Julie B was my head wedding planner and from the first day I met her, I knew she was going to give the attention to detail I needed to have an unforgettable wedding. With a 10-month engagement we had time to plan all the details I never imagined that would go into a wedding. With our wedding being black tie, it was an over the top extravagant evening and Jennifer and Julie helped answer any question I had and always responded quickly to my many emails. They also were both creative and gave me ideas to personalize things. Day of Julie and Rachel were there the entire time. I also was excited that owner Jennifer came before another wedding she had to make sure everything was in place and to say congrats! Julie and Rachel worked over time throughout the entire evening. If there was any hiccups that happened I was not aware. From start to finish I could not have asked for a better experience and just awesome women that really do love what they do. Would recommend GWC for any bride!

t was really worth the upgrade. The month before our wedding, my mind was completely at ease knowing that Crimson had everything under control. She was very organized and was willing to go the extra mile when I asked for help with certain things, like creating timelines for my family and for my bridal party, in addition to our master timeline. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I didn't notice. Our team was so on top of everything. They seemed calm the entire night and were always one step ahead. The wedding flow was flawless in my opinion.

ow to start and then I met Jennifer. We started working with her and the rest of the team about a year and a half before the wedding. Through venue and date changes Jennifer, Crimson and Aundria were there to help make my life easier and to help calm me down! Their vendor suggestions were the best and they were so helpful in scheduling meetings. In the weeks before the wedding things were really getting crazy and getting switched around. They were all there to help me make changes and again, to keep me calm! Then the day came and I cannot say how grateful I was to have Jennifer and her team there. I didn't have to worry about one thing the entire night, she made sure everything was running smoothly and on schedule. It really allowed me to actually enjoy the day! I don't think I'll ever be able to thank Jennifer, Crimson, and Aundria enough for all the help they gave me and for creating such a perfect wedding for both of us!

ere many little details that I didn’t know how to handle. When trying to come up with a timeline for myself I also started to realize I had no idea how I would pull off decorating our reception hall given the timing; Jennifer and her team did a fabulous job with setting out everything exactly as I had envisioned and my friends/family were able to not worry about getting to the church on time. Jennifer and Crimson also did a great job coordinating everyone and making sure the vendors knew when/where they were supposed to be. They also saved the day several times on our wedding. While taking pictures, our wedding party got badly bitten by lots of mosquitos; by the time we arrived at the church Crimson was there ready with allergy meds. Then 2 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle I realized I was dying of thirst and felt like I would pass out; Crimson rapidly found me water. Then after the wedding was over, we got word that the bar tenders had arrived late and the alcohol that we had purchased was in a locked fridge and the venue coordinator who had the key hadn’t shown up. Crimson assured me the situation was being handled and I felt oddly calm. I could hear Jennifer with the vendors on the other end of the line and was instantly glad I had picked a coordinator with a very strong personality who gets things done. :) Everything was resolved before the guests even arrived to cocktail hour. The last major fiasco that was diverted involved my dress. Jennifer had advised us to practice bustling the dress; however, in the rush to get all our pictures done before the start of the ceremony, we ran out of time. We later discovered that the threads that were suppose to hold the bustle had ripped-- we were supposed to go into the hall in 10 minutes to do our first dance, which was a choreographed dance that we had spent months taking lessons for. The dance involved multiple lifts/dips and couldn’t be done without the dress bustled. As my heart sank, Crimson ran in with needle and a thread and my mother redid the bustle by hand. Jennifer meanwhile stalled guests by extending cocktail hour. I later asked several guests and no one noticed that the reception started late or that my dress had been bustled at the last minute. Jennifer also provided décor suggestions and I loved that I could rent quite a few items directly from her. I also loved that I knew I was getting the opinion of someone with a lot of experience--- for example, she suggested adding sequence table runners, which my husband and I were initially very hesitate about but decided to just trust her judgment, and it turned out beautifully. I have since had several people asked me if a coordinator is necessary. I have told them all I would 100% recommend it and for brides-to-be in the area, I would recommend Jennifer and her team. My peace of mind allowed me to enjoy our day so much more, and also allowed my family/friends to not be responsible for fixing the inevitable little (or big!) hiccups that will happen. I was able to enjoy being in the moment, a feeling is truly priceless (although this team is affordable and definitely worth it!). Thank you again for making our special day one that we will always fondly remember!

From the moment I got in contact with Jennifer’s team they were amazing. I was first in touch with Samantha who was so sweet and extremely helpful, when I found out that Avery would be working my wedding and the lead planner for my wedding I was sad to not work with Samantha. However, Avery was absolutely amazing. Avery was responsive to every email (no matter how many I sent her in one day), she met me far out at the wedding venue for my walk through with all my vendors, she paid attention to every detail and was helpful every step of the way with whatever I threw at her. Aundria was assisting Avery and was a primary point of contact as well. Aundria was extremely organized and made sure to communicate all the time line details to vendors and the entire GWC team. When the wedding weekend finally came, Avery and Aundria executed every step of the way and everything went off without a hitch and most importantly they made me calm and comfortable the entire day. Jennifer was also able to make it for the ceremony and showed up with a useful and helpful emergency day bag! I am type-A personality and I notice when any detail is out of place, but Avery, Aundria, and Jennifer made my wedding absolutely perfect. If anything did go wrong, I still don’t even know. I could not thank these girls enough for all their work, support, and efforts for my special day. I would recommend them 10 times over again to anyone, my entire family was extremely happy with all they did for us. Thank you girls!

Both of them were there for my vendor walkthrough and without them there I would’ve been overwhelmed and confused. They took care of sending out all the information to my vendors so I didn’t have to worry about that and provided me with a very detailed schedule which helped me picture the day easier. Also, they decorated my venue with items that I provided them as well as items I rented from them. Let’s just say they made everything look absolutely beautiful! We made the decision to hire Georgia Wedding Consultants (GWC) after having some pitfalls with our venue Park Tavern and specifically their Director of Sales, Lauren. We knew we would need help in those last two months and GWC offered the perfect package. Other planners only offered one month of planning but GWC had the best plan for the money, two months worth of planning assistance. We got the assistance of two fantastic planners, Stephani and Jennifer who were with me all the way to the end and that was comforting. Like I said before when it is your wedding you have no concept of space or time and Stephani and Jennifer keep you in the moment and on schedule. They took the responsibility of managing all the vendors. It is their job to remember the details that you will most likely forget. Every consultation was friendly but also organized to get decisions on final plans. In moments of stress I was able to email Stephani or Jennifer and they would respond immediately and take care of whatever issue. They gave me the peace of mind I needed in those last two months to focus on being a bride and enjoying this special time. Wedding planners do more than help plan a wedding they are problem solvers, managers, friends and personal assistants.

ole wedding! They had me impressed from the get-go. The moment I knew I was unable to do this myself I went on "The Knot" and emailed a couple local wedding planners that had good scores and weren't going to break the bank. They were the only ones that emailed me back immediately (and it was on a Sunday night!!). They set up a meeting in a couple days and drove all the way to the Starbucks closest to us to meet. They were hired on the spot. They were completely attentive from day1 all the way through. I never had a question go unanswered and never stressed over anything for longer than a day before Jennifer or Stephani had it handled. Even stuff I said I could handle they went above and beyond and got it done for me before I could even begin to start. They know how to treat their brides right! They were able to find the perfect venue for us even before we had really figured out what we wanted. I told them characteristics that I thought I wanted and BAM she found the best venue within my budget. Oh and believe me they will keep you within budget. I had a pretty ridiculous budget for food (considering I needed it for 200 people) and Jen found the most amazing caterer in my budget. The moment she told me she found someone who could actually make good food (other than hamburgers or BBQ) for the price I needed, I nearly cried. They are miracle workers. I really can't put into words how much they did for my wedding. All I can say is I would recommend them to anyone who will listen, I would scream it from the mountains if it helped. They are astounding at what they do and love every wedding (bride and groom included) that they are a part of. They will make you feel pampered and taken care of through the whole process and never let you down! They will make you and your wedding the most beautiful thing you can imagine and make the process as easy as possible. To put it simply, they will be the best fairy-godmothers you could ever wish for!!!!

They did an amazing job setting up the reception site, from the cupcake toppers to constructing the photo booth backdrop. Stephanie in particular was awesome!! I wish I could attach the photo of her sewing the train of my dress up with a needle and thread that she ran and got at CVS in between the pictures and the ceremony (my fiancee stepped on my dress and ripped the tulle right before the ceremony). I would highly recommend GWC for day of coordination, they were totally worth it!

Her ability to adapt to changes in situations she has not experienced before shows her truly excellent character and ability to solve problems extremely well. Jen kept us abreast, on time, and up to date on everything we needed to know on our schedule. Since my husband and I work during the day Jen was more than flexible with the times to work with us. The fact that she strove to make sure we stayed on budget was incredible. I couldn't have appreciated that enough. The only thing I wish I had done differently was to have Jennifer and her staff work with me from day 1. She would have saved me a lot of headache (and money!) with everything that needed to get done. You will not be disappointed when you choose to work with the best!

I quickly learned how much time and attention she spent on each and every client by her attention to detail and weekly check in calls. When I hired Jen as a day of coordinator, I assumed I would meet with her a time or two and then see her on my wedding day. All I really expected was someone who would show up to make sure things ran smoothly. After all, I assumed I just needed someone to make sure the cake arrived and the groomsmen knew when to walk down the aisle. This was not the case. Jen stayed in contact with me every week for the 8 months leading up to the wedding. She offered vendor suggestions, cost saving tips, and most importantly she was my go to when I just felt like giving up. Jen offered to come and help me with my DIY projects and was always a call away when I needed her. There were even times when she would step away from her own family after hours or on Sundays because I was calling. She certainly could have waited until work hours to return my calls but she didn't because she CARES. I certainly never expected this out of her but she'd always return my call saying "I just had to check in on you, is everything okay?" Hiring Jen alleviated all of my stress because I never doubted that anything would go wrong under her supervision. Many of my friends often told me, you seem so calm and my response was, "Well, I have an amazing coordinator." As the weeks turned into days, Jen assured me that everything was going to be great and beautiful and I knew it would be and IT WAS! We had talked in great length about how the day would flow and how the venue would be decorated but Jen and her staff really made my fairytale a reality. On my wedding day, all I had to do was show up. Jen called me the morning of to assure me all of the vendors knew when to arrive and that everything was going to be perfect. had a very tight budget, too, and to be honest, I had really given up on having the "wedding of my dreams" once I realized how expensive venues in the greater metro Atlanta area could be. I cannot tell you how big a sigh of relief I heaved after talking with Jennifer for the first time! When she met with us for a consultation, she truly went above and beyond. She was professional, organized, and very prepared- but Jennifer was certainly not inflexible, either! She came to the consultation with great ideas, asked my fiance, parents and I all what was important to us, and we were all able to bounce great ideas off of one another. I got into the car after our first meeting and couldn't stop talking about ideas we had all brainstormed together. For the first time in months I was actually excited about planning our wedding!!! Georgia Wedding Consultants has all of the connections we would ever need, Jennifer never once pushed us to go outside of our budget of $10,000 (a small number to begin with, then place that into the Atlanta area...), and she was full of great money saving ideas that didn't compromise our vision of a great wedding. To top it all off, I really and truly got the sense that I was working with an overall wonderful person. Perhaps that is the most important part of hiring a wedding planner. Jennifer is definitely a professional, and I wouldn't doubt her business and negotiation skills for a second, but she actually cares about the bride (and the groom and parents and everyone involved!). A point of general advice for brides looking for wedding planners: a flat, upfront rate is very reassuring when you have a tight budget. One of the reasons we chose to go with Jennifer was that, regardless of our budget, we would be treated exactly the same as any other bride, simply because she charges the same amount for everyone- as opposed to using a percentage to determine the rates. I have gotten the impression from other planners that use a percentage system that those with the larger budgets are going to get the most attention (I mean, 7% of 10,000 is very different from 7% of 100,000). Also- if a planner doesn't come very prepared to your consultation, ask yourself how prepared they're going to be on your wedding day! Loooong review short: WONDERFUL WEDDING PLANNING SERVICE!!!!
