Aleksey and Leah were fantastic to work with. They made the day flow naturally, helped us plan, stick to our timeline and even helped us through unexpected hurdles that were out of their control. They made sure that we were both engaged and enjoying our day to the fullest.
When the brides bustle broke, Leah was able to fix it with her sewing kit, and she did the same for the guys jackets when buttons were falling off or something needed to be restitched.
The pictures turned out spectacular and we are so grateful for both Aleksey and Leah for helping make sure that our wedding day went on as smoothly as possible so we could just relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones. We highly recommend anyone to choose Aleksey for their special day!

WOW... Our wedding was on June 4th 2026 and hands down Aleksey and Leah were the greatest people I have ever worked with. Their work is phenomenal. We went for the 2 photographer option for the longest time possible and I am so glad we did. We now have so many amazing, beautiful photos of our special day.
To begin, Aleksey is a very organized and knowledgable photographer. He set up multiple meetings to discuss plans and timelines before the wedding. He developed basically my entire wedding timeline (which was SO helpful). Many (if not all) of my other vendors are ones he has worked with before so he was very accustomed to how they worked. He also gave me the suggestion of where to do my first look spot which we ended up using and loving. He was very punctual and very easy to work with. Truly he made my life so easy.
Not only are his organization skills exceptional but he certainly has an eye for photography. His work is art. He knew exactly where/how to position me and my bridal party, and which locations would make the best backgrounds. Throughout the picture-taking he made fun jokes that had everyone laughing, providing genuine smiles in the photos.
Additionally Aleksey's wife Leah is equally as amazing. Her photography skills are exceptional, and she was such a support to me throughout the day. She even helped me bustle my dress and bobby pin my veil in. My favorite part about her is she was not afraid to be the bad guy; she pulled me aside and told me if I was done taking pictures to let her know and she would tell everyone that we were done.
To wrap things up this duo is amazing. my heart is so full knowing they captured my day perfectly. My jaw was on the floor when I received my photos (which was insanely fast!! 2 weeks and we were sent all of our edited photos). I could go on but I think theres a word limit. I hope this review helps!

ul, artistic, professional photos we could ever hope for! We knew they would be amazing from seeing all of the work they have done with other couples, but to see your own photos look as beautiful has such an impact. The day was so special and so emotional, and they captured the lovely essence of our celebration just perfectly.
Before we even got to the big day, we had several virtual meetings with Aleksey to go over all of the details of what the day would look like and what we wanted from our photographers. We let Aleksey take us by the hand and listened to his recommendations for how things would flow best. It was so helpful to have an experienced touch with this behind-the-scenes planning because we had none of our own. He was kind, professional, and funny, and immediately we were looking forward to working with himself and Leah.
On the big day, Aleksey was cracking his hilarious dad jokes from the beginning, keeping the energy light and easing some of the natural anxiety and tension we were feeling before the ceremony went underway. Leah was so calm, collected, and warmly straightforward with her instructions which was immensely helpful. Our portraits, formals, and candids all came out great.
We did a first look before the ceremony so that we could exchange our personal vows privately. Aleksey and Leah were able to capture the tenderness and softness of that moment without even being noticed. Wedding party photos came next and had us laughing and being silly together which we are so thrilled to have on record. Everyone looked great. Our ceremony then took place on a tiny fairy-tale inspired island, surrounded by a Koi pond in the Japanese Garden at Avanti Mansion. This setting was one of the big reasons why we chose this venue to get married in and I am thrilled we had fair weather. Aleksey and Leah masterfully captured the beauty of the location. Multiple friends and family commented on how thorough they were, and how kind and charming their presence was.
We couldn't have asked for a better team to handle this very important element of our big day and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the best wedding photographers in the Buffalo area! Thank you Aleksey and Leah!

the Sterling and was 8 days after the fire. He knew the venue well and was able to adjust our timeline and the getting ready and bridal party photos to accommodate to the change in location to the Timberlodge very quickly. He was fun and funny and everyone loved him. I do not like getting pictures taken but he made everything go very smoothly. In less than 48 hrs we had a sneak peak. It's only been 10 days since the wedding so we don't have photos back yet but the sneak peak is amazing. We highly recommend him to anyone.

On the wedding day Aleksey and Leah were with us the whole day from getting ready to jamming out on the dance floor. Their professionalism and attention to detail are truly outstanding! It is very clear that they not only have vast experience in photography but also have set a high bar for themselves regarding the quality of the photos they take.
After our engagement session and discussions with Aleksey, we knew he and Leah would deliver exceptional service, and the photography was the one aspect of the wedding that we knew we could count on and not stress about. We knew that, whatever happened, our photos would be beautiful.
It was truly a pleasure working with Aleksey and Leah. We now have photos and a video that we can look at for years to come to relive our special day. I will never forget the first time I found AlekseyK Photography’s website — I was instantly captivated by Aleksey’s ability to capture the true emotion and beauty of a wedding....
His photos brought me to tears, and I didn’t even know the people in them.
From our very first conversation, we were so impressed by Aleksey’s professionalism, experience, and incredible attention to detail in preparing our wedding day timeline. My husband and I were living out of state, and Aleksey made it so easy to meet virtually and stay connected. Even though he had never photographed at our venue before, he went above and beyond researching the location and lighting to ensure everything was perfectly timed. He truly spent the most time planning with us, and we appreciated his expertise.
We ended up changing our photo locations three times (including one major change a week before the wedding!), and Aleksey was so flexible and accommodating. We’re also so grateful we upgraded our package to include his wife, Leah, and videography. Aleksey and Leah are an incredible team — organized, professional, and SO kind.
We chose to do our first look, creative photos, and family formals before the ceremony which worked out perfectly. We were able to fully enjoy our cocktail hour while Aleksey and Leah captured amazing candid moments of our guests. We had many young children and babies at our wedding, and Aleksey’s patience and ability to get them to smile and laugh was so impressive — everyone in our families commented on how wonderful he and Leah were to work with!
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how seamlessly Aleksey and Leah worked throughout the day — capturing stunning, emotional candid moments while somehow being completely unobtrusive. They kept us relaxed, laughing, and truly enjoying every photo.
When we received our gallery, we laughed and cried all over again. The way Aleksey and Leah captured the emotions of the day is beyond words. These photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives.
I truly believe that your photographer is one of the most important investments you can make for your wedding, because the photos and video are what last forever. With Aleksey’s incredible talent, you will feel the emotions of your day every time you look through your photos.

was extremely detail oriented - even giving my wife tips for picking her dress - and easy to get along with. You will spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day so feeling comfortable with them and their direction is so important.
Leading up to our wedding, Aleksey was available for multiple calls, shared photo ideas, and helped us create the right timeline.
On the day of, he was prompt, sticking to the timeline and even sometimes working ahead of schedule (which we love!) and gave clear guidance to us and all of our family and friends - he even learned every parent and wedding party person’s name so he could direct us personally.
My wife and I were able to get every photo and more that was listed on our planning sheet. We received our preview photos within days of the wedding and were blown away. He captured the love, joy, happy tears, and every other emotion from the day perfectly. Our family and friends can’t stop complementing his professionalism and skill from the wedding day. We are so happy with the photos we’ve received and can’t wait to see the rest.

mes through in their work, we were amazed by the photos. We received our sneak preview two days after our wedding - truly unheard of and sooo fun to share with friends right after. Then shortly after (2.5 weeks post wedding) we received the full album and were blownnnn away. elped us plan some off-site photos, gave us plenty of wedding logistics advice, and made sure to follow-up with us when we were too busy ourselves!
They were also both very flexible in the process. Throughout our planning we decided to add different services (such as a Henna night shoot), additional videos for ceremony and toasts, and even changed the day of our Henna night after we set it. Aleksey was able to accommodate all those requests and make sure we could add whatever services we needed.
On the day of they were both very professional, timely, and took brilliant photos. They helped keep us on time and were able to adjust accordingly when we were behind about an hour in getting the wedding party ready. We still got all of our shoots and more.
The best part was I had asked them for specific shoots with different friend groups (hockey team, fraternity, etc.) and throughout the night they were hunting me and the crew down to make sure we got the pictures before people left.
Can't recommend them enough.

mals, or just some really nice posed shots that somehow managed to fit in in between all that, they all look amazing. We had an outdoor wedding, and Aleksey took some phenomenal photos with the lighting.
Aleksey also did a lot to get us in the right state of mind to take some really great photos. He's really funny and a genuinely nice guy, and that really helped us to relax, smile and laugh for more natural looking photos. Not to mention all of my friends and family that talked to us about him after (which was more than a few!) said they loved him.
He was super communicative throughout the whole thing too. We met with him on a video call at least 3 times before the actual day, and we'd been emailing back and forth as well.
And I have to say this again, the pictures were amazing.

knew we had to reach out. It turned out to be the best decision we made.
From the moment we booked them, they went above and beyond. Not only did we have them with us for a full 12 hours, but they also showed up with the kind of care, thoughtfulness, and preparedness you can only dream of on your wedding day. When I chose a wrist bracelet instead of a bustle (pro tip: don’t do that), Leah literally sewed a bustle onto my dress on the spot. They brought extra tissues, toothpicks, and even spare batteries for our Polaroid camera. Things we forgot, but they didn’t. Every detail was thought of.
But it wasn’t just about the details, it was their presence. Calm, warm, and incredibly generous with their time and energy. Everyone - and I mean everyone - commented on how amazing they were all weekend long. We had a few unexpected hiccups on the day that no one could’ve predicted, and Aleksey and Leah helped keep us grounded, focused, and smiling through it all.
Aleksey met with us several times throughout the planning process, and even took additional meetings to help me coordinate a surprise for my fiancé. They made everyone, even those who usually dread photos feel relaxed, confident, and even excited. Aleksey was amazing with the kids and the adults alike, and created a detailed timeline that I honestly could not have survived without.
Even though I’ve written many words here, it still doesn’t feel like enough to express just how thankful we are. There are simply no words that can fully capture what Aleksey and Leah meant to us - or how highly we recommend them.
If you're wondering whether to book them, stop wondering. Just do it. You will be so glad you did.

us every step of the way. They helped us immensely with our timeline, offering suggestions but never orders. They helped us get the day we wanted and we were never rushed. The pictures came back quickly and they are GORGEOUS. I usually do not like how I photograph but Aleksey and Leah really captured the emotions of the day. The photos are works of art. They captured so many moments even when I did not know they were there. Our guests said the same thing--they enhanced the day but they did not interfere with the day, blovk the guests, etc. All of the comments we received from our guests were 100% positive. My husband and I (and everyone else) felt very comfortable with them, The film they made for us makes me cry every time I watch it.
I am a type A personality who has high expectations. My expectations were surpassed. They are the consummate professionals who captured all of the moments we asked for plus many more. Check out their gallery. You will not be disappointed. I cannot recommend them enough.

For a little background, I planned my wedding from thousands of miles away, so most things had an additional level of difficulty to it, which was to be expected. Alekseyk photography was not one of those things. Everything about the photography portion of the wedding was made simple and easy through the hard work of AlekseyK Photography.
First of all, AlekseyK's communication was top notch. Even with the huge time zone difference, they responded to our questions and concerns quickly. Our meetings prior to the wedding were incredibly helpful and informative. They also provided a written timeline and notes to keep us on track.
Secondly, their customer service was wonderful and it really showed. All of my guests have reached out to me to compliment this team of photographers. Aleksey and his wife provided direction where needed, and were both friendly and kind. They assisted with so many things beyond the scope of what they were hired for.
Third, their timeliness was greatly appreciated. We received our photographs well within the time frame we were given by them. We were certainly not expecting to get our photographs so quickly, but it was the best surprise we could have asked for.
And finally- the photos themselves. We could tell from our first meeting, and through reviewing their portfolio, that this team had knowledge, experience, and talent. When we got the photos of our wedding, we were absolutely blown away- even with knowing what a great photographer they are. They were able to capture memories, not just pictures. You can see everyone's personality shining through the photos, and you can feel the love that was shared. We adore every photo we received.
To get a little emotional-our wedding photographer choice was an incredibly important one to me, considering my father is very ill and I don't have much time left with him. The quality photographs that they were able to get of him enjoying one of the most important days of my life will be cherished by my family and I forever. I have an enormous level of gratitude for their work.

nly know this and work within the confines of your event, but they collaborate with other vendors and those who perform the critical roles within your day to manage the flow so that you don’t have to.
From our first consultation to the final goodbye at the end of our day A&L treated our wedding with the utmost care, asking us important questions so that they could understand and capture our vision. They made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world, and that feeling comes through in our photos.
Throughout the event as A&L worked their magic we had the privilege of seeing a few previews of ones that they were particularly proud of and that told us two things; not only were we confident that our portfolio would be superb, but also that they genuinely care. Their passion for what they give you cannot be overstated.
We haven’t been able to stop looking over the sneak peek package but if they are in any way indicative of the rest we are beyond excited. As we wait to see our final drop, we couldn’t wait to write this review. We want everyone to know how important A&L are to us. We want A&L to know how important they are to us. We want everyone to choose them. We will remember the best day of our lives in the same way that we experienced it, because of Aleksey and Leah.

We really wanted a photographer that could capture traditional portraits as well as candid shots, and they did a beautiful job of both. Their attention to detail was especially appreciated. I never had to worry about my hair or dress being out of place because I felt confident they would fix/adjust anything as needed. The video was beautifully edited and I'm so happy we decided to add that option. It's also very nice that they offer photo and video, so you only have two people running around instead of 3 or 4. I feel that they are reasonably priced for the high quality of service provided. I highly recommend Aleksey!

in line and on time while also keeping us calm and collected! They were extremely thorough and easy to work with and we received a sneak peak of our photos just a couple of days after the wedding! So far they are STUNNING! I would highly recommend them!

at what they do. They both knew exactly the right angles for the best shots, keeping everyone on schedule, and having fun doing so! Aleksey is especially funny with his jokes to keep you laughing and feeling at ease. It was honestly such a wonderful experience from start to finish. And also, I have to Ofcourse mention all of the effort Aleksey put into BEFORE the events also- the hour long video chats with my husband and I, and the timeline that he put together and also re-edited a couple times too when a few of our plans changed- all of these little details did not go unnoticed by us. I would highly HIGHLY recommend using AlekseyKPhotography- he runs such a professional and class business, and we are SO happy we went with them!!!! We are actually going to miss him, not seeing him anymore. But I’m sure if we ever need professional pictures down the road, he will be the first person we call!!

e the wedding, Aleksey was super communicative with us and even carved out multiple meetings to go over the wedding timeline and talk through who would be involved in our wedding. During our wedding, Aleksey and Leah ensured we were on schedule so that we did not have to stress about time. Most importantly, their demeanors put us at ease throughout what can be a stressful planning process. Aleksey and Leah are masters at their craft, and I recommend them to any couple looking to capture all of the beauty of their wedding day!

ior to buying any goods or services. Aleksey's portfolio was stellar, but I wasn't quite sure how he would work out for us. Aleksey was great during all our video calls pre-wedding. He was even better on the wedding day. If it wasn't for his wife and him, we would not have such a well organized wedding shoot. Our photos came out phenomenal! We've received compliments that we had an amazing photographer, and we definitely did! Our wedding was at the Buffalo History Museum, and they were like photo ninjas. My wife and I had no idea they were around us, and many were surprised too, but they were suddenly there to capture the best moments. Aleksey and Leah are great at what they do, and this is very important on your Wedding Day. In fact, we (and family) would consider his work the best in Buffalo, so we highly recommend choosing them!
