The wedding coordinator is Nicole and she is such a sweetheart! She is very on top of things and super helpful with anything you might need (including numerous golf cart runs for the wedding party and elderly people). I cannot recommend this venue enough!

We cannot imagine what our day would have been like had we not had our ceremony at Airlie Gardens. It was absolutely perfect!

eat party rental supplier. The set up time frame is a bit tight, but in the end it all worked out. The only thing that really upset me was the entrance in to the garden before the ceremony. We had been told they would let us enter through a back gate to avoid seeing any guests or my fiance. We got to the back gate & they said we had to come through the front. My sister/MOH told them how much I did not want to be seen & they offered to drive us on a golf cart on a path where we would not be seen. It had rained all morning and was a bit muddy in places and the staff member driving went off roading at one point instead of staying on the path. I picked up my dress, after making a point to not let it touch the ground until minutes before the ceremony, & there were mud speckles on the bottom. I understand it was going to get dirty, but they needed to be much more conscious of how important taking care of your guests, especially the bride, can be to an event.

We moved to Wilmington, NC about a year before we were engaged to marry and the first time we stepped foot into the gardens, we knew immeditately that this is where we wanted to do it. 6 months later when he asked me to marry him, we called up Airlie and spoke with Rebecca, the on-site wedding coordinator. We found a date that would work and booked it instantly. The day was gorgeous and our pictures turned out wonderful. I am so happy that we have this beautiful location to visit any time we like and remember the day that we became husband and wife.

had to wait awhile to put down our deposit and I emailed her frequently to make sure our date wasn't taken yet and she was always so nice and told us if anyone was interested in our date she would give us a heads up! She gave us a great tour of the property and all the places to set up for a wedding. She was flexible with us on when we could get into the garden the day of the wedding. Also, for people who have a hard time with lots of walking they provide a golf cart to take them from their car to the ceremony site and they also provided a golf cart for us to go with our videographer and photographer prior to the wedding for our "first site" and pictures. They were very professional and easy to get along with! I would absolutely recommend them for others interested in using them for a ceremony or reception! We loved them and the gardens!

he gardens, there are some minor restrictions as to what you can and cannot do, but nothing was too limiting. Would definitely recommend to any bride looking for a natural setting in eastern NC!
