My experience at Alan David Custom was perfect! Alan was a pleasure to work with and was really helpful in helping me decide what to choose. It seemed like there was an infinite selection of fabrics, styles, and customization which really allowed me to get everything I wanted in my wedding tux. When the tux was ready for me to try on, it was amazing! The quality of the tux is top-notch, the fit is perfect, and it was made exactly how I wanted it. I received more compliments on my tux than I could've expected. Even our photographer said it was the nicest suit/tuxedo he’d seen at any of the weddings he worked on. As a bride who loved shopping with a groom who HATES shopping, looking for a suit for the wedding could have been dreadful. All I can say is thank goodness for Alan David Custom. Alan, the gracious owner, made my husband a stunning, top-quality suit as well as many beautiful shirts. The service was exceptional as Alan and all of the employees there had so much patience and an understanding of what we were looking for. The office was a very comfortable and warm environment where we felt the employees treated us with respect and gave us a very personable experience. When I saw my husband in his Tux for the first time at our wedding I was in tears, he looked so handsome. The tux was perfectly made for him, and fit like a glove. For sure the best custom tuxedos nyc has to offer! I searched online and found Alan David. I was impressed with their website and went for a consult. Luckily I got to meet with the owner Allen who explained so many things to me that I never would have known. I am telling you even if you dont want to but the guy is just full of knowledge. He explained to me the difference between made-to-measure and bespoke. He told me how to really care for the suit and wedding day tips which are priceless. Anyway, I liked what I heard so I made an appt and ordered a medium grey solid Loro Piana fabric with black lapels and black pants. The measurement process was pretty overwhelming-there are a lot of them so for you picky brides and grooms take note of this. I wanted a very slim fit (and of course I am not the slimmest person). Things like high armholes and tapered sleeves and narrow shoulders. I left feeling confident especially since they have a 100% money back guarantee. I also liked the fast turnaround time and the fact the garments are not made oversea. About 4 weeks later the tux was ready-GORGEOUS! Great fit, really great. Very minor adjustments. I do have to say it was more than I wanted to pay but it was so very worth it! The Tux jacket and pant were about $2500 plus the tax. I will be going back, thanks Allen and Elsie who is so nice on the phone and the whole team, you made it so easy. Highly recommend.
