Alamo City Cookies

I wish I could upload pics of how beautiful the cookies and cake pops came out! Ordering was easy but luckily I'm super type A and ordered them 6 months in advance, she told me that she books about 2 months out on average. I found out about her when I took a cookie decorating class to try and make them myself for my bridal shower...it was fun but realizing it took me 2 hours to decorate 8 cookies, I was in no way going to do them myself. Honestly, I did shop around because I wasn't sure how much cookies were supposed to cost but other people were charging about $40-$48 a dozen and when I sampled their cookies, they did not compare in taste. These cookies are nice and soft, buttery, and the icing isn't rock hard like most others. I chose the mixed dozen to save on pricing but it worked out because some people just wanted a small bite sized cookie and some wanted to take the other ones home for their kids to share. She was doing a special at the time for every order, you get a free dozen cake pops and I definitely took advantage of this. I chose the chocolate cake with chocolate dipping and omg, they were like delicious fudgy brownies and everyone couldn't stop talking about them. Some people were upset because I didn't order more than the free dozen, big mistake on my part but who knew they'd be so delicious! Tips for this vendor: Order early to get on her calendar and splurge on the cake pops.
