getting to know him as a person AND an artist (very important). Our engagement photos were scheduled in early September, but Hurricane Harvey originally messed up travel plans. But that did not stop him. Though the traffic was insane, he still came for our engagement shoot!! He made it so easy for my husband and I to be ourselves and truly have fun. The pictures came out PHENOMENAL! On our wedding day, Jide went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get the perfect shot (even in the literal sense lol). He is hilarious and so fun to be around. The team arrived bright and early and immediately became part of the wedding getting ready crew. He immediately makes you feel comfortable and loosens you up. My family immediately fell in love with Jide and his second shooter (Charmi Patel Peña) making it super easy for them to get amazing shots of everyone. They crew were all so fun and easy to work with. I was very anti posed shots, but the team laughing pushed us and so we went with it. I am so glad we did! Less than a month after the wedding, we had our images and we were absolutely blown away. The images are rich, dramatic and filled with the laughter of the day. We have had a terrible time trying to pick our favorites for albums and thank you cards - we truly love too many. The team was amazing, I'm so glad Jide and Charmi were there to capture our day and would absolutely recommend Alakija Studios to anyone else who might be looking.

Jide, his wife Dele, and the assistant photog were amazing at keeping the atmosphere light and fun and made this camera-shy girl feel much more comfortable during the posed photos.
