The magic starts above the clouds at the spectacular ceremony site, 1300 feet above sea level. The sprawling hills of Carmel Valley are an idyllic setting for exchanging vows and celebrating your love story. Guests can then make their way to the reception area enveloped in the 25-acre vineyard. It features a 4,000-square-foot patio, a bocce ball court, an outdoor bar and lounge area, fire pits, and three VIP single-stall restrooms. As the sun sets, guests can dance the night away under the stars or cozy up beside the firepits with blankets and marshmallows. Albatross Ridge Estate is an all-in-one venue that can host not only weddings but also rehearsal dinners and engagement parties. They also have three tasting rooms in the local area for couples to rent out the space for smaller gatherings.
Albatross Ridge has a wedding planner to help bring couples' dream wedding day visions to life. They take care of the setup and cleanup of the event so the newlyweds can truly enjoy every special moment. it would be our wedding venue from the moment we began our slow drive up the mountain. It was special. It was exclusive. I felt tucked away and hidden but then when you reached the vineyard at the top of the hill you could see everything. Everything! Beautiful rolling hills and other vineyards below, the Pacific, Santa Lucia Mountain Range... everything. It is such a beautiful place. The staff is fantastic. The wine is delicious. The air is crisp, clean, quiet and peaceful. We could not have chosen a more beautiful location for our wedding. We couldn't have imagined to find a more perfect and naturally beautiful space and are so eternally grateful that we did. I hope that Albatross remains as a venue that doesn't just crank out weddings every week because that is part of the beauty. As beautiful as it is, it somehow feels untouched. Undiscovered. And that's why, I'd marry my husband here every year if I could. This place is special.
