I can't express enough how much we loved having AK do the videography for our wedding. We met him at the San Diego Bridal Expo and were drawn to his style right away. He has such an eye for beautiful shots and capturing the little moments. Both my husband and I don't love being in front of a camera but he brought such a fun energy and calm that it put us at ease. Both him and our photographer were phenomenal. He definitely spent time understanding us as a couple and did an amazing job capturing us and our relationship.  We actually just got our videos back and they were absolutely beautiful, emotional, and completely captured all the joy and special moments of our wedding. All of our friends highly recommended having a videographer for our wedding and we are so happy we did. These are the moments we will cherish for the rest of our lives.  Aiya Photography exceeded our expectations! Thank you AK!

I used Aiya photography for both my engagement party, engagement photo shoot, and wedding. Their final edits on our pictures and videos were AMAZING. They are very accommodating for separate weddings, such as assigning a female only staff if truly necessary, they will do their part to meet your needs. They truly are great people that help make your special day extra special knowing that you could fully trust them to capture the most beautiful moments.

Found Aiya photography while searching for Muslim friendly wedding arrangements for photographers and had an introductory call with Aamir Khan, who was absolutely fantastic. He started off the call by emphasizing he wanted to build a chemistry with us, he asked some thoughtful questions to understand what we were looking for and he was very genuine. We agreed on an engagement and wedding party package that was reasonably priced for the amount of services they offered. There were a couple planning calls and honestly they were incredibly accommodating to our needs and our schedule that asked a lot of them. They were very respectful at our events and they took A LOT of awesome pictures and amazing videos. We have seen them at other weddings and it’s like running into members of your family. They provide a truly wonderful experience and the end product is a beautifully edited collection of your most cherished memories. I can not recommend Aiya Photography enough, they are world class.

I am a Wedding Planner on the Central Coast of California. I had a great experience working with Aiya Photography. They were very professional, their level of commuication leading up to the wedding was excellent, they always responded in a timely manner, and they were easy to work with on the day of the wedding!

It all started when my mom and I went to the bridal expo at Balboa Park. We had already gone to several expos in San Diego but we got really lucky at this one! We were walking around, getting info from all the vendors but the only one that really caught our eye was Aiya Photography. It was so clever to have their work playing on a big screen tv because that was so much more intriguing than just being given a flyer and having a stranger talk about how good their work is. Upon meeting A.K., his work spoke for itself and I immediately wanted to know more. We were pleasantly surprised when we also found out we were the last ones to sign up for an incredible discount offer! A.K. & his wife were very friendly, welcoming and thorough. I never felt pressured to make a decision which I’m sure every bride can really appreciate especially when there is so much other wedding planning tasks to take on and you just feel extremely overwhelmed. We met and talked over the phone several times before the Big Day and made sure they were in good communication with our Wedding Planner & Photographer to make sure everyone was on the same page. The day of, we didn’t have to worry about a thing- A.K and his team worked so well with everyone involved and were such a positive addition to all the excitement and joy we felt that day. A.K continued to remain in communication with us after the wedding to give us updates on the progress of making our videos (highlights, Instagram and full video) which was very much appreciated as we were so anxious to see how everything turned out. When we got the final product we couldn’t stop replaying the videos over and over again! Not only did we get to relive the best day of our lives but we also go to see some parts of the day that we missed- from seeing each other get ready and warm wishes from our bridal party to everyone dancing the night away! We are so grateful for A.K and his team and HIGHLY recommend them to all future brides and her groom!!!

We LOVE Aamir and Atafa! It felt like we were old friends getting together to hang out! Not only are they friendly, they made us feel so comfortable! They are so talented, creative and perfectionist! They took amazing beach shots that we used for our wedding invitation! We are so in love with our photos from our engagement photoshoot. They captured the most precious moments during our engagement pictures! We couldn’t be happier with our photos and our experience with Aiya Photography! You can truly tell they are very passionate about their work and making sure their clients get the perfect pictures for their special day! We would highly recommend them for any event!

I don’t think that this review will express how happy and satisfied we were with Aiya photography, but i’ll give it a shot. Firstly, I think it’s important to speak about how easy it was to work with Aamir for the planning and day of videography for our wedding. In additon to being super talented he is delightful to work with. He was responsive heading into the wedding and he and his crew were a blast on the day of. As for the quality of the videography. My wife and I have watched it several times and we haven’t made it through without tearing up and laughing. This video is our way of reliving the bast day of our life. The video quality is beautiful, and the video and sound editing are both great. More important, the video perfectly captures the vibe of our wedding.

We researched many wedding videographers before deciding on AIYA and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. From the beginning working with them was like talking to an old friend and their communication is extremely responsive. Most importantly we loved the finished product. Our videos captured the magic of our wedding day. I have watched the videos over and over and they still make me laugh and cry (or cry from laughing) every time. The best part is finding all the hidden surprises AK added into the video. BTS stuff we had no idea was happening until it was revealed in the video. We got everything we wanted and then some from this videographer and highly recommend using them for your wedding. You will not be disappointed and this is coming from a VERY picky detail obsessed bride.

This is a joint review from Ben and Sonia, written by Sonia! It was one of the luckiest finds ever to have sourced Aiya Photography (we worked directly with Aamir and his team) for our Indian wedding. I found them through a rabbithole search, as all wedding planning goes. I called them, Aamir called me back almost immediarely- we spoke- and immediately I knew we had our photography team! We spoke about which services I wanted- one of which was a short little "welcome video" to show at my reception. We worked for a few months on the creative aspects of what we were looking for in the video- Ben and I wanted a more subtle story of our love. Aamir worked with us creatively, offering his expertise and opinions while also blending ours- which was honestly perfect! The video shoot day was so much fun, and to see it come to life (as you absolutely can on their FB page!). Visuals, theme, and creativity was palpable! Weekend of our wedding- they were fanatastic- it was a destination wedding and they had awesome placed lined up for us to do our photography! They were able to deal with our crazy timelines and wild families and do it with love, humor, and grace. We loved it all, and they were one of our favorite vendors! This was by far one of the best experiences with pictures and video I've had. Both were wonderful and easy to work with, which alleviated any stress for the day. From staged to candid, the pictures came out beautifully and the video...oh my.....fantastic!......I have watched it on repeat a few times. It came out perfect! I was worried it would be one of those cheezy wedding videos, but thankfully it was not! I'm so happy we went ahead and got the package, everytime I watch the video or look through the pictures I smile. They were able to capture us, as us, beautifully.

Aiya Photography did an amazing job on our engagement photos and video. We couldn't be more thrilled to have them as our wedding photographers! They brought the PERFECT vibe to our engagement shoot, which made us super comfortable and resulted in photos that far exceeded our expectations- they were candid and beautiful. AK and his team was fun to work with. While planning and even after the wedding, he would always call us back or text us immediately and would answer all our questions, which made us feel assured. Loved the pictures and can wait to see the video too. We waited for three month to get the photos and wished that I would have gotten a preview of some but he made it perfect that it was worth the wait.
