Everyone was really nice. Yunieska was my salesperson, she was helpful and patient with me, I was glad to say YES to the dress. The only bad thing they charge $400.00 for alterations so I will take my dress somewhere else for the alterations.
Such a fun dress shopping experience! The saleswoman was so patient and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. She made it really fun for my mom and my friends, too. The dresses there are gorgeous. They worked with me on my tight 6-month timeline and did excellent alterations. I highly recommend making an appointment for this place on your dress shopping day!
Everybody in the salon was so nice, friendly and patient. They helped us with everything from accessories to alterations. They have the best selection of dresses and really listened when we explained what we wanted.
The owners and the staff at Alegia's Brides were so helpful. My mom, my sister, and I went to so many shops and we were about to give up, but they found the perfect dress! They helped fit it to me perfectly, even adding extra boning to give me added support.
The staff at Alegria Brides is amazing, They are super friendly & always helpful. They made my dress fit me perfectly.
Perfect one stop place for dress and alterations
Came here for my second store of trying on dresses and after showing my sales associate one or two pictures, she put me in a dress that ended up being the one! Well below my budget too! We tried in 5-6 more but I kept going back to the first one. The sales associate was so friendly, fast and efficient and didn’t make me feel pressured at all. I was an out of town bride and everything with my dress was perfect thanks to the communication and professionalism for Alegrias.
Loved!!!
I live about 4 hours away from Miami and I'm getting married at the Hotel Colonnade next month, I went to all the shops on Miracle mile and none of them were as helpful, courteous and professional as they were. I really wanted a Demetrious gown I had seen and they happened to have it. The staff were beyond helpful and truly made me feel like a princess, they alerted my dress perfectly and I can't wait for my big day. Thank you so much for your help <3
xoxo, Meilin B
I made an appointment at Algeria’s bridal as my first stop to my dream dress. Kelly helped me with a line up of beautiful dresses. One of the last dresses I tried on was breath taking. As I stepped up, Kelly dimmed the lights and everyone sighed! The dress sparkled and shined and I felt THAT feeling. Since this was the first bridal boutique I went to, I decided to continue shopping. After the sixth stop, no dress compared so I made a second appointment at Allegria and the rest is history!
I’m from Trinidad and Tobago and visited Alegrias Bridals in Miami just to get my dream dress. After liaising with Kelly Rivers who was so friendly and helpful, I got straight off the plane and into the boutique where after 12 different dresses, I found the one. It turned out to be the very first gown I tried! I would definitely recommend them!
I have never felt so unwelcomed in my life. As a bride searching for her perfect dress down the mile, I popped into Alegria's out of curiosity on a Tuesday afternoon with my mother. Within minutes we both felt unwelcomed by the man behind the counter. I simply wanted to browse and when I told him the two styles I liked, he scoffed at me. Mind you, this was day three of searching and my fourth bridal shop of the day. Not once throughout the day had a sales associate been rude to my mother and me.
Communication is clearly a lost cause here. The young lady that attempted to assist me didn't understand the look and feel of the dress I wanted. I asked her to make sure the dress was 1) Not strapless 2) Not white. Long story short, I wasn't allowed to browse the store and choose what I wanted to try on. I was given 3-4 dresses and each worse than the next. An art deco dress for a mountaintop wedding, really? When I said it was a nice dress for a cocktail party the young lady's face fell flat. Later when asked why I didn't like any of them my answer was simple, everything was very, very white and each style pulled was against everything I described I wanted.
Little did they know I was making a decision THAT day. After my poor experience here, I was 100x more sure that the dress I tried on at the first store of the day was the one.
Would I recommend Alegria's to a friend? No. There are plenty of other shops on Miracle Mile that will make your bridal experience a pleasant one.
They were so helpful with finding my dress! My consultant listened to exactly what I wanted and the other consultants also helped by bringing dresses for me to try as well. I walked in on a whim while waiting for another bridal salon appointment and ended up finding the one (with some additions that they helped me design) as well as a veil to match! They truly made me feel like I was the focus of their attention and I highly recommend Alegria’s to everyone!!!
My dress was Beautiful and Elegant! I said “Yes” to the dress when all we were doing was browsing. They are wonderful!
The girls that work here are THE BEST. They made my mom and I feel special and comfortable during every visit (including 3 alterations visits). Very kind ladies and a pleasure to work with.
After going to many bridal shops and getting disappointed because I could not find the right dress for me I found this hidden gem in Miami and was so happy with the selections and staff they really work hard to help you find the perfect dress and the owner is very helpful as well.
I found my dream dress just passing by, the girls that help you in the store are amazing and everyone there is just incredibly amazing and willing to help with a smile on their faces
I purchased an Allure bridal gown from this salon, and the service was excellent. They treated my Mom and I with the utmost respect from the moment we arrived, and continued with excellent service straight through all the alterations (including making on the spot alterations) until the day I took my gown home! They also have a large selection of accessories to complete your perfect day outfit! I would highly recommend making them your go to salon.
After going to about 7 stores on miracle mile I found Alegria, and the dresses are fabulous. The lace was of very good quality. The girls at the store were very helpful and provided great advice.
BEWARE! I got married 49 days ago. I found a beautiful dress here that I loved and was within my budget. I bought my dress 6 months before the wedding (October 2014). The girl that helped me was Naida. She was great. Now here comes the nightmare. At the first fitting the dress was loose around the bust, a bit tight at the waist, and loose around the hips. The seamstress came in, pinned fabric, and I went home. At the second fitting, the dress would not close! It was small by 2 inches! i clearly had not gained any weight. My mom has sewn for a living in the past and she could tell that she had taken in the dress at the wrong place. The bust was still loose. we were in shock and asked what had happened. we got no answers other than don't worry it will be fine. At the third fitting, nothing had been done, and the dress still did not fit well. I called the owner, Abraham, and told him everything that had happened, and that i was very stressed and that nothing had been resolved. All he said was don't worry you are in good hands. At the fourth fitting, nothing had been done, The seamstress came in pinned fabric and i had to point out where the fabric was bunching up and not laying flat as it should. They took the dress in the back, and brought it back a while later and all the lace was chopped up! they had let out all the sides. They sent me home, and I came back two days before my wedding. The dress did finally close, but she cut off the straps of the internal corset. The bust was still loose, but at this point we were scared of telling her it was still not good since it was two days before my wedding, and the lace had been chopped up so much that you could see where there were pieces of appliqués that were frayed. The only thing we did ask was for the corset elastic strap to be sewn back together. And it was a good thing that we did. I took my dress home. The dress never really fit well. It had no support at the bust. Fabric was bunching up in areas, the waist was loose, and the beading on man y appliqués was also lose. I was never offered a refund. I did not ask because I am not one to haggle. This was the most stressful experience ever. Things always go wrong at weddings, but to have your dress destroyed is heart breaking.
The WORSE bridal experience ever!
I'm going to start with the worse first, the women are extremely rude and pushy. When I tried on the first dress, my sister was about to took of photo and the sales associate so very rudely snapped at her not to take any photos. She and another associate stood by, in the opening to the room to monitor my family and I offering no privacy. When I finally asked for a moment alone with my mom to privately discuss the current dress she reluctantly stepped out, however before leaving she poked her head back in to remind us NO PHOTOS. She continued to stand directly in front of my curtain to keep an open ear. I'm not sure if they realize that aside from the fact that there is nothing one-of-a-kind there, I could easily find these dresses online !
One of the sales associates was overhead saying to "keep an eye on use because we could be taking pictures."
There was no privacy, no opportunity to discuss with my family. The associates were too busy standing guard for what? I'm still not sure.
By far the worse shopping experience I could have ever imagined.
I bought my wedding dress at Alegria's a few months before my wedding. They have a beautiful and large variety for all types of women. I must have tried dozens before I chose the one.
The women there are extremely helpful. Maria, was the one that always attended me when I went. She is an extremely sweet, honest, professional person. She knows her brides, their taste, what dresses fit your body best. She is the best!
I had an amazing experience!
I spent several days and many more hours going up and down the bridal street of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables trying on dress after dress to finally find the one that was made for me at Alegria's Brides. Miracle Mile has an enormous selection of Bridal shops to choice from and its the perfect place to find out exactly what you are looking for and how other shops compare in both quality and cost. Alegria's was the one meant for me on my very special day.
If you are looking for a lace wedding dress, Alegria's is the place to go. They had such a ginormous selection of beautiful dresses that only my budget helped me pick the perfect dress. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially GiGi. She made the entire process so much fun that by the end she felt like a lifelong friend.
The alteration fee includes as many alterations as needed/wanted and it was always easy to make an appointment. I never had to wait, I was always kept up-to-date, and I was always welcomed by a smiling and sincere staff. Thank you Alegria's for making me such a happy and beautiful bride! You live up to your name :)
Coincidentally enough, I walked into Alegria's without an appointment on a day full of other wedding dress store appointments. Kelly helped me and her friendly personality helped me to finally decide on the perfect dress!! She kept all of my ideas and vision in mind to bring me various dresses until we found the perfect one. Alegria's prices are affordable and I loved that alterations were included in the price. I highly recommend Alegria's to all South Florida brides!
I will not lie, I was not one of those brides who was excited to dress shop. I can be picky and very indecisive. When you're in the middle of white/ivory every where, things can get hazy. I pretty much kept my shopping on Miracle Mile as it is flooded with dress shops. I went to Alegria once and found two dresses that I felt were strong contenders but I wasn't ready to bite the bullet. After about two - three weeks, I went back to try the dresses again and finally make that decision. When I arrived, my salesperson informed me that one of the dresses had already been sold. I thought to myself, well that must be a sign that the dress leftover is the one. After putting it on and being clamped up, I just knew: this was the one.
Alegria's was the second bridal shop I visited to find my wedding gown. I had a certain vision I was chasing and after trying on (and not liking) several dresses (10 dresses to be exact, which if you've tried on bridal gowns, you know that's quite a feat) GiGi, the assistant helping me brought in a dress. She had heard me several times before say I didn't like this dress because of this feature, or I didn't like that dress because of that cut. So, she had an idea and went with it, and I'll be forever grateful. She brought in a beautiful, just came in, Hjelm gown and made me close my eyes till I was strapped into the dress. When I opened my eyes, I started crying because GiGi had found my wedding dress! It was absolutely perfect and fit my body like it was made for me and only me. The thing is, it is a dress I would have NEVER picked out myself and yet she just knew. This shop also has a kick-ass seamstress and every assistant there is awesome. I can't remember the lady that helped me with my last fitting, but she showed me (and my mom!) how to properly lift the breasts to get perfect cleavage! Oh, and the value; since my mother paid cash for the dress and veil the owner hooked her up with a small discount which brought the total (including a cathedral length veil) to under $3,000, which was our budget. I would highly recommend Alegria's Brides on Miracle Mile for any bride, especially one who is unsure what their body type would look good in!
My experience at Alegria's was incredible. They are so hospitable and comforting. They also know their dresses very well! They basically picked mine for me. I've had two of my friends also purchase their dresses here! Highly recommended!
I loved my bridal gown from Alegria's Brides and it was a fantastic experience working with them. They went above and beyond to make me feel satisfied and beautiful in my dress. They even helped re-alter my mom's dress that was almost ruined by the tailor who originally worked on her dress. They are a class act and I highly recommend them.
This place has beautiful dresses and employes are really willing to help in then process. Every guest in my party told me how beatiful my dress is.
I love my dress and the price was so affordable. I had the alterations done there but my dress on wedding day didn't fit the way it should have because a clip that they had done a week before fell off!!! Apparently it was sewn poorly. It's a shame but the dresses are affordable there and lovely.
only issue is they were not open on saturdays
I had they most magical and amazing experience from the moment i walked in and tried on "the Dress" to the final alterations. They made me feel welcomed and beautiful. Cant ask for more
Alegria's Bridal was the only bridal store that had great customer service. Very helpful when choosing a dress.
My dress was extremely beautiful and classic A line style. Their service was very good, very pleasant and helpful.
I've got so so many compliments regarding my dress.
The dress was a bit long and it was difficult for me to walk in it, but I think it was my personal mistake of no realizing before than the actual wedding day. They don't have enough room at the store to actually walk around enough to realize minor details such as if the dress is too long like in my case. I only tried it on in the fitting room and walked to the mirror. that was not enough walking distance for me to notice that it was too long. On the wedding date I kept stepping on it constantly so that became a frustration. I couldn't walk wtout having to lift the skirt from the side. It was hard to dance with it as well cause I kept stepping on it, but it looks beautiful on the pictures and it was my mistake not to realize that it was too long, but I wish they had more room for one to walk around wt the dress at the actual store.
I had gone to the cheaper and large chain stores and it was a nightmare but coming into Alegria's Brides was a breath of fresh air. Classy yet easy going environment unlike what I had experienced at the beginning of my dress search. They had an wonderful selection of dresses. The second dress I tried on at the store was "the one." It was an absolute dream! For a nice and intimate boutique, the prices were amazingly reasonable. I bought a whole lace gown with embellishments throughout the dress for only $1100. I would have never imagined that I would have been able to get such a beautiful dress for such a good price. The dress looked more expensive. The quality of the fabrics were very high quality. All in all, a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
Alegria's is the BEST BEST BEST!!! They have a beautiful selection of gowns, and are patient and helpful when you pick yours out. They also have a great eye and help find the perfect dress for you. They are very reasonably priced and give such personal service. I love them there. My dress was gorgeous and fit like a glove by the time they were done with me and I got tons of compliments!!
Jaqueline was the only reason I am happy with this store. She helped me find my dress and helped me try to fix it the way I wanted it.
I kept telling them when I fitted my dress that it does not fit well and I needed some adjustments. They kept reassuring me it would be perfect on the day of. For the last fitting, I was still unhappy but the lady who helped me was just in a hurry to get rid of me and completely ignored my concerns. I had so much to stress about and the last thing I needed was another stress. Wedding day came and my dress did not fit well nor did I feel good. I had to use a safety pin to fix it. My experience with this store was terrible so I definitely do not recommend.
I knew which dress I wanted and Alegria's was the only store in Miami that had it. They didn't have the actual dress I wanted, but were able to order it. They gave me a good deal on the price (and included all alterations and pressing). It was pretty easy to schedule appointments, but they are closed on Saturdays, which made it somewhat difficult to find the time. My dress did fit perfectly by the time we picked it up. However, the bustle didn't feel very sturdy and, sure enough, one of the threads ripped within the first 30 minutes of my reception so I walked around half-bustled all night. Other than that, no major complaints.
So I had a personal issue that caused me to have to change the style and type of dress for my wedding after I had already chosen one. Abraham, the owner of Alegria's Brides, was very understanding and allowed me to make the change without any financial repercussion. The selection of dresses is expansive. The staff are very friendly and listen to what it is you want and work with you to find the right dress.
I purchased a DaVinci gown at Alegrias. We were impressed with Alegria's shop compared to the other shops on miracle mile. The dresses were in decent condition (not torn, or discolored), in plastic zipped bags (unlike other shops), and try-on's available in varying sizes. The dressing rooms were large with entirely mirrored rooms, including dimmed lighting if wanted for effect. When you purchase the gown you are required to pre-pay $300 for alterations that is not refundable if you don't use all that. I was fitted for my gown and we purchased it with the alteration fee. It came in about 1 month earlier than expected. On its arrival and my fitting the dress was too small. It had to be let out in both the hips (2 inches) and chest (4 inches) despite my loss of approximately 10 pounds since the original fitting. The alterations (comepleted in the same day) were less than ideal. The bustle button was a different shade of ivory than the dress, even with the train bustled the dress was too long in the back and dragged the ground. What I disliked the most, is once the alterations were complete and we came back to try it on again, the employees and alterations people were rushing us, as we appeared not completely happy with the alterations. She rushed us out of there before we could really pick out the changes that needed to be made. It wasn't until I got home with the gown that I realized it WAS NOT perfect. We ended up removing the bustle button they had applied and used the buttons that already existed on the back of the gown. Those buttons we had to re-inforce ourselves. In the end, with our own alteration, my dress was absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly.
i loved my wedding dress and loved this shop. Eevryone was so helpful and the seamstress was great at her job my dress fit perfectly. You only have to pay a fixed small price and they will alter your dress as many times as u need.
I wanted wedding style tennis shoes and this store was the only place I saw a pair. They were comfortable the whole night and definitely worth the money!
the people were amazing and great
Staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a big variety of wedding dress styles and the price range varies as well.
Amazing prices, gowns, quality and people! I think its amazing, would definitely recommend to everyone!
i bought not one, but 2 dresses at alegrias! watching say yes to the dress after my first purchase was a mistake, but they were really wonderful. they have a great selection of reasonably priced gowns.
I loved my wedding dress and all of the service I got at Alegria's. They weren't pushy, they listened to me and they got everything right. It was probably the only part of my wedding that actually went well. The only bad thing I can say is that I asked for some beading to be taken off my veil and they didn't do it, but if I had pushed it harder they would have taken it off. I was just so exhausted I didn't feel like arguing with another vendor.
They worked with me on the cost of the dress. They worked with me on the cost of adding cap sleeves to the dress & alterations. They made me feel comfortable, beautiful and happy. What else could a bride to be ask for?
So happy with this place. My bridal dress was amazing! they did an amazing job with the alterations and they treated me like a beautiful bride the entire time. The service is awesome! Rachel and Abraham are wonderful!
The dress prices here are unbeatable!!! You can find amazing dresses for great prices! The people that work in this store are also very nice!
The downfall I had was that I had to have 5 fittings because each time I had something 'fixed' it was somehow worse the next time I came in, and then they would have to redo it. Additionally, in the end, they actually ended up somehow cutting out 2 of my pickups in the front of the dress making the dress wayyy too long and of course changing the look (the dress length was never asked to be changed!! It was perfect how it came!!) So every fitting the dress length was perfect, but I didn't try the dress on when I picked it up, and on the wedding day I had a panic attack and we had to pin my dress in a bunch of places so that I could walk.. even then it was a disaster and i kept tripping on it while walking down the aisle, and i tripped on it horribly in our choreographed first dance..
My Suggestion: Buy your dress here, but take it somewhere else to be altered (especially if you don't speak spanish.. I do, but they still messed up.. the seamstresses only speak spanish)!!!! and make sure that your pickups are doubly sewn so that if one string rips there is another holding!
