AJ was the most AMAZING DJ. I wish the reception was longer just so we could have more AJ! AJ kept people on the dance floor all night long and every song was perfect. AJ had awesome attention to detail and made sure the music was exactly what we hoped for. AJ created the most amazing soundtrack for our wedding day. Other than the music, the sounds of the wedding day were perfectly captured.

Since our wedding, we have been non-stop raving about how AJ made our wedding night one to remember! We cannot thank him enough for all the planning, preparation, and professionalism he conveyed since the moment we began working with him. We were in a bind because our DJ cancelled on us prior to AJ and he quickly swooped in to pick up the pieces. We are not the easiest couple to work with and we had a large list of requests. AJ did not bat an eye and he was overjoyed to help us make all of our entertainment dreams come true. I have been a a bridesmaid in over 20 weddings and without a doubt AJ is the best dj I have ever witnessed. From the coordination with the vendors, perfectly aligned announcements, the anniversary dance/celebration, the raffle we had him lead, the mixes he made before our wedding, the fun dances, the implementation of the glow sticks all the way to the train around our entire venue- he was a blessing! He also led a picture dash with all of our guests and ensured that we received pictures with each table then at the end surprised us by asking all the guests to get on the floor to take a group photo! He wants the day to be about you and your guests and was not over the top like some DJs can be - he was extremely fun but also professional! To say we were impressed is an understatement, we believe AJ is the reason people are raving about our wedding. AJ is a gift and are a huge blessing! I 12/10 recommend AJ as your DJ and he is so organized that you will have the time of your life working with him! He also includes your partner in the planning process and gets to know you both as a couple and will double check how to pronounce each person's names prior to introductions! Ps. he will include your guests and make them feel special once he learns their names - for example, "Uncle Kevin is on the dance floor, who will join him?" I AM BEYOND IMPRESSED! AJ and Brad were very responsive, organized, and accommodating during the booking and planning process. We decided at the very last minute to add lighting, and AJ was still able to offer dance floor lighting. We are so glad we decided to add on the dance floor lighting as it truly lifted the atmosphere and vibe of our ballroom. Brad was everything you could ask for in a DJ. He was funny, personable, and from our first meeting, we had total confidence in his ability to MC and DJ our wedding. My wife made a very detailed playlist for each event of the night, but when some ran over (specifically cocktail hour), Brad was able to pick other songs that fit seamlessly into the playlist we had given him. Wow so many great things to say about our DJ, Brad. We actually were introduced to Brad at another wedding that we attended with a couple of similar music taste. We were very impressed. We reached out to him for our wedding and have to say we are so happy. From the prelude music to the last call it was perfect. We were able to have complete control of the playlist, and what we didn't have Brad filled in with some "bangers." He really helped make our day exactly how we wanted. Five plus five stars! All of our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was at our wedding. AJ was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. His online planning site made selecting our music for our ceremony and reception a breeze. He was very detail oriented and conscious of the pronunciation of all our parents and bridal parties name. He carried out the timing of our night perfectly. He kept the dance floor full and made it the best night of our lives!

AJ was the DJ we used for my husband and I's wedding. He was very responsive throughout the planning process from initial Zoom meetings to a final Zoom meeting to go over all the final details. AJ's website made it super easy to pick and plan our songs for our special day. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and provided the perfect songs for the entire event, from our ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. He was very personable with our guests and was the perfect master of ceremonies for the reception. Would highly recommend AJ and his company.

We were referred to AJ Productions by a friend and we could not have asked for a better DJ! Sean was awesome and kept the dance floor going all night. We had multiple guests compliment our DJ/music and say how much fun he made the wedding! Even our photographer commented how lively the dance floor was all night! AJ Productions did our wedding for 6/12/21 at Baltimore Museum of Industry. He was great! Amazing energy, played all of the songs that we requested and kept the crowd dancing and singing along. The process leading up to our wedding was smooth. Their online portal was user friendly! We worked with Steve to set everything up and Sean was our on site DJ. I would hire them again and again.

We used AJ Productions for our wedding on 10/3/2020 and we are so happy we did! When we first touched base with AJ he answered all of our questions and then set us up with Steve, who would be our DJ since AJ was booked for another wedding on that date. We met with Steve and he was great! Both AJ and Steve were very responsive and helpful during the planning process. AJ has this great software where you can input song requests and share your wedding day timeline! This was perfect since we needed the DJ for both the ceremony and reception. I don't think people realize how important your DJ is....they do so much more than just play the music. They keep everything on time and set the whole tone! Steve did an outstanding job with everything. We also decided to add uplighting and it looked great! Awesome that you can customize the color and change it the day of. if you want to. We used purple but you can have it change colors once the party gets going. Super pleased with our experience!

AJ is AMAZING. He is thoughtful, fun, and super experienced. Even our friends who don't usually love parties had a blast and commented on how awesome he was! He'll make your day personal and fantastic!

We hired AJ Productions for our wedding at Gramercy Mansion in June of 2019. AJ was our DJ on the day of and he did an amazing job. AJ had the floor packed the ENTIRE night, everyone had so much fun. Leading up to the wedding AJ scheduled two video meetings to go over the wedding timeline, questions, and other things that we did not think of. We were extremely impressed with his work and performance and would give him the highest rating possible!

We had AJ as our wedding MC and DJ and everything went smoothly. AJ helped organize the wedding and gave advice on the wedding timeline. He has a great personality and was able to capture the energy of the crowd. The anniversary dance was a particular favorite among guests. He was able to cater to every age group throughout the evening. We would definitely recommend AJ for your wedding.

Our wedding DJ was Steve Huber through AJ Smith Productions, and we highly recommend them both. Our guests were so impressed with AJ’s system and with how professional and fun they were. Besides the amazing planning software, we had video chat and planning calls with Steve where he got to know the type of music we liked and the atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. It was more than “a gig” to Steve – we could tell he really wanted it to be a special event for us. Even our request for a specific version of a specific sentimental song was no trouble, and he understood exactly the mood we were going for. We loved the music and how he kept the evening progressing without making himself the center of attention as we have seen at other weddings. Our guests raved about the music both during the wedding and afterwards, and we couldn’t have been happier with these guys.

AJ was our DJ back in January. Before the wedding, we had a few video calls with him and our wedding planner where we outlined what we were looking for from the music at our wedding. Honestly, we didn't have a strong preference on the specific music being played -- we just wanted people to be out on the dance floor and having an amazing time. And he really delivered! We had a large range of ages from my teenage siblings to my grandparents and their friends, who were all out on the dance floor and singing along. I could not have asked for a better night of music.

A.J was awesome! He kept the party going all night. A.J made sure all the favorite songs were played and was crucial with assisting with the ceremony timeline, bridal party entrances, and reception events. He was quick on his feet and was so in-tune to what the we (bride and groom) wanted during the entire event. We are so thankful we had A.J on our big day!

My now husband and I could not be any happier with our decision to hire AJ Productions to DJ our wedding on 8/4/2018. We were lucky enough to have AJ as our DJ, and he truly is a professional. To begin, the website that AJ Productions has set up to enter wedding details, song choices, timeline, etc. is user friendly and allowed us to have as much or as little control over the playlist as we wanted. Our main goal going into our wedding day was to have all of our guests out on the dance floor having an amazing time, and AJ delivered! AJ was the DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! From the moment we met him we felt like friends. Throughout the process AJ was professional, personable, reliable, responsive, and accommodating. We spoke with him several times over the phone and through email. His online event planner was so helpful and easy to use. AJ was our DJ and MC for our wedding at the Gramercy mansion 5/6/17. He was so professional and easy to work with. When we booked him, he set up a Skype meeting so he could walk us through his website and how to customize our evening. His site allows you to make your own playlist and there are so many songs to choose from. You can even add your own and make a "do not play" list. You can make notes such as "must play this song" and "last dance". There was another section to make a time line with special songs for the cake cutting, traditional dances, etc. We had another Skype session closer to our wedding date and he guided us on realistic timing of each event. On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly. He made sure every speech happened on time and even when we had to change the order of father daughter dance and cake-cutting, I don't think our guests even noticed. He kept everyone dancing and we got so many nice comments that we had a great playlist and they had so much fun. AJ is super approachable, professional, and will make your wedding the way you want it and will play the music you love! He will also make sure to keep everyone dancing. We highly recommend him!

We booked Matt Davis through AJ Productions. Here is our review for Matt: We couldn't have been more pleased with DJ Matt. He was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process, offering excellent advice. He was extremely quick to respond to all emails and available to meet in person at our convenience. We wanted a DJ who would maintain energy throughout the evening, but not intrude or garner too much attention, and he was perfect. He is very low-key and unassuming in person, but his music provided the perfect energy and buzz. The music and dance floor at our wedding could not have been more fun and successful. We told him that we wanted a mix of different styles and eras, and our goal was to have everyone dancing, including people from our parents generation down to the early-20s crowd. He definitely managed this, and we had several comments from older guests that they loved having music they felt comfortable dancing to throughout the evening. He was able to expertly read the crowd and keep the energy going throughout the evening. We provided a list about 20-30 songs we wanted played, and he perfectly supplemented with plenty of others that fit our vibe and taste. We had a lot of success with all our vendors, but we feel luckiest and most thankful about booking Matt Davis. It was difficult to compare DJs and choose one, since you never get to see them in action until the big day, but I couldn't be happier about our choice.

AJ was an awesome DJ! He had the dance floor packed all night! His interactive website allowed our guests to upload requests and helped us find song suggestions. He worked with our caterer/event planner from Chef's Expressions so that the event flowed seamlessly. We refer to them as the Dream Team! Our wedding at the Gramercy Mansion was truly the best day of our lives and we owe a lot of thanks to AJ!

AJ is AWESOME! The planning process was super easy using his online system. He called us the week of the wedding to confirm everything and make sure all names were pronounced correctly. AJ was our DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! He was extremely easy to work with, and answered questions all along the way. His online event planner was also really nice for us to use and the guests liked being able to make requests ahead of time. AJ Productions is definitely the way to go when picking a DJ. AJ is extremely organized and very responsive. The online portal was perfect for customizing the music. Not only could we select music to be played during the reception, but we picked all of the ceremony songs as well. Our DJ was Ray Der and he was absolutely amazing. From our initial meeting through a last call before the wedding we felt very at ease and knew we would be in good hands. He was perfect on the day of the wedding as well. He didn't just play the music. He would speak with my husband and I before any event to ensure we were ready or if we needed to adjust the times at all. He even picked up on my nickname from college that all of my college friends still use so he would use that when speaking. It really added another level to the day and made it more personal. My husband is a little particular about music and this was an important part of the wedding for him. During the planning process he researched and was very diligent about picking a DJ. Needless to say he was more than impressed. He, along with our guests, raved about Ray.

I loved AJ Productions!!! Our DJ was AJ, and we were very impressed with his services. We were impressed with AJ Productions from the first meeting. They were extremely attentive to our requests and replied to emails right away. We loved the online planner and used it to put in all of our song choices. We met with our DJ, Matt, twice before the wedding. WOW…AJ was Amazing!! We cannot stop telling people how great he was, but those that were there already know. When we booked AJ, little did we know what a TOP-NOTCH DJ we were getting. AJ was very professional, down to earth, understanding and most of all AWESOME!!! AJ catered to our every need and kept the timeline going even when we had to make a little adjustment, we went with it and AJ made it all work. We also had surprises and special dances built into our reception and AJ made it all happen seamlessly. The dance floor rocked all night! AJ productions offers great services and an interactive planning experience, but the real gem of this company is Chris Luciano. He was fabulous. If you have to hire a DJ, he's the one!

AJ Productions came highly recommended and I was very pleased with their DJ services. The online planning tool is very helpful and easy to use. I had selected a few songs from obscure/unknown artists to be played throughout the evening and AJ was able to find all of them. AJ was great at judging the mood of the crowd and playing songs to keep the dance floor packed.

I used AJ for my March 16, 2013 wedding. AJ did a great job! I would 100% recommend AJ. AJ was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. He was in constant communication throughout our planning process. AJ helped us maneuver through his online planning tools which we found to be very helpful. AJ emailed when payments were due and everything was very transparent because everything was online. AJ has a section online where you can request certain songs and add songs to a do not play list. I did not leave the dance floor of my wedding! AJ played great music and the guests loved every minute of it! Thank you AJ!

I had been to a wedding which AJ MC'd and when it came time for Don and I to choose a DJ service for our own wedding the answer was clear. We had a wedding with an eclectic group of people from all ages. AJ is charismatic, funny, outgoing, and can really get the crowd involved which was very important to us. It's hard to put on an event such as a wedding reception without some kinks and we had a few, but AJ helped make on the spot adjustments to our timeline of events so the evening flowed seemlessly for our guests. Everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the Bride and Groom! :) If you want a seasoned professional who knows their craft and will make your evening an everlasting memory then you need to call on AJ!

We met with AJ and decided we liked him and the online website he offered and chose to book him for our wedding reception next fall. His price was about the same as others we had looked into, and we thought he was just what we were looking for. A few days after our meeting, he emailed to follow up and we told him we would like to book him and would send the deposit and contract. Due to the holidays and general busy-ness I didn't put the contract in the mail for 8 days. During that time he emailed multiple times asking where the contract and deposit was which I found unnecessarily pushy and his tone a bit rude. When I finally questioned the pushiness (it had only been 15 days since our first meeting), his was very rude blaming us for taking too long to send the documents. Since everything was already in the mail at this time, I told him I no longer wished to book him and to please return the check and shred the contract, which he did do immediately. I found him very rude, pushy, and hard to work with, which is why I chose to write this review. It was based on reviews of others that I contacted him in the first place, and was surprised how differently my experience was from theirs. Because of that, I thought it was important to share what I experienced with this vendor.

We had TK as our DJ and he did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor! We just wish we had the place longer because everyone wanted to keep the party going once it was over!

I loved working with AJ Productions! Any question I had was answered quickly and I really felt like the company was here to make my wedding awesome. It was very convenient as well to pick all of my songs and fill them in online. I also loved the fact that I could go in to my account and change the songs or timeline anytime I wanted too, even up until the day of the wedding! Ray was our DJ, and he really got the party going and kept it going. Not a lot of our friends and family dance, but Ray got almost everyone out on the dance floor at least once. He played what we wanted and was interactive with the crowd as well. He was a great MC and DJ. Honestly, our wedding would have been very boring without him. The guests are still commenting about how fun Ray was, and I would definitely recommend him and AJ Productions to anyone looking for a good time at their wedding.

AJ was a great DJ! To me, this was one of the most important decisions on vendors for my wedding, because the DJ can make or break the fun level your guests have. When I was considering hiring him, I asked AJ to provide some references, which he did without hesitation. I contacted a few of them, and we joked that they sounded like a paid advertisement, saying things like “AJ made our wedding!” “Our guests raved about what fun they had, and it was all thanks to AJ!” After hiring him for our wedding, I will have to second those comments!! I couldn’t imagine our wedding would have been as fun as it was without AJ. The goal we had for our wedding was that everyone have fun and dance and relax, and AJ was instrumental in achieving this goal! He was so easy to work with, and his website was so helpful in planning out the music. His website offers song suggestions with audio clips for all the different parts of your wedding, or you can search through his extensive database of songs for that special one you are looking for. We had him provide the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and he served as the master of ceremonies, doing the introductions, etc. Everything went flawless! His prices are very affordable, he did a great job keeping the dance floor filled, and was such a pleasure to work with.

We booked AJ Productions over a year before our event and met with TK our DJ 10 months before the big day. He was very knowledgeable and helped us to use exactly all of the songs we wanted to for both the ceremony and the reception. And we had some of the wall selections, let me tell you. His sense of humor was great and he just loved all of our choices. We picked a bunch of specific songs that had to be played for certain things or at certain times but for the rest of the reception we told him to just do his own thing & everyone loved it. With 210 wedding guests and at least 100 on the dance floor at any given time. You know he did a wonderful job.

AJ was an amazing dj at our wedding. Our ceremony and reception took place on the day that Hurricane Irene hit the east coast and the day before the wedding, we had to change our arrangements to move the wedding from 6:00pm outside to 12:00pm inside. AJ was very nice about changing the time of his dj services and helped to keep the schedule running on time during the reception. He was great in getting people on the dance floor and my guests have said how awesome he was.

AJ was the perfect choice for our wedding! He provided music for our ceremony and the reception both and did an amazing job. AJ was an incredible DJ for our wedding. From the start he was an absolute pleasure to work with and so professional. He listened to what our interests were and the type of music we liked. He spent time to get to know what our families and what traditions we would have during the reception. AJ was recommended to us by our reception site, and he exceeded our expectations the entire time. He kept the dance floor packed, and read the crowd so well. We have heard nothing but rave reviews of AJ and how much fun they had at our wedding. Most have said it was the best they had ever been to, and we owe so much of that to AJ! We just cannot say enough great things about him, and would give our highest recommendation to anyone who is considering using his services.

If you want a DJ who doesn't listen to your needs/requests (even after repeated attempts to communicate said requests), who will embarass the bride in front of the whole wedding party by making a disparaging comment, and generally lacks basic customer service, then call on AJ Productions. After frequent attempts to get the DJ to stop playing certain music and follow the program, he carried on with his own agenda. It was disturbing to watch the blatent display of customer disregard. HOW is this company still in business?!

My best friend had an awesome wedding, except for the DJ! He played awful music that no one wanted to hear. THe bride spent time crying in the corner b/c the Dj would not play any of the music she requested. He sucks, DO NOT HIRE!!!

i recently attended my friends wedding and it was wonderful except for one thing they have the worst dj that i had ever seen. He didnt listen to any of the wedding parties needs, he played awful music all night. It looked as if no one enjoyed that portion of the wedding. He literaly was the one sore spot of the night. DO NOT let him ruin your special day. Let all ur prespective brides know too

This DJ service does not listen to the wants and needs of the wedding party. They do not play the songs that are requested. They don't follow the program that is discussed. Worst of all, any complaints you might have fall on deaf ears. You will not receive any money back unless you take it in your own hands. Satisfaction is not guaranteed. DO NOT HIRE!

This was the worst DJ service I've ever seen. They play whatever music they want. They don't follow any of the instructions of the wedding party when it comes to music or the event. The worst part is when you call AJ to complain, all you get is a defensive and angry man that will keep trying to say it's your fault and that you aren't getting any money back. Satisfaction is not guaranteed, use somebody else.
