Jide is by far the best and most consistent photographer that. I ave come across. I met him while I was a MOH 6 years ago and bumped into him at many events and I have been waiting...
to work with him since!
We had to downsize our wedding due to covid and it was so important for us to have the pictures be perfect, so that we could share them with the family and friends that were unable to attend. Since we shifted to a micro wedding, we were flexible and I literally asked about his availability to help me narrow down a date and luckily he was available.
The pictures turned out beautiful. Jide went above and beyond to make us and our friends comfortable and picture ready (with all the pose/location suggestions). His passion for his work really comes through, which is exciting and a whole part of what I was hoping for. You literally spend the whole day with him and his team and that energy is so welcome the day of.
In addition, we got our pictures back in record time and we've been obsessed with the ability of being able to relive the memories. Even things we didn't get to see day of!
Would highly recommend!
Words cannot express how grateful we are to have Jide & his team capture our special day. His attention to detail, and the artistry he brings when capturing images is non-comparabl...
e. We are so enamored by his work, we are ordering every picture from our wedding album. If you’ve made it this far and are reading this, trust me Jide is your man.
Jide came to us as a recommendation from a close friend. My wife and I are extremely happy and thankful we followed up. Jide provided quality work, a unique style but most importan...
tly great personality. The energy he brought during our event was amazing. He has a way of making you feel comfortable while taking pictures and pays attention to details you didn't even know existed. We truly loved him, his professionalism, his kindness, his direction, and his creativeness. I truly recommend him, he is such a comfortable photographer and overall person to work with. Our families and friends loved him and raved about the quality work he produces.
We are truly honored by the fact that Jide (Alakija Studios) shot our wedding reception. What this man can do with a camera is mind-blowing and breath-taking. Jide is the real deal...
with a camera in his hand, but what separates him from the pack is that he is a genuinely nice, warm man. We met with Jide before our wedding day to discuss all of our photography needs. When you have the portfolio and following that Alakija Studios does, it would be easy and understandable to not care all that much about the input of two non-photographers and non-experts. However, Jide made sure that all of our wishes and desires were accounted for. When you think about it, you really place a lot of trust in your photographer for your wedding day. You are going to have one wedding, so the shots have to be perfect. You have one chance at capturing the magic. Jide knew exactly what to do and navigated our wedding day like a world-class professional. He understood lighting, angles, and positioning, all the while being a kind soul. This will not be the last time we work with Jide or Alakija Studios. We could not be happier with the moments that were captured. Our hearts are full and we will owe Alakija Studios forever.
By far one of the best photographers out there. And we did a lot of research looking for someone who would give us our dream pictures. Olajide did just that. He teaches and has sem...
inars for other photographers so clearly he is great at what he does. He was very professional while also being personal during our wedding. We had a destination wedding and He made sure to keep us involved in all of his planning and processes. He met with us to get to know us more personally and took extra measures to make sure he executed. He truly tells a story with his pictures. Me and my guests started tearing up again when we got the pictures back because he was able to capture the emotions of the day. I wouldn’t pick anyone else! Trust me, this is who you want taking your pictures!!

d out stunning and our Wedding portraits were absolutely beautiful. I’ve received a lot of compliments on them. He was easy to reach, arrived on time, responded to all of my questionnaire in a timely manner. What else could you ask for?
I think majority of women have, in some form or shape, planned elements of their wedding day before ever actually meeting the man of their dreams. I knew one of the biggest element...
s of my wedding day that I was not willing to bargain with, was the photographer of the day. As soon as Elliott proposed, I already knew who I wanted our photographer to be. Infact, aside from our planner and our venue, Alakija studios was the very next company we booked for our special day. Looking at The work of Alakija Studios, you just knew that this man had a 3rd eye. I hope I can find the words to aptly describe the genius behind the lens. The difference was always clear in comparing him to other photographers. You can sense the passion, the level of detail, the radiating enthusiasm in all his work. Months before our wedding, Alakija continuously struck up conversations to understand us as a couple, versus just showing up on the day and snapping away. He learned - fully digested our story - and he used it in capturing our wedding day. This man has literally been booked to capture weddings all over the world, yet he humbly embraces every client as if they are the most important client in the world. Needless to say, all the photos were breathtaking and we received teasers the very next day! I am so thankful that we made the right decision in choosing Alakija Studios. LISTEN! If you want the story of your special day to be told for years to come in pictures, hire Alakija Studios! The professionalism is unparalleled and his skillset is unsurpassed. Thank you so much! Because of you and your team, we have proof and we will never forget the epic-ness that was 8.18.18!
The incomparable Jide and his team did an amazing job for not only our engagement photos but also our wedding photos. My husband does not like to take pictures and sometimes can be...
difficult as a result. I myself am also camera shy. Jide is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable in front of the cameras. Everyone thought he was amazing just because of his personality alone. Our engagement and wedding photos came out amazing. It was very rich in color and his shots were amazing. He captured the moments that we can look at for years to come. Thanks Jide for doing a phenomenal job with documenting one of the best days of our lives.

urcefully getting unique frames from just 2 outfits, and highly creative.
in addition, his customer service is exemplary as he made us feel at ease, and ended the shoot by introducing us to his favorite shake.
What can I say about the most amazing photographer? My husband and I both work in the wedding industry so we come across many photographers. But when it came time to choose our own...
wedding photographer there was no doubt in our mind that Alakija Studios was the one. We were so impressed by Jide’s talent and knew immediately that his documentary style was what we wanted to capture the best day of our lives. His personality on the wedding day was just what we needed to feel relaxed so that we could get the best possible photos. The first time I looked at our gallery I was brought to tears. I still look at my photos in awe and I can’t believe we were lucky enough to have him document our day. Please do not hesitate to book him! He is highly sought after for a reason. You won’t regret it!
Alakija Studios was the top photographer I dreamed of working with for my wedding. His amazing eye for color and light is mesmerizing. Our consultation call was full of laughs and ...
getting to know him as a person AND an artist (very important).
Our engagement photos were scheduled in early September, but Hurricane Harvey originally messed up travel plans. But that did not stop him. Though the traffic was insane, he still came for our engagement shoot!! He made it so easy for my husband and I to be ourselves and truly have fun. The pictures came out PHENOMENAL!
On our wedding day, Jide went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get the perfect shot (even in the literal sense lol). He is hilarious and so fun to be around. And most importantly, his passion for his work illuminates the room. Thank you Jide!
I'm not sure where to start with Jide. We could not be happier with the service we received. When we contacted Alakija studios about our wedding, Jide contacted us promptly and we ...
had a wonderful consultations to make sure he and his team knew what we wanted from our photos, what we liked and what we didn't.
The team arrived bright and early and immediately became part of the wedding getting ready crew. He immediately makes you feel comfortable and loosens you up. My family immediately fell in love with Jide and his second shooter (Charmi Patel Peña) making it super easy for them to get amazing shots of everyone. They crew were all so fun and easy to work with. I was very anti posed shots, but the team laughing pushed us and so we went with it. I am so glad we did!
Less than a month after the wedding, we had our images and we were absolutely blown away. The images are rich, dramatic and filled with the laughter of the day. We have had a terrible time trying to pick our favorites for albums and thank you cards - we truly love too many.
The team was amazing, I'm so glad Jide and Charmi were there to capture our day and would absolutely recommend Alakija Studios to anyone else who might be looking.

ot our crazy Indian wedding. Jide, his wife Dele, and the assistant photog were amazing at keeping the atmosphere light and fun and made this camera-shy girl feel much more comfortable during the posed photos. Jide has a really warm personality and he connected beautifully to my family and friends. His photos are beautiful and capture very real (not just posed) moments of the wedding that make me remember the day for what it really was.
