s than Gina, and the staff at the Inn were fantastic all-around. I had people in their 80's and 90's telling me that ours was the warmest, loveliest and most personal wedding they'd ever been to, and I have to give a great deal of credit to Gina and the staff at Alamoosook, they really did a phenomenal job in making our day special. I will never forget that day, and I cannot thank them enough!

and her staff were incredible— professional but incredibly warm, and made our guests (which included young, rambunctious children) feel as if they were at home. The site is located away from main roads, and is not only pictueresque but quiet as well. The food was also great— tasty, hot, and the guests seemed to really like it. All of our guests were talking about how much fun they had— in short, get married here. You won’t regret it.

n our part where the venue is so beautiful on its own. Gina is the best to work with, very accommodating and flexible and accessible when questions arise. We ended up DIYing our own flowers and she was great at providing us a work space outside to make the bouquets the nigut before. We provided lawn games for our guests and they were a hit. Everyone gravitates outside after dinner because it is just a nice setting. Several guests commented on the food and attentiveness of the wait staff. This is a great venue for a relaxed lakeside wedding!

(thank you for the stuff mushrooms) We had booked the entire Inn for our family and friends. We were able to setup the day before so we could relax the morning of the wedding was very helpful. Gina was a gem to work with from start to finish. Gina and her staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly. I would highly recommend the Alamoosook Lakeside Inn to everyone. The perfect location to begin a lifetime of wonderful memories!

t was so nice to have the ceremony and reception in one location and the setting is absolutely stunning! It was a beautiful sunny weekend up until our ceremony time where it completely poured so we ended up moving the ceremony inside. Gina made the transition inside so easy! All we had to say was that we wanted it inside and everything just happened! We chose to do a buffet and the food was excellent (we heard tons of positive feedback on the appetizers too but unfortunately we missed those!) All the staff were wonderful too!! We booked the entire Inn for the whole family to stay at and they loved it! Gina let us set up most of the tables the day before which was really helpful. I would highly recommend Alamoosook for a wedding!

erfect setting. We planned an outside ceremony with the option of an outside cocktail hour. Gina and her staff made it all possible even with a stray thunder shower occurring before the ceremony. The weather cleared and the lake was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. Gina was very responsive and accommodated us with our questions and “last minute” details. We also found Gina willing to customize a buffet menu that we only heard positive compliments on and more than enough food was prepared. We had our entire event at Alamoosook with our lakeside ceremony and reception inside the Inn’s banquet room. This definitely made our wedding flow smoothly and was very convenient for us and our guests. I would highly recommend Alamoosook to anyone near or far looking for a lakeside venue. Thanks to Gina and her staff, we were able to have the lakeside wedding that we had always hoped for.

out from behind the clouds and it helped create an even more perfect atmosphere. Leading up to the event, Gina and her staff were extremely accessible and accommodating. Any questions I had were quickly answered by Gina herself, and she clearly had a strong grasp on her staff’s abilities and the venue itself. Due to dietary restrictions, I had specially requested some gluten-free appetizers and not only were those gluten-free items delicious, they were properly labelled for guests and their knowledge of gluten-free foods was very impressive to both myself and those attending who were also gluten-sensitive. The rapport with the vendors was impeccable and everyone was flexible with my needs and requests. The Escort of the Bride commented after the ceremony that it was the smoothest-run wedding he had been to of the several he had attended in the past four years. My husband was just in awe at the surroundings and how much of a peaceful vibe he got from the venue, and was overjoyed when the weather turned from overcast to sunny at the right moment and has remarked that he could see himself enjoying a normal stay at the Inn. Wedding guests who stayed at the inn were impressed with the Inn’s setup and throwback, yet modern feel. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking to have a wonderful wedding, or a getaway from life in the city. Thank you once again to Gina and her staff for everything. Kerry Hafford

he reception room was large but inviting. They had a pizza buffet. The pizza was delicious, especially the chicken alfredo pizza. The best white pizza I have eaten. All of the staff and the owner, Gina, are professional and friendly. I highly recommend this Inn. Thank you for making my daughter's wedding everything she wanted it to be!

ery helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. Gina the owner was extremely helpful in suggesting other vendors and guest lodging since we were not familiar to the area. She answered all of our emails very quickly and we seriously would have been lost without her. All of the food was made onsite at the Inn and we got tons of compliments on the appetizers and the dinner by all the guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyyone looking to have a woodsy/lakeside wedding

Inn are well-maintained, and has lots of great locations for photos. The food was fantastic and there was a good variety of options to select from. Gina, the innkeeper, was very helpful at every step of the process--from beginning to look at the property, answering questions, re-answering questions that we forgot the answers to, and overall just making us feel relaxed and comfortable with hosting our wedding there. She took the time to explain how the guests would flow from outside to inside, where specific tables would be placed, and how the entire day would look. The staff was super friendly and ensured that everything was as we wanted it. Overall, we were super impressed with how everything went on our big day, and we couldn't imagine having it anywhere else!

oukd still definitely choose them again. My only advice would be to go with what you want. The coordinator of the venue, Gina, likes to try to do things her way but if you want something different, speak up! They will accommodate you.
