At Alegria by Design we are passionate about events. We are a Santa Barbara based event production company, servicing clients from Monterey to Los Angeles counties. Since 2001 we have been producing extraordinary events, specializing in full-service weddings and the production of high-end corporate, social and non-profit events. Santa Barbara offers a wealth of event resources from our breathtaking locations and avant-garde event professionals to our bounty of locally grown produce and cut flowers. It’s no wonder that Santa Barbara has become one of the premier destination locations for weddings and special events in the country. From planning corporate parties at beautiful local hotels, to an elegant wine country wedding we embrace Santa Barbara’s uniqueness…a fresh, playful, and sometimes irreverent attitude towards the norm. We like to have fun here in Santa Barbara which is what we hope translates through our work…after all, life is a celebration!

She planned our timeline, walked the event space, and coordinated set up and timeline with all our vendors. He is very well known in Santa Barbara and it was always reassuring to hear that he was great to work with! His recommendations and sage advice kept us in line and on target with what we wanted. We were very particular about A LOT of aspects of the wedding and he really was amazing at negotiating and compromising with our goals in mind. I felt so comfortable that everything would happen the way that it should because you were involved. I was a very calm bride because (1) I was excited to be marrying my darling husband and (2) you were running the show! The detail of the flowers (fiddleheads) to the design of our tables and the very "social" atmosphere you created with the lights and seating were truly artistic - you are a design artist for any event! As Mark stated in his wedding speach, let's do it again in 20 years (maybe sooner)...same people, same place, same Armando!
