husband and I were married at the Ainsworth House this past August. We could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out! Everyone at the Ainsworth House were extremely helpful throughout the year we were planning our wedding. Nancy Shaw and Laurie Morris were our wedding coordinators and they were AMAZING! They were so helpful through the planning process and had so many wonderful ideas that made our wedding perfect. We are still hearing from our guests that our wedding was one of the best they attended and we owe that all to the Ainsworth team! Thank you all for making our big day nothing short of amazing!

I toured many facilities but fell in love with Ainsworth House & Gardens. Not only are the grounds beautiful but the staff are all amazing. They include so much more in their packages than other venues making it a great value. The best part was that they include a day of coordinator. Our coordinator was Krystle who made the day perfect! She made sure everything was set up, helped with music, kept us on schedule, and so much more. I couldn’t recommend this venue more!

We were blown away by the overall experience working with the Ainsworth House & Gardens staff as well as with the location. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere, scenery, and overall experience. Nancy and the rest of the staff were nothing but helpful with the run up and during the course of our wedding. As a wedding venue we could not fault anything. We had full use of the house, gardens, and reception house and our guests enjoyed every inch. We had guests from Germany, England, and all over the United States attend our wedding and everyone loved the venue. I have only seen sneak peeks of our photos but the venue is gorgeous from every angle I've seen. The staff is very organized when it comes to the timeline for the day of, and arranging everything you need to make your wedding special. We did use the linens from the venue and they looked great! Another added bonus was Kevin Yell. He was the perfect officiant for our wedding and we loved getting to know him. Thank you Ainsworth crew for everything! Brides I highly recommend this venue. Prior to coming to Ainsworth House we had toured almost a dozen venues. We couldn't seem to find a place that had everything we wanted, until we found this beautiful property. Not only was the physical venue breathtaking, but the owners and staff were incredible. They were kind, encouraging, supportive and they were a large part of making our special day so incredible. Krystle Allen is amazing! She was patient, yet directive, and so sweet. I would not have survived the chaos without her. Planning a wedding, and then being in a wedding, are such special experiences and there is no other team and no other venue that I would have rather shared this day with. I highly recommend them anyone looking for the perfect wedding day!

Ainsworth House and Gardens was perfect for my wedding ceremony and reception. I loved working with Nancy to plan my big day and she and the owner, Kevin were very responsive and helpful from Day 1. I loved the historic home and the gardens are so well kept and beautiful! So many areas to take gorgeous wedding photos! The price is very competitive and they do not nickel and dime you for everything like other venues and having Nancy as my coordinator was included! Although I live in Nashville, Nancy made the process very easy and efficient, fitting me in when I was visiting and making sure I was able to get what I needed. The list of preferred vendors was extremely helpful, but I loved that we were able to ultimately choose who we wanted and Nancy helped facilitate that connection if necessary. For example, I decided to use chairs from another company instead of the chairs at Ainsworth and Nancy helped me price out the best deal! She was very organized and made sure to ask all of the right questions to get even the little details decided and to make sure I was happy. They also allowed me to bring in all of my personal decor-like cornhole boards and different signs and things and gave suggestions on where to put it all. She was so patient and understanding and I could not have asked for a better venue or coordinator. I received so many compliments on the venue and gardens from our guests and what a great time they had. My wedding day was perfect and that was in large part because of Nancy and the Ainsworth House. I highly recommend them for any special event and I cannot thank them enough for everything!

Ainsworth House provided a beautiful setting for our wedding this month. I absolutely love the pine tree! Along with the beauty of the venue, the staff is top notch and made us feel welcome from our first visit. Having a great resource like Krystle made the planning process a breeze!

We truly could not be more satisfied with the service we received or the beauty of the space. From the very beginning, Kevin greeted us with enthusiasm and gave us a thorough tour of the gorgeous house and gardens. Kevin, Nancy, and Renee all responded to our emails promptly as we planned our big day. Not only is the venue competitively priced, but many items were included in the price of the venue that we otherwise would have needed to rent if we had used a different venue (tables and chairs, tablecloths and napkins, centerpiece components, etc.) Kevin provided us with a list of preferred vendors, which was very helpful to have as we researched our options, and we ended up using several of the preferred vendors. Knowing that these vendors already had a positive relationship with the venue and were familiar with the venue's layout and resources was very reassuring. Several guests came up to us during our reception to say how much they loved Ainsworth House. We would recommend the venue without hesitation to anyone planning an event.

My daughter decided on Ainsworth House & Gardens for her wedding venue. I am so glad she did because it turned out beautiful! Kevin and Renee made her special day better with all their help before and during the wedding. The weather did not cooperate and they had to get married indoors and everything was absolutely beautiful! I can't thank Kevin and Renee enough for all the helpful suggestions that made such a big difference with this event! All the details that most of us never think of they already thought of and helped us to plan the best wedding possible for my daughter! I want to take the time to thank Kevin and Renee and all the other staff members that helped make this event wonderful for the bride & groom! All guests had nothing but wonderful things to say and every need was met! I can not say enough good things about Ainsworth House and Gardens. My husband and I were married in March and our wedding was absolutely wonderful! We had a great experience with the Ainsworth House. Kevin was so kind and we really enjoyed meeting with him. We had our ceremony and reception in the main hall and everything was absolutely beautiful. Our only complaints were that the rehearsal was a bit frustrating and that the venue was being shown the day of our wedding (even though we were expressly told that we would have the entire venue all day in case anything came up). We did not have a traditional wedding ceremony at all (we created the entire ceremony and my brother performed it for us), but it was very clear that the wedding coordinator was old fashioned. She didn't listen to us as much as we would have liked and the day of the wedding came with a snag or two because of that. That being said, I would highly recommend this venue. Everything was really beautiful and the staff did a wonderful job.

My husband and I got married in July 2016 at the Ainsworth House. It was the only venue we toured because we fell in love! Looking back, we're still thrilled with our choice. The entire team was very welcoming and helpful. Nancy was sweet and patient when working through all the details and provided advice when we needed it. She and her team helped the whole event run smoothly. The grounds are beautiful. The flowers were in bloom and provided a great backdrop for the ceremony and photos after. They recently redid their ceremony walkway, which made it more accessible for our guests. My groom really enjoyed having the private room to get ready (and the air conditioning). The bride's room was great as well and only having to go down a few steps and straight to the aisle was very convenient. They were able to provide linens to match our color scheme and also have other table decor and items such as shepherd hooks and easels for use. Our wedding was perfect we received so many compliments on our venue and are still getting compliments months later. Thanks to the Ainsworth team!

The venue itself is gorgeous and well maintained. Kevin is wonderful. The preferred vendors and ability to use anyone licensed off the list is great. The venue has character and the price is good for what you get. The first half of our wedding went great. The last half, the coordinator was invisible and made it hard to get everything we had planned, done (bouquet toss, garter toss, etc). Our photographers basically took over as the coordinator because the on-site ones were MIA. Granted, I am sure they were doing something, but all of our guests kept coming out to us when we were just taking photos making people think it was over. There was a lot of dead time when there shouldn't have been so the lull really screwed our time and we had a short time frame to be there being we had a brunch/morning wedding. We didn't get to hear most of our music from our awesome DJ we had because we were outside most of the time surrounded by guests.

Ainsworth was worth every dollar we paid, and more! The staff was amazing, they helped make our event run smoothly and without need for guidance on the day of our wedding. We so appreciated their help in planning a ceremony that worked well in their space, it's obvious the staff have done this a time or two, but they didn't make us feel like we were just another couple! The grounds are beautiful, the photography setting is stunning, the reception hall is so customizable, and the staff bends over backwards to make your experience one of a kind. Thanks Ainsworth!!!

Written from wife - our login shows my husband's name! Hands down, The Ainsworth House and Gardens is where any couple looking to get married in the Portland area should hold their wedding. My husband and I looked at only one other venue before touring this magical place. We knew immediately we did not need to look any further. And we didn't. The grounds are impressive! Lush gardens lined with gravel paths and a large variety of flowers, trellises, garden benches and twinkling lights. Need I say more? But I will! Being married under the massive and historical Ponderosa Pine on the grounds was something very special. You don't find that anywhere else. It was so amazing. Their staff is great! Our coordinator Krystle was so efficient and guided us in the planning process, so helpful! The owner, Kevin, who gave us our tour was fantastic as well. Everyone we corresponded with there throughout our wedding planning was so helpful and friendly. The bridal suite was fantastic. It was nice to have a home base at the venue to get dressed, leave my bridal party's belongings and have a private place to touch up make-up throughout the night. The grooms' suite is equally fabulous. As the bride, I was busy throughout the night, but every now and then I watched guests wandering through the garden paths and looking so happy:) We were impressed from day one and our guests were as well. People write reviews if they were "happy" but we weren't just happy, we were over the top impressed with The Ainsworth! Thanks for making our wedding so special! Kevin and Angie did an amazing job with everything!!

We just had our wedding at this beautiful venue. Only thing that really would have been better is if we could have had the grounds for a few more hours. Staff is wonderful and price is reasonable. You don't have to use their suggested venders and no corkage fees! They even let us use the grounds for our engagement photos! The grounds are so beautiful and everyone was very impressed. We'll keep it in mind for future events.

We were so incredibly pleased with this venue!!! It was gorgeous and exactly what I envisioned for a medium sized evening garden wedding. The grounds are well groomed and there are infinite places for intimate and fun photos. I wanted a venue with character (no overly formal ballroom wedding for us). My husband and I didn't even see any other venues, we met Kevin (the owner and manager) and immediately liked him and LOVED the site. Krystal was our coordinator and she was amazing! Calm, collected, professional and yet personable, and someone who was there when you needed her and around, but never invasive. She kept us organized with time on the day and we are SO grateful to her! If you are looking for a lovely historic estate with beautiful gardens and well managed, this is the site for you! We also used their top catering vendor, Catering by Laurie, and we were so incredibly pleased with her as well! Seriously, so happy with the day and the site! Highly, highly recommended! Thank you!

The Ainsworth House was amazing and I am so happy that I chose it for my venue. Everything is so beautiful and I can hardly wait to see the pictures from the day. Nancy was so organized and made me feel calm about the events and had great recommendations along the way. I would highly recommend having your wedding or event here!

If I could give Kevin and Nancy at Ainsworth House 10 stars, I would. They worked tirelessly to help my reception vision turn into a reality. Nancy responded quickly, making planning with her easy. She helped me maximize the space of the venue in order to enjoy all parts of the garden. She offered invaluable advice about selecting vendors. The reason my wedding was successful was because of the Ainsworth team. Without their planning and genuine interest in my event, it would have flopped! I would recommend them to anyone with a small guest list (the only downside is they accommodate up to 125 guests). The grounds themselves are gorgeous! Perfect for a garden chic wedding.

My husband and I were married at the Ainsworth House in June of 2016, and positively could not have been happier with Kevin and Nancy and the venue. They were thoughtful, supportive, and really helped make our day the wedding we were hoping for. They are affordable, upfront, and so positive about all those details that are not always easy. I did not have to worry about a thing the day of, and our friends and family spoke so highly of the site, and both Nancy and Kevin. They are amazing, the beautiful venue is an amazing value, and they work with some amazing preferred vendors (we went in the medium price range on their list.) Overall, an amazing experience, thank you Ainsworth House!!!

We had looked into several Venues for our wedding and reception, wanting to do both at one location. Two things grasped me...The history of the big House on the property, and the beautifully kept grounds of the 2 acres of Gardens. The photographer had a wonderful time and was able to utilize everything, making our Wedding Pictures turn out Fabulous. The Kevin is a very kind man, and Nancy and Krystal focused on what our needs were, helping us put together and wonderful memory for everyone at our event.

Our wedding at Ainsworth took place a little over a week ago. The beauty and serenity of the house and gardens coupled with the wonderful working relationships with Nancy (coordinator) and Kevin (owner/officiant) contributed to the memorable day with family and friends. Throughout the planning process, Nancy provided a good framework for us, and she scheduled meetings during my visits to Oregon as I was living outside of the state. She also coordinated well with vendors both local to Oregon City and some from Portland. Kevin's loving care of the house and gardens as well as his insights into the spiritual nature of marriage drew us to ask him to minister as our officiant. Many of our guests told us how much they appreciated how beautiful and intimate our wedding was, and how much they loved this venue. We highly recommend the Ainsworth House and Gardens to those seeking a wedding venue in Oregon City/the Portland area.

First, the location is lovely! I was surprised and a little concerned to find it in the center of a nice neighborhood, but once we stepped on the property, it all melted away. Unless you were looking, you didn't notice the houses in the background. They did a great job secluding the venue. We had our reception under the 300+ year old tree in the lawn area and the reception indoors. Second, working with Nancy and Renee was so easy and they helped take away the stress of planning a wedding. We had fewer than 50 people attend, but the venue can hold far more. Both ladies answered all my questions leading up to the big day and were excellent at maintaining our schedule by checking in, shuffling people here and there, and assisting in any way necessary. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything. Thank you so much for making my special day so special!

I can't say enough good things about the Ainsworth House. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and helpful. The site is beautiful and everything I had imagined for my wedding day. Nancy, was the best! She was great to work with and spectacular at keeping things on pace the day of the wedding. She was very helpful leading up to the wedding, always available by e-mail and quick to respond when I had a question. If you're looking for a spectacular outdoor venue, this is the place!

From the moment we met with Kevin who gave us a tour and booked the Ainsworth House, our interactions with every member on staff was nothing less than top notch. There was not one detail or expectation that was not met with professionalism and sincere care and interest for our daughters wedding. They made us feel that we were the only clients they had. We cannot say enough accolades and thanks to Nancy, our coordinator at the Ainsworth House. She is an angel who catered to our daughters every need. We looked at a few places before finding Ainsworth. As soon as we meet Rev Kevin we knew this was the place to spend our most important day at. Not only that but the venue was actually lowest cost and they worked with us on payments. Nancy was an awesome coordinator and a life savor. The grounds are beautiful and the decorations were perfect. Plus you get good references for dj, and photographer and cake. In some instances a discount just got doing it at Ainsworth. We already planned to celebrate our 25 and 50th anniversary there.

This place is a great value and really goes the extra mile. Kevin the owner and Nancy the coordinator were so helpful through the whole process.

We were married last week at the Ainsworth House and Gardens. The estate was wonderful. We had about 105 people in attendance. Nancy was amazing as our wedding event manager and kept the entire wedding on track without being too pushy. The garden setting was wonderful for the ceremony and cocktails after. The dinner and dancing inside was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the venue and their staff. The only issue that came up was that we were going to have a lot of younger children in attendance and that doesn't work well at the estate for several reasons. First is that the event center can only hold 115 people total, and also concern for the gardens and flowers. So, we changed the wedding to an adult only event with a picnic the next day for the entire familes and kids.

The House and Gardens are beautiful, it provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The gardens provided enough space for guests to spread out and explore. The different types of landscaping provided such a wonderful backdrop for photos. The swings, arches, and statutes made for some fun photos as well. Nancy was another reason we chose this venue. She was professional and managed to keep everything under control. It rained the entire morning of our wedding right up until we arrived at the venue. Nancy did such a great job of arranging the inside (as a backup) and getting the outside ready. In the end the clouds broke and the sun shined and it perfect. She managed all of our vendors and helped with the wedding party. She kept everything moving smoothly. She made it so stress free! Kevin did our ceremony and he was also amazing. He has a great sense of humor and instantly makes everything calm. All in all, it was the perfect day and I can't imagine any place more perfect for a wedding.

The Ainsworth House and Gardens is the most amazing venue. The grounds are so well kept, we really didn't need to add anything. The flowers in bloom at our wedding were just gorgeous!! Nancy, Kevin, and Renee are great and easy to work with. Our wedding went extremely smoothly and everyone had a blast! Kevin was also our officiant. Our ceremony was fabulous and everyone enjoyed it. I highly recommend the Ainsworth House and Gardens. Kevin is a great officiant too!

The Ainsworth House and Gardens was amazing throughout the entire process. Nancy and Kevin were spectacular to work with! They were both very professional and accessible while still being easy going and flexible. The Venue itself was incredibly beautiful! We could not have asked for a better experience.

We had our wedding at the Ainsworth House in March 2014, and the staff was fabulous to work with! We live in Florida, so our wedding was mostly planned via phone calls and emails, and Nancy was easy to work with - she responded right away and had great ideas! We had some offbeat suggestions for ways to use the space and to decorate, and she found a way to make everything happen. Everything was seamless the day of, and all of our guests felt comfortable! We had a very laid back ceremony and reception, and there was a lot of space for our group to spread out - guests played cornhole on the lawn, hung out on the patio and explored the conservatory space. The venue looks amazing in pictures - couldn't have asked for a better space!

My husband and I got married at the Ainsworth House and Gardens on October 5th 2013. From the moment we walked onto the grounds of Ainsworth House and Gardens we felt at home. The setting at the Ainsworth House was BREATH TAKING! Everywhere you looked you could see the care, love, and attention that this beautiful venue receives from the proprietor Kevin and all the wonderful staff. We first met with Kevin during our tour; he spent well over an hour with us showing us around, answering all our questions, and making us feel at ease. Both my husband and I knew almost immediately that this was the place we wanted to get married. Everything that the Ainsworth House and Garden are told us during our tour they followed through with we got exactly what we expected if not much more! The Ainsworth House and Gardens has a wonderful outline that they use to make sure that all the important details of a wedding day are not forgotten. Everybody that we worked with at the Ainsworth House and Gardens were friendly, kind, and seemed genuinely interested in helping us with what can be an overwhelming process. Nancy, the coordinator at Ainsworth House, was prompt in responding to questions or concerns that we might have. We choose to get married under the giant pine tree that is on their property at sunset and had Kevin preform the ceremony. I have had multiple guests tell me that it was “the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended”. I would highly recommend the Ainsworth House and Gardens to anybody.

We loved having our wedding at Ainsworth. They were so wonderful to work with and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. The ceremony location (under the big tree) was beautiful and we received many comments about how beautiful the venue was. Thank you Ainsworth!!
