Aldridge Gardens

This is literally the perfect place for an outdoor wedding. We got married at the pond with the fountain behind it, but there are several other locations for your preference including a woods setting, two different arbors, a house, and a pavilion. We worked more with Amanda who was very responsive and always answered our questions in a timely manner. They were also very flexible with our wedding coordinator to get everything set up. I loved this venue!

We loved the venue! It's gorgeous, and they let you customize your wedding (i.e., pick own vendors, so you can spend more on what you care about and less on what you don't). It's really a great venue. Only note of caution: if you are planning on having a bigger wedding (more than ~150-160), you may want to consider a different venue. There's not a lot of covered space, and you'll worry about the weather. If you're having that size wedding or smaller, though, I cannot recommend Aldridge Gardens more.

We really loved having our reception at Aldridge Gardens. It was the perfect venue for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and who wants to make a venue unique to them. We felt so supported by Amanda, even as we planned our wedding from afar. Our friends still talk about how memorable the reception was, dancing the night away under the literal stars! We loved it.

Amanda at Aldridge Gardens is so helpful and great to work with! Also the facilities at Aldridge are AMAZING. We are so glad we chose this venue for our special day!

Aldridge Gardens was everything my husband and I were looking for. The grounds are so beautiful, they barely even need decor, but take well to any style or theme you could imagine. The event coordinator I worked with, Amanda Baker, was excellent. We had our ceremony and reception here and Amanda worked with our vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. Our wedding was made perfect by the romantic atmosphere of Aldridge Gardens. Highly recommend.

The pavilion was the perfect location for our outdoor reception. It is a blank slate that you are able to transform to meet your needs...the staff was wonderful and accommodating day of, I would plan another event there without hesitation!

My husband and I seriously could not recommend Aldridge Gardens enough. The gardens are incredibly beautiful and there are multiple places to get married in the Gardens, all equally wonderful, which made the photo opportunities endless. Also, the pavilion, were we had our reception, was absolutely gorgeous in the evening. However, as beautiful as Aldridge is, we could not imagine our big day or anything coming together without Amanda Baker. We hired Amanda as our wedding coordinator after a recommendation from our photographer Jennifer Woodbery, and I can honestly say Amanda went above and beyond in making sure that we stayed in budget as well as making our dream wedding come true. She's also wonderfully kind, personable, and an incredible person and managed to keep me calm and collected during the entire planning process which is a feat in itself. We could not imagine our perfect day without Amanda or Aldridge and we would recommend them to anyone.

My home church is right next door to Adridge so when we started planning we decided to look into Aldridge. I can truly say that I never regretted that decision!! Amanda Baker is the main person I was in contact with. I cannot say enough amazing things about her. I was traveling all over the US while planning and she made sure to quickly respond to my emails and phone calls, helped my mom and I plan tables and setup, and was exceptionally helpful picking out vendors with us! I would happily suggest to anyone and everyone in Birmingham to use Aldridge. It's a beautiful spot and they will get you whatever you need. It rained on our wedding day, so they made sure everyone could get to the venue without getting drenched!

Aldridge Gardens is absolutely beautiful and set the scene for our dream wedding. We traveled from Louisiana to be married at the gardens due to it's beauty. From the moment we met Amanda we felt like we had chosen the right location and company to work with. Amanda Baker bent over backwards to help us with ceremony/reception location details and wedding day issues. Amanda will walk you through the process and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Although we were planning a wedding several states away from home we never were concerned. The staff at Aldridge Gardens put us at ease. I would highly recommend Aldridge Gardens to any couple in search of a beautiful location to have their ceremony and reception take place.

Amanda was amazing! Everyone is really sweet there. I had a great experience working with Amanda. The venue does a walk-through appointment with all the vendors about 60 days out. The walk-through appointment is a great way to insure that all the vendors are on the same page. We also came up with a lot of good decor ideas and contingencies plans with that meeting. Everything went really well on the day of event (even with a little rain). Aldridge Gardens is beautiful!! Your pictures will turn out great! The venue rates are reasonable. Also, there is plenty of parking. It is a great place to walk around (so picturesque). All of our guests had such a great time and raved how beautiful Aldridge Gardens was. If you want to have a garden-themed wedding, I would highly recommend Aldridge Gardens!

We held our Rehearsal Dinner at Aldridge Gardens in the Musuem overlooking the lake. The venue could not have been more perfect. We had around 60 guests that all complimented the venue and the beauty of the Gardens. It could not have been a more perfect night for us!

Amanda was amazing and so helpful and accommodating with everything. The venue is beautiful and I loved being able to have my ceremony and reception at the same location for my guests. Excellent options for photography, rentals available from the site, and fantastic value for the $$$. This was the perfect spot to celebrate the beginning of our life together!

The location was great for easy access to hotels and amenities surrounding for guests and for prep on the big day! Our wedding was in June and rained all day but turned out fabulous that afternoon. The Gardens were a little tough to work with for the rehearsal because our layout was slightly different than what typically takes place for the ceremony, but the day of went off without a glitch and chairs were set up as agreed upon and provided plenty of privacy for our guests and for us.

We really picked a winner with Aldridge Gardens!The staff made everything so easy, and it was a really affordable option for our outdoor wedding. We decorated and everything turned out exactly as I had hoped. What a wonderful choice for a sunset ceremony and evening reception. We couldn't have asked for anything more!!

We got married by the Lake and had the reception in the Pavillion. The staff were very helpful and easy to work with and everything went very well. Loved this site.

I was married here on May 5, 2012 and it was gorgeous! We were married in the Arbor and had our reception in the Pavilion and everything was perfect; I can't recommend this place enough! Mrs. Pat was wonderful to work with as well!

This probably would have been our venue if we didn't decide to do a beach wedding! We loved the scenery and the outdoor reception area! We did not like the space for the outdoor catered to work with and the indoor dining option appeared small!!

This was a great outdoor venue. Pat ( one of the coordinators) was always very helpful and responded very quickly to my e-mails and calls. 6 weeks before the wedding, a tornado destroyed both mine and my fiancee's vehicles and our apartment. Pat was so helpful in leading us through last minute details and went the extra mile to help me find a last minute vehicle and hotel room for our wedding night for free!! Unfortunately, it did rain on our wedding day, so we didn't get our outdoor ceremony. However, the coordinators at Aldridge helped to get everything and everyone together quickly and quietly. I am 100% satisfied with this venue!!

The gardens are beautiful. The people tend to tell you something different each time you talk to them. Just make sure you get important things in writing and secure your dates with the deposit- don't take their word on it.
