Alaska Heavenly Lodge

Alaska Heavenly Lodge is an amazing venue. Our wedding was a dream and the property has its own level of privacy while providing a lot of room for yard games and hanging out! The mosquitos weren’t bad at all considering we were tucked back in the mountains. Each cabin has its own unique feel and our honeymoon suite (Russian River Cabin) was so much fun with the pool table and hot tub! Katy and Brian are such a nice and helpful couple! They were quick to respond with any questions/needs I had as well as giving us space to enjoy the property. Katy went above and beyond to have our party rental tents delivered and set up a day early before we arrived and Brian was alway on top of grabbing our trash in the morning. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to have an event here.

Alaska Heavenly Lodge was a combination of the very best Hosts, resources, location and accommodations. 2020 has been an unpredictable and trying year for us all, living in these uncertain, difficult and overall scary days of pandemic.  Alaska Heavenly Lodge is the sole reason I was able to be married despite the current state of the world and have the wedding of my dreams. This place allowed me to reunite with my family in an incredible way, while I was joined to a new Family and said my vows to the man I love.   One visit to AHL had me in love with the property, the crew and Katy and Brian,  its hosts.   Conversations with them throughout the process of planning....and thank you COVID-19....re planning this event ( over and over again ) put all of my worries at ease. They were able to troubleshoot  any of my concerns,  provide answers to all of my questions, assisted with all of my other vendors, helped brainstorm activities, created many tools and documents to assist in organizing the event, were ALWAYS available, helpful and kind, but most importantly were extremely  professional and worked with me every step of the way.   As a Nurse I can say, they did absolutely everything possible to makes my dreams a reality but also adhere to all of the safety guidelines, state mandates,  cleanliness procedures and truly had our best interests in mind along with the safety and well being of their own staff, family and outside vendors involved in our day.   The lodge has 3 cabins filled with comfortable furniture and a sense of home with all of the last frontier accents and touches.  The stress of the day was melted away after hrs of enjoying the properties lawns  for dancing,  heart felt moments with loved ones, a cozy camp fire and even a soak in the hot tub or relaxing in the sauna.  Katy and Brian were unbelievably resourceful and truly accomodating.  I was so very pleased with all of their perferred vendors, ultimately our food flowers and any needed rental equipment came from their lists.  Even our weekend at the lodge, wedding aside, was filled with fun activities, great hikes, delicious food and breathtaking views of cooperlanding and its surrounding beauty- all at the recommendation of our hosts.  I will be returning ! And I do whole heartedly recommend this venue for any event you may be having here in Alaska, it will be made magic at Alaska Heavenly Lodge!  

Excellent place to have a wedding in the mountains of Alaska!

We fell in love with Alaska quickly and after having our wedding at Alaska Heavenly Lodge last week, we have also fallen in love with Cooper Landing. Katy and Brian are absolutely AMAZING and helped plan our destination wedding without us ever stepping foot on the property. The property itself is absolutely stunning and our wedding day was truly magical! Highly recommend- we will definitely be coming back!
