Fabulous Band Al Sophia! They are amazing. They played at my sister's wedding 5 years ago and then we had to have them again for my wedding last month (Aug 8th) They are accommodating, very easy to work with, and all have amazing voices! I would tell all of my friends to use them if I could. They even let you go listen to them play beforehand so you can hear the real deal. Thanks for making our wedding so fabulous Al Sophia band! When I got engaged, the first thing my dad did was call to see if Al Sofia and his orchestra was available for the day we were thinking of in November, but he wasn't. I wanted a November date so bad, but my dad would not host a wedding without Al. So I had to rethink my timeline and came up with an April date. My dad called Al again and he had it available. So, April it was, and then we went on to looked for the venue and the church. My father, mother, and I met with Al about a two months before the wedding, to go over all the songs we were thinking of for the reception. He was totally onboard and gave many good suggestions as well. Now that my wedding is over, I completely understand why my dad had to have Al Sofia and his orchestra for my wedding. They made the ceremony harmonious and beautiful and the reception a lively, fun, and nonstop party. Al and his orchestra sang a few new songs for us that brought the house down! My fiancé at the time wanted our first dance song to be "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice. He was skeptical at first because it was a country song and about a month before the wedding he said to me, "Do you think Al should just play the recording of it?"... I said, "Absolutely not. We are luckily enough to have an orchestra who is going to sing live for us, you need to trust the professionals." Fast forward to when we got done with our first dance, the first thing that came out of my now husband's mouth was, "Oh my god! He was better than Lee Brice! That was awesome!" It was a moment in time that I will remember forever. Continuing on to my father/daughter dance, Al sang another special rendition of this Frank Sintara song that my dad had to have. Al took this 8 minute song and made it short enough to keep the guests attention and long enough to gather the theme of it. Lastly, our new favorite family party song is "Uptown Funk". Al and his orchestra brought the house down when they sang this! Now post wedding, I am continuously getting rave reviews from all the guests how Al and his orchestra took the party off the charts! I feel so honored to have had Al and his orchestra be apart of our wedding day/night and make it an unforgettable event!

I used Al Sofia for my wedding in December of 2014. They definitely get everyone out of their seats and on the dance floor. I have had a large number of guests request their information as they have never seen such a wonderful band at a wedding. I definitely recommend them!

My husband and I had Al and his band play at our wedding in September. From the moment we hired him, Al was beyond helpful. He had thoughtful suggestions for what to play and really listened to the direction we were going for on our day. They played beautiful instrumental music during cocktail hour, a wonderful selection for dinner, and great dancing music afterwards--our dance floor was jam packed with people throughout the entire evening!! My husband and I had The Al Sofia Band for our wedding last month, and they were amazing! Al sang at our ceremony, the band performed at our reception, and the band's DJ did our after party. They played such a great variety of music throughout the night, which was exactly what we wanted. Our guests have been raving about the music ever since. When Al and his female vocalist sang "The Prayer" during our ceremony, a few of our friends recorded it on their Iphones, and have been saying he was just as good as Bocelli! We would definitely recommend The Al Sofia Band for any wedding or event.

We booked Al Sofia for our wedding and were blown away by how amazing they were! We spent months deliberating over which band to choose, and finally ended up booking Al Sofia. From the very beginning, Al was genuinely helpful and cared about making a personal connection with us. He was very prompt in responding to all my communication leading up to the wedding and was able to accommodate our special requests. The wedding was such a blast. All of our guests were on the dance floor the whole night. Everyone was coming up to us raving about the band - they set such a fun atmosphere that really made the night special for us. They were worth every penny!!

Al Sofia recently played at our wedding and it was above and beyond anything we could have expected. Al was an absolute pleasure to work with; he was professional, prompt and really wanted us to have everything we wanted on our big day. The Al Sofia Band was BEYOND what we had hoped for when it came to our reception music. When planning our reception, a high quality, high energy, "keep everyone on the dance floor" band was what we always envisioned and we were not disappointed!!! Al was helpful in the planning leading up the the wedding and was able to provide us with suggestions while still following our vision for the type of music we wanted played. The band was absolutely amazing the night of our wedding! They read the flow of the crowd and the music matched. The music catered to all crowds and there was never an empty spot on the dance floor. Our guests often comment on how GREAT the band and music were. They made our night so special and we were sad to see it end! We highly recommend any of the bands services. Al Sofia went above an beyond for our wedding. Al was such a pleasure to work with, besides all the phone calls and emails he sent, Al took the time to meet with us just to do a run though of how the day would play out with his band! Al Sofia and his band wowed our 200 guests at our wedding August 17, 2013! My fiancee and I hired Al Sofia a year in advance, and throughout the entire process he was professional, kind, and personable. Leading up to the wedding, Al was extremely responsive to any questions we had. Everything went perfectly the day of the event-- he even learned our first dance song and sang it special for us. Our guests were dancing all night long and Al made sure the dance floor was packed! The band's energy was so amazing that we ended up paying for them to stay longer than we originally anticipated! Overall, Al might be a little more expensive than some bands, but he and his orchestra are WELL worth the money and you absolutely won't regret your decision to hire them!

Excellent band. Got everyone up dancing. Everyone said they loved the band. Very accommodating as well. MC-ed the wedding and went with the flow when things ran behind. Great band.

I cannot begin to say enough praise for Al Sofia Music. We hired Al Sofia Music to provide a three piece string ensemble during our ceremony, a harpist during cocktails, and Al Sofia himself along with two female vocalists and orchestra during the reception and could not be happier. Al Sofia and his fellow musicians hit all the right notes singing everything from Big Band to Contemporary music bringing everyone to the dance floor throughout the night. We especially appreciated the time Al took before our wedding to understand us, our hopes for the day and our varied musical tastes. He is a true professional. Our guests are still raving about Al Sofia Music.

The Al Sofia Orchestra came highly recommended when choosing the band for our wedding, and they completely and totally exceeded our expectations. I really cannot say that enough. You really can tell how successful a wedding is by how crowded the dance floor is and for how long. Because of the Al Sofia Orchestra, our wedding was a HUGE success. They kept our guests, young and old, on their feet and dancing the ENTIRE evening. Playing everything from Frank Sinatra to Train, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Bringing with him about 9 very talented musicians and singers, Al was a pleasure to work with. He took requests, nailed our wedding song (that he learned for us), and even sang beautifully at our ceremony at the request of my wife. He also served as a fine emcee and even lead our guests in the pre-dinner prayer. His sound engineers and video folks rounded out the fantastic service by handling the playing of our slideshow. Needless to say, from top to bottom, we were 100% satisfied with the level of service we received. I would recommend the Al Sofia Orchestra to anyone who is having a wedding, graduation, bar mitzfah, birthday, or Tuesday :-). Our wedding would have nowhere near been what it was without them!

Al Sofia and his orchestra played at our wedding and he was truly a blessing to work with. He and his musicians played at our ceremony as well as our reception. Guests are still complimenting me on how beautiful our ceremony music was and how amazing the reception was - all because of Al. People did not stop dancing the entire night. Al is an absolute pleasure to work with and his talent brings the house down. I can't say enough fantastic things about the Al Sofia Orchestra. They truly made our wedding the spectacular celebration I had hoped for - from start to finish! Thank you so much Al!

We have had many compliments on how great the band was. They are very talented, kept the crowd going, and kept us on the dance floor all night. My one complaint is that Al said he would be at the venue at 5:45 to prep for the 6:20 bridal party introductions. We were all ready and lined up to go, but Al was no where to be found. My husband asked a guy from Al's tech group, and he said Al thought it started at 7pm. I don't buy this, we had just spoken to Al a few days prior and ran through everything. He arrived at 6:30, ran right passed us not saying anything, and rushed to get ready. The rest of the dances and speeches were hectic, out of order, and not what we had discussed with him. I'm not sure I would recommend Al Sofia. They were great, but he seemed a bit of a diva that night.

Really can't say enough good about Al Sofia and his band. They are great people and they are amazing at what they do and they could not have done more to make sure that our wedding day was perfect. The music is great. They are pricey, but if you are wanting a live band (which I would highly recommend) they are who you should go with. People could not have had more fun nor could they have said enough good about them at the wedding and after the wedding. Everything was just great! Al spent time with me over the phone getting all the details, announcements, schedule and names accurate. He was so easily accessible over the phone and via email. He had an idea of the kind of music I wanted just by getting a few emails from me. They do such a great job and we were so very happy with them. They even gave us a chance to go to an event and hear them in action before us deciding and signing with them which was so nice of them. All good things - they are amazing and I would recommend them to everyone and anyone! We also had Al Sofia for our ceremony and his voice was just beautiful. Same case here - I would have chosen anyone else. Simply amazing!

If you want to keep your guests entertained and dancing all night we highly recommend Al Sofia Band. I can't tell you how many people raved about how great a time they had because of the band. They are able to perform a wide variety of music for all ages. Al Sofia was very easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend Al Sofia band if you are considering having a band at your wedding.

Al and his orchestra were outstanding! A few years ago I had heard them at a friends wedding. So when I was getting married this year, I thought I would see if they were still performing. Sure enough and they were willing to come to Wisconsin. We chose to have a pianist during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner time and then had a 9-piece orchestra/band during the reception. Al was great to work with and he and his band were amazing. Guests commented throughout the night on how wonderful the group sounded, many wanting to know where we found them. I would highly recommend the Al Sofia Orchestra for anyone who wants an elegant and memorable event.

Al Sofia and his band came to me by recommendation after two people I know used him for their weddings. People could not stop talking about how fabulous his band was. Without hearing him in person - I booked and boy did I make a good decision! Al was a true dream to work with - he is so friendly and helpful. I was sad when the wedding was over because I didnt have an excuse to email Al to chat! Al has an amazing voice and his band can truly play anything. Our wedding was over a month ago and I am still getting compliments on the band. I have had my 20 something friends ask where they can go see him play and our 60 something neighbors tell me they have never danced so much at a wedding as they did at ours. When Al played his last song of the night, all of our guests chanted "one more song" until the band started playing again. Al truly plays the crowd and has a way of appealing to every person and every generation. I would recommend Al and his band to any bride wanting to keep the dance floor packed from first song to last.

Al Sofia and his band were fantastic at my wedding. They performed the church music which guests couldn't stop complimenting. They also played during our cocktail hour which provided a great background music and ambiance. The highlight of the evening was during the reception. Al learned our 1st dance song and sang it beautifully. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor all night once the party really got started and that was thanks to Al and the band!!!! They are highly recommended :)
