A great taste of Minnesota. We loved having our rehearsal dinner on an Al and Alma's dinner cruise on Lake Minnetonka. It was a fantastic way to give out of town guests a "taste of Minnesota" and an introduction to lake life. The food and tour were first rate. Enjoyed working with Angie prior to the cruise and the event staff the day of the event. Would highly recommend!

My now Mother and Father in law hosted the most amazing Rehearsal dinner with family and friends on one of the Al & Alma Cruises. The sunset cruise was an incredible ride to share with family and friends the night before our wedding. I could not have asked for a better evening. The food was great and the staff were so kind and accommodating. We were beyond pleased with everything.

We booked our wedding dinner at Al &amp; Alma's on a Saturday afternoon so we could use the main dining room that looks out on Lake Minnetonka. We chose three menu items, steak, walleye and parmesan-crusted chicken. Everything was perfect! The food was great, the servers attentive, bar service was stellar. I would recommend Al &amp; Alma's to anyone having a wedding dinner or a groom's dinner.

My husband Jordan and I got married at the end of July at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina, MN and had our reception aboard the Bella Vista immediately following. We ended up having our wedding on the coldest day in July (who knew it could be winter in July?!) and it was still a wonderful day on the boat! We really were looking for a unique experience for a wedding reception and Al & Alma's offered just that. Our guests were so pleased with the service, amenities, food, and staff! The views of the Lake were still incredible from inside as our guests stayed warm behind the floor to ceiling windows. Jamie was an amazing wedding coordinator as well. She touched base with me up until the day before the reception to make sure I had everything that I needed. I would highly recommend Al & Alma's for a ceremony or reception!

We had our wedding reception on the Bella Vista of Al and Alma's Charter Cruises. I was looking to do something different for our wedding, and this was perfect! We looked a lot of the boats in the area but as soon as we saw this one we knew that was it. And to top it off Jamie was amazing during the whole year of planning! I had so many questions and she was happy to answer them, she even took measurements for me since I was planning from Chicago. The day of the reception went so well, we had the best time and we have some amazing pictures of a gorgeous sunset on the lake! We were able to do everything done in a traditional reception from cake cutting, speeches, a slideshow on their flat screen TV's but the being on the boat made it so much fun. We also didn't do the DJ, we chose our own playlist on an Ipod and it turned out great. The Bella Vista is a beautiful boat and the staff was wonderful, I am so happy we went with them!

Wow! What an evening of perfection. We had the most beautiful Rehearsal Dinner on the Bella Vista boat in the end of August. The chicken and Ribs were fantastic and absolutely perfect. The captain, Jay, was amazing, courteous and always had a smile on his face no matter what questions were asked of him. The staff were incredibly helpful and we had just the most perfect night a bride and groom could ask for. The boat is spacious and has plenty of room for a sit down style meal, should you choose. We were able to show a slide show to our guests on the incredible TV screens also. Speeches went well because the microphone is broadcast throughout the entire boat. The bar is incredible and the boat is decorated so beautifully. Lake Minnetonka is gorgeous and there is no better Charter boat service on the Lake. Having grown up in the area, I can assure you that Al & Alma's is second to NONE. If you are looking for a different style venue for either a wedding or prewedding event to leave a lasting impression on your guests, Al * Almas is just the place. The food, ambiance and staff are just perfect. Jamie and Alma's went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Thank You for making our day so very special. Becca & Paddy

My bridesmaids hosted a portion of my bachelorette party on an Al and Alma's lake cruise. What a GREAT idea! This was the more "low key" portion of the evening and it was fantastic! It was great to be able to include my mom and mother in law in the festivities, because Lord knows they weren't going to go bar hopping with us! Very reasonably priced and a good way to kick off your bachelorette party - a dinner cruise on Lake Minnetonka!? Sign me up! All of the girls who attended had a great time and said it was a great idea! :)

We used Al and Alma's for our rehearsal dinner and had a wonderful experience! The planning of the event was great-they were extremely prompt in their responses to us. The staff on the boat was very professional and extremely friendly. The food was delicious as well, and we enjoyed getting a little tour of some of the notable houses on Lake Minnetonka as well! Overall great experience, and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Al and Alma's was a wonderful venue for our afternoon reception. I had many personalized, special requests, and they happily honored each and every one of them. From our own playlist to a surprise slideshow to our signature drinks, Al and Alma's really came through for us in every way. We highly recommend them!

Jamie at Al & Alma's Charter Cruises was amazing! She helped us from the very beginning with choosing a great menu for our guests, the perfect size boat, and also helped us plan the order of events for our reception. Al & Alma's was by far the best bang for your buck and stood out above all of those other cookie cutter banquet halls we'd researched. Our guests raved about the food and loved the fact that our reception was on a boat which drove us all around Lake Minnetonka all night! They have an awesome set up too for those folks like us who are tight on budget and can't afford a DJ. We were our own DJ's by setting up playlists on our iPod and they will put it over the entire boat for you allowing you to feel as if there were a professional DJ there and honestly, none of our guests complained and loved that we chose the music and there wasn't some lame DJ making them do the Chicken Dance! The staff on the boat were awesome, always getting our guests another drink once they saw that their glass was empty and they cleared away empty dishes to allow for the beauty of the boat to not be cluttered with dirty dishes. It was a great night and seemed simple with no hassle to us thanks to Jamie and her crew at Al & Alma's.

We had so much fun here for our rehearsal dinner. Everybody had a blast. Food was good. It was so nice to just sit back, relax, and enjoy watching the sunset on the lake.
