Such a beautiful venue. We fell in love when we went for a tour and knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding ceremony. Abby was so responsive with all of our questions. I...
could not get over how many amazing photo op spots there were either. We got so many fantastic shots on our big day! They made the entire day a breeze from set up, to transportation, and directions for our guests. The grounds and the team speak for themselves. Loved every minute!
Airlie Gardens was such a dream/magical wedding location! It is absolutely STUNNING. I felt like I was a princess getting married there! It is hands down the most beautiful venue a...
nd unique venue in southern NC! There are SO many places for pictures and lots of beauty for the guests enjoy during the wedding instead of only just eat and drink. We got married in September so the gardens were looking absolutely gorgeous. The wedding coordinator is Nicole and she is such a sweetheart! She is very on top of things and super helpful with anything you might need (including numerous golf cart runs for the wedding party and elderly people). I cannot recommend this venue enough!
My husband and I had our ceremony at Airlie Gardens in the Pergola Garden and we could not have been happier with our experience! We worked with Nicole leading up to the day and sh...
e was wonderful and incredibly easy to work with. Airlie had incredible staff on hand the day of who helped to ensure that the ceremony went off without a hitch. The gardens themselves are absolutely breathtaking and our guests could not stop raving about the beauty of the grounds. We cannot imagine what our day would have been like had we not had our ceremony at Airlie Gardens. It was absolutely perfect!
Beautiful!!! One of the most beautiful places I have ever been! I had my engagement pictures taken here and the scenery is breathtaking. My fiancé and I took a vacation 4 years ago...
(long before we were engaged) and said we would have our engagement pictures taken there. I thought he was being silly but sweet. But we did, and they were gorgeous.
Airlie Gardens was absolutely beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful throughout the planning process. The downside is everything must be brought in to Airlie (tables, chairs, t...
ents, etc.). This makes it extremely important that you get a great party rental supplier. The set up time frame is a bit tight, but in the end it all worked out.
The only thing that really upset me was the entrance in to the garden before the ceremony. We had been told they would let us enter through a back gate to avoid seeing any guests or my fiance. We got to the back gate & they said we had to come through the front. My sister/MOH told them how much I did not want to be seen & they offered to drive us on a golf cart on a path where we would not be seen. It had rained all morning and was a bit muddy in places and the staff member driving went off roading at one point instead of staying on the path. I picked up my dress, after making a point to not let it touch the ground until minutes before the ceremony, & there were mud speckles on the bottom. I understand it was going to get dirty, but they needed to be much more conscious of how important taking care of your guests, especially the bride, can be to an event.
My husband and I were married on the Pergola Lawn inside Airlie Gardens in September of 2012 and it was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. It was also the fir...
st decision we made, months prior to actually becoming engaged. We moved to Wilmington, NC about a year before we were engaged to marry and the first time we stepped foot into the gardens, we knew immeditately that this is where we wanted to do it. 6 months later when he asked me to marry him, we called up Airlie and spoke with Rebecca, the on-site wedding coordinator. We found a date that would work and booked it instantly. The day was gorgeous and our pictures turned out wonderful. I am so happy that we have this beautiful location to visit any time we like and remember the day that we became husband and wife.
I had my wedding ceremony at Airlie Gardens and it was such a beautiful location and the ceremony was awesome! Rebecca was so helpful and always answered emails and phone calls pro...
mptly and answered all my questions in a very timely manner. We had to wait awhile to put down our deposit and I emailed her frequently to make sure our date wasn't taken yet and she was always so nice and told us if anyone was interested in our date she would give us a heads up! She gave us a great tour of the property and all the places to set up for a wedding. She was flexible with us on when we could get into the garden the day of the wedding. Also, for people who have a hard time with lots of walking they provide a golf cart to take them from their car to the ceremony site and they also provided a golf cart for us to go with our videographer and photographer prior to the wedding for our "first site" and pictures. They were very professional and easy to get along with! I would absolutely recommend them for others interested in using them for a ceremony or reception! We loved them and the gardens!
I love the sound view!
Airlie is absolutely beautiful and the whole day looked and felt like a fairy tale. I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because we had...
an issue with the staff not being respectful. Other than that I was pleased.
We got married on the Bradley Creek Lawn in April. The location was breath taking, the staff were very attentive and flexible when we had some changes to make. I can't wait to get ...
the pictures back because I know I was amazed at the natural backdrop we had for our ceremony.
Airlie Gardens was the perfect spot for our wedding ceremony. Although the spot was pricey for just a ceremony, it was worth it in the end. The staff was friendly and helpful, an...
d our deposits were returned quickly. Due to the protection of the gardens, there are some minor restrictions as to what you can and cannot do, but nothing was too limiting. Would definitely recommend to any bride looking for a natural setting in eastern NC!
We loved it! Everything was perfect.
perfect place to get married! early summer let the flowers still be in bloom, but not the overwhelming allergies.
