I can not believe how lucky we were to book Aleksey for our engagement and wedding photography. He was able to capture the magic that both my husband and I felt on our wedding day. Family, friends, and other vendors all said what a fantastic job he did. When we got the sneak peak photos only 2 days after our day, we were blown away! Could not recommend him more, by far the best of the best!

I was recommended this photographer through my wedding venue, and boy did they not disappoint! I don't know that the level of my enthusiasm and high praise for this vendor can be properly portrayed through a written review, but I will try to touch on the key points here. For a little background, I planned my wedding from thousands of miles away, so most things had an additional level of difficulty to it, which was to be expected. Alekseyk photography was not one of those things. Everything about the photography portion of the wedding was made simple and easy through the hard work of AlekseyK Photography. First of all, AlekseyK's communication was top notch. Even with the huge time zone difference, they responded to our questions and concerns quickly. Our meetings prior to the wedding were incredibly helpful and informative. They also provided a written timeline and notes to keep us on track. Secondly, their customer service was wonderful and it really showed. All of my guests have reached out to me to compliment this team of photographers. Aleksey and his wife provided direction where needed, and were both friendly and kind. They assisted with so many things beyond the scope of what they were hired for. Third, their timeliness was greatly appreciated. We received our photographs well within the time frame we were given by them. We were certainly not expecting to get our photographs so quickly, but it was the best surprise we could have asked for. And finally- the photos themselves. We could tell from our first meeting, and through reviewing their portfolio, that this team had knowledge, experience, and talent. When we got the photos of our wedding, we were absolutely blown away- even with knowing what a great photographer they are. They were able to capture memories, not just pictures. You can see everyone's personality shining through the photos, and you can feel the love that was shared. We adore every photo we received. To get a little emotional-our wedding photographer choice was an incredibly important one to me, considering my father is very ill and I don't have much time left with him. The quality photographs that they were able to get of him enjoying one of the most important days of my life will be cherished by my family and I forever. I have an enormous level of gratitude for their work.

What can I say!? Not enough! Aleksey & Leah are top notch! Their professionalism to their sense of humor was exceptional. They truly kept our day in line. Every request we had plus some was done with extreme patience and honest advice. I truly felt I had a set of friends with me the entire day- from start to my bustle detaching and Leah helping me to fix it- when I say I could not have asked for a better team I truly mean that. Their speedy turnaround time For a sneak peek of over 70 photos 2 days after was mind blowing, with the photos being PHENOMENAL and everything we could have envisioned - and that was only the sneak peak. We knew Aleksey from another family wedding that we were part of and were so impressed with how amazing the photos turned out that he and his wife were the first vendors we booked after we got engaged. Aleksey and Leah not only know this and work within the confines of your event, but they collaborate with other vendors and those who perform the critical roles within your day to manage the flow so that you don’t have to. From our first consultation to the final goodbye at the end of our day A&L treated our wedding with the utmost care, asking us important questions so that they could understand and capture our vision. They made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world, and that feeling comes through in our photos. Throughout the event as A&L worked their magic we had the privilege of seeing a few previews of ones that they were particularly proud of and that told us two things; not only were we confident that our portfolio would be superb, but also that they genuinely care. Their passion for what they give you cannot be overstated. We haven’t been able to stop looking over the sneak peek package but if they are in any way indicative of the rest we are beyond excited. As we wait to see our final drop, we couldn’t wait to write this review. We want everyone to know how important A&L are to us. We want A&L to know how important they are to us. Directed us on which ways to pose and suggestions on day of wedding timeline. We are very pleased with the outcome of the photos. My bride didn't feel well the day of the wedding and Photographer was very understanding.

Book him! You will never regret it! We chose Aleksey based on his style and the emotion that he captures. We initially did not plan on taking engagement photos but we were so glad we did as we were able to feel more comfortable and learn Aleksey's techniques. He made us feel so comfortable as we are typically awkward with taking pictures. During the wedding planning process, he was incredibly helpful with the schedule, flow of the day, and providing great suggestions for locations. So many guests came up to us during the wedding to tell us how amazing he was and how they felt he was a part of the family. He was able to manage all of the personalities of wedding party with ease. We were so impressed by how many moments and emotions he was able to capture. We are absolutely obsessed with our pictures and the whole experience. We would book him again in a heart beat!

If I could give Aleksey 10 stars, I would! Aleksey and Leah were amazing from our engagement photos to our wedding day, to our wedding video. We bought photos and video and we are beyond thrilled with all of them! We've received tons of compliments and were able to make beautiful photo books from them to commemorate our special day. We really wanted a photographer that could capture traditional portraits as well as candid shots, and they did a beautiful job of both. Their attention to detail was especially appreciated. I never had to worry about my hair or dress being out of place because I felt confident they would fix/adjust anything as needed. The video was beautifully edited and I'm so happy we decided to add that option. It's also very nice that they offer photo and video, so you only have two people running around instead of 3 or 4. I feel that they are reasonably priced for the high quality of service provided. I highly recommend Aleksey!

Aleksey and his wife Leah are amazing. They have so much experience, are very organized, and know exactly what to do to get the perfect shot! They kept our very large bridal party in line and on time while also keeping us calm and collected! They were extremely thorough and easy to work with and we received a sneak peak of our photos just a couple of days after the wedding! So far they are STUNNING! I would highly recommend them!

Aleksey and his wife, Leah, were phenomenal, and way surpassed our expectations for both our wedding and engagement pictures. Their level of skill shows true mastery and expertise at what they do. And also, I have to Ofcourse mention all of the effort Aleksey put into BEFORE the events also- the hour long video chats with my husband and I, and the timeline that he put together and also re-edited a couple times too when a few of our plans changed- all of these little details did not go unnoticed by us. I would highly HIGHLY recommend using AlekseyKPhotography- he runs such a professional and class business, and we are SO happy we went with them!!!! We are actually going to miss him, not seeing him anymore. But I’m sure if we ever need professional pictures down the road, he will be the first person we call!!

Aleksey and Leah photographed two of my husband’s cousins’ weddings—we fell in love with their artistry and knew that we wanted them to photograph our wedding from the start. Before the wedding, Aleksey was super communicative with us and even carved out multiple meetings to go over the wedding timeline and talk through who would be involved in our wedding. During our wedding, Aleksey and Leah ensured we were on schedule so that we did not have to stress about time. Most importantly, their demeanors put us at ease throughout what can be a stressful planning process. Aleksey and Leah are masters at their craft, and I recommend them to any couple looking to capture all of the beauty of their wedding day!

If there is one advice I got before our wedding, it was to spend on a good photographer. I am normally the person who usually goes for the lowest quote, or really checks reviews prior to buying any goods or services. Aleksey's portfolio was stellar, but I wasn't quite sure how he would work out for us. Aleksey was great during all our video calls pre-wedding. He was even better on the wedding day. If it wasn't for his wife and him, we would not have such a well organized wedding shoot. Our photos came out phenomenal! We've received compliments that we had an amazing photographer, and we definitely did! Our wedding was at the Buffalo History Museum, and they were like photo ninjas. My wife and I had no idea they were around us, and many were surprised too, but they were suddenly there to capture the best moments. Aleksey and Leah are great at what they do, and this is very important on your Wedding Day. In fact, we (and family) would consider his work the best in Buffalo, so we highly recommend choosing them!

Aleksey and Leah are the best team and vendors we hired for our wedding. They are amazing and creative photographers that will get beautiful shots of you, your party, and family that really capture the emotion of the day. In addition to the photography, Aleksey and Leah go above and beyond. First of all, they are extremely organized and are on top of initiating scheduling for planning meetings where a schedule is organized for the entire day. Second, this organization translates into quick turn around on your pictures! Third, they will make the day of run smooth. They help you stick to your schedule and they work great as a team. Moreover, they are kind and supportive so you feel comfortable with them all day long. Lastly, Leah was a real MVP the day of our wedding, she had everything we needed from fashion tape to pins in her bag. When my bustle ended up not working, she literally sewed an impromptu bustle between the ceremony and reception effectively saving the day! I can't say enough kind things about Aleksey and Leah, we were so happy to work with them!

Their portfolio speaks for itself, so I want to emphasize how fantastic they were through the whole process. From our very first meeting Aleksey’s professionalism and expertise were apparent. We had two meetings prior to the wedding during which he gave advice and helped us develop our timeline. Of all of our vendors, Aleksey’s prep process was the most well planned and seamless. During our engagement session we knew that we chose the right photographer when he had us feeling comfortable in front of the camera and we left knowing our wedding would be in good hands. Throughout the wedding day Aleksey and Leah were flexible, calm, and kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed. They were able to flawlessly transition from quietly documenting moments like our first look to directing the whole family for portraits. We had multiple guests compliment their ability to help everyone pose to look their best, even in big group shots. They were excellent with all of our family members- grandparents, toddlers, and dogs included! To top it off, they went above and beyond their photographer duties- Leah was even ready to sew up my dress when my bustle broke. We are so impressed with the number and quality of photos we have gotten in our initial sneak peek just a few days after the wedding. They truly captured the emotions of the day. We searched for a photographer in both Buffalo and Rochester and chose Aleksey after our first zoom session in 2020. We initially planned to get married in 2021 but he worked with us to change our date due to COVID restrictions. Aleksey was actually the first person to start to create a timeline with us and this was incredibly helpful. Aleksey is friendly, professional, and organized. He is impressively fast with his turn around. We got our sneak peak within 2 days and full gallery within 2 weeks! We absolutely adore the wedding photographs Aleksey and Leah took. They make the best team-- Aleksey with his vision and Leah with her great eye and attention to detail. Aleksey was the best vendor we had. He meets twice before the wedding and really helps capture what the couple wants for photos. He was extremely helpful in the planning process with timeline. He also really assisted us with deciding where we wanted photos and type of photos. His wife and himself are the sweetest people, and we’re so kind and helpful the day of the wedding. They helped keep everything moving smoothly. They know how to pose people to make them look their best in the photos! We got the pictures back very quickly, less than 3 weeks. His skill with the use of light and posing is incredible and the photos are just breath taking. I highly recommend his company for photographer- you will be amazed!

My husband already wrote a review, but I had to also comment because Aleksey and Leah were just so fantastic at our wedding. Our photos are out of this world amazing, and Aleksey and Leah were just so fun and really added so much positivity and greatness to our day. I've only hired a photographer one other time, and frankly that time I found that other photographer annoying. I had a great time with Aleksey and Leah, and so did my guests. Many people commented on what a fun guy he was, and many many people have commented on how great the photos are! He also was really organized in all out pre-wedding planning meetings . I really can't endorse him enough for your event. He is excellent at planning photos, but also really great at candids. He helped make my wedding fun and also captured it perfectly.

You will not find a more dedicated artist team for your wedding. Aleksey and his wife Leah are excellent at photography, and they are truly devoted to giving you their best work. In addition, many of our wedding guests had fun interacting with them! Like - our guests, unprompted, told us they had a blast with Aleksey. He and his wife either blend into the surroundings and capture really touching moments without you even knowing they’re present, or you’re having fun taking pictures with them directly. There were quite a few times when I kinda wished they could have put the cameras down and had a drink with us to celebrate (but, as I said, they’re dedicated!)! Regarding the artistry of their work, our venue was the Admiral Room and we had some additional pictures taken at Buffalo City Hall. Aleksey and Leah are experts at taking advantage of amazing settings like these, or even capturing the big emotions of the day in a small hotel room you’re getting ready in. We were really not prepared for how cool and fun their initial shots were - which they shared just a couple days after the wedding, which was an awesome surprise! If you book Aleksey and Leah, we’re really excited for you (and a little jealous)!

Extremely professional on both our engagement photo shoot, our wedding day, and on all of our zoom meetings in between. Aleksey and his wife Leah made our experience fun and exciting every time we worked with them, and the photos came out fantastic! Photos are extremely artistic, and Aleksey plays with the light of the room very well! Aleksey was very receptive to any requests we had regarding our photos and had no problem adapting to them. After our special day, receiving the photos through Aleksey's online gallery was a super simple and easy process!

We absolutely LOVED working with Aleksey and Leah, and we are obsessed with our weddings photos! We could simply not have even asked for a better photographer than Aleksey and his wife Leah. Not only were they SO helpful through the entire planning process, but their photos came back STUNNING! We worked with them for both our engagement session and our wedding and we have both cried every time we received more pictures because of how much emotion they are able to capture! Their suggestions and guidance through the day of was perfect. They were flexible and reassuring the entire day. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Aleksey. He knows what it takes to get a shot and has great leadership to direct. He is professional and assertive, and at the same time keeps it fun and light. What impressed my wife and I the most is the final product. Many photographers had an impressive highlights portfolio, but when we requested to see a sample of full albums, the photos would fall short. Aleksey has the ability to deliver a consistent album. There are a number of fancy portfolio grade shots in our album. We are just so grateful to have found Aleksey after looking at over 100 portfolios. On such an important day, this is not the area to skimp. If you are looking for a true professional, this is your company.

Aleksey and his wife/assistant Leah we were the reason I got through the day calmly. They were both so amazingly organized, professional, funny, and not to mention helpful, more so than you would expect from a photographer at your wedding. Not only was the bridal party commenting on how they really liked Aleksey and Leah, but I even had a few guests make comments to me about how incredible they were. When I received the sneak peak of our photos I cried. These people are artists. They care about their craft. Some of the shots he lined up confused me at the time but, now that I’ve seen the end result I’m amazed. I would recommend them to anyone, I can’t believe there are people who don’t go with them.

If you are getting married and want a professional photographer I highly recommend AlekseyK! I actually tried getting a different photographer who was booked and told me I had to choose Aleksey. So glad we did. After a few zoom calls we could tell just how knowledgeable, punctual, friendly, and overall great guy he was. He is also great with kids, pays close attention to detail, creative, and was very prepared. We had him and his wife as the second photographer. They truly make a great pair and his wife helped me a lot. His works speaks for himself and he is an amazing person. Professionals from Beginning to End From the discovery call to weeks after the wedding, Aleksey has been nothing but a professional. When choosing what we wanted and how we wanted it done, we were never pressured into anything that we didn't want. Aleksey has a great way of advising us on best practices without being pushy. We always got the feeling that whatever we wanted, he would make it work. Leading up to the wedding, we had several check-ups with Aleksey which demonstrated his consistent desire to make everything perfect and make it so the least amount of decisions as possible had to be made on the big day. Aleksey and Leah were punctual on the morning of the wedding and did a great job sticking to the plan. They do a great job of not interfering with the natural flow of the "getting-ready" process while still making sure that they get the shots that you hire them to get, all while laughing and having a good time with the people they're with. When it comes to first-look, family formals, wedding-party shots, etc..., they waste no time - they get the shots they need and move on, taking as little time away from the day as possible. As for the ceremony and reception, they became invisible. You barely notice they're there, but when you do, you can always see they're working to get the great shots. I highly recommend everyone take 10-15 minutes out of your reception to get some quiet sunset pictures if it's an option. We saw the sneak-peek pictures and they're incredible. I can't think of anything I'd change about our experience with Aleksey and Leah. Truly professionals!

If you’re looking for a photographer, your search is over. This is the one!!! Every time I open our engagement album and wedding album, tears of joy and love fill my eyes. I cannot express enough that working with Aleksey and Leah was the best part of our wedding and wedding planning process. Aleksey is extremely knowledgeable and gave us SO much advice and insight to wedding things that had never crossed my mind. I was anxious going into our engagement pictures because I had never had pictures taken like that before and I didn’t know what to expect. Aleksey immediately made us feel comfortable and made it FUN! I will always remember that day. He consistently checked in with us throughout the months leading up to our wedding and spent time getting to know us. Any time I had a question, he responded right away. He helped us tweak some things like how our DJ should set up and where our introductions should be in order to make our day perfect. The day of the wedding, Leah was way beyond thoughtful and caring. Any anxiety or worry I had, she immediately calmed me down and brought me back to earth. When my hair was falling out, she pinned it up. When I needed fashion tape, you bet she had it. When I started worrying about our bar, both Aleksey and Leah jumped in to remind me of what truly matters and even bustled my dress. What I’m saying is, Aleksey and Leah become your friends. They are the sweetest, most caring people and not to mention how talented and unmatchable their work is. The emotion they captured in our pictures is truly remarkable. You can see their passion and dedication just radiates in all of their work. I cannot thank them enough and I’m sad our wedding is over but I hope I have another reason to hire them again soon. Our best friends just got engaged after our wedding and plan on hiring Aleksey. And my new sister in law plans on hiring him too when her day comes. We hired Aleksey and his wife Leah for our planned 2020 wedding. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to reschedule multiple times. Aleksey was always willing to work with us and we are so thrilled that he and Leah were able to photograph our 2021 wedding. We had multiple Zoom meetings prior to our event, and Aleksey really helped us plan our wedding-day timeline. When the day finally came, Aleksey and Leah were very professional and captured so many special moments. We love our photos! Aleksey really has a talent for capturing meaningful candids. We cannot say enough positive things regarding our experience with Aleksey. He did our engagement photos last year and then he was flexible when we needed to reschedule our wedding to 2021. His timeline of the day helped keep us organized and anxiety-free. You end up spending a lot of the wedding day with the photographers, and Aleksey and his wife were some of the nicest, most professional people you could ask for. He provided a “sneak peek” of over 50 photos only a couple days after our wedding, and we are so in love with them and can’t wait to see the rest!
