Albatross Ridge, from the first moment that I was blessed enough to visit it as a potential wedding venue, has been one of my favorite places on the planet. Hands down. I knew that... it would be our wedding venue from the moment we began our slow drive up the mountain. It was special. It was exclusive. I felt tucked away and hidden but then when you reached the vineyard at the top of the hill you could see everything. Everything! Beautiful rolling hills and other vineyards below, the Pacific, Santa Lucia Mountain Range... everything. It is such a beautiful place. The staff is fantastic. The wine is delicious. The air is crisp, clean, quiet and peaceful. We could not have chosen a more beautiful location for our wedding. We couldn't have imagined to find a more perfect and naturally beautiful space and are so eternally grateful that we did. I hope that Albatross remains as a venue that doesn't just crank out weddings every week because that is part of the beauty. As beautiful as it is, it somehow feels untouched. Undiscovered. And that's why, I'd marry my husband here every year if I could. This place is special.
